And so I believe ~ as we observe in what I’ve shared with you so far ~ that
this wall of separation between Protestants and Catholics has very few bricks
left on it. It is coming down as I speak day by day.
Maka saya yakin ~ dengan

Protestan dan Katolik hanya tersisa beberapa buah batu bata saja. Tembok itu
semakin runtuh hari demi hari sementara saya sedang berbicara ini.
Now what about the second wall, the wall of separation between church
and state?
Well, folks in 1787 and in 1791 the US adopted its Constitution.
It’s the closest to be an inspired document of any human document that has ever
been written. You’ll notice the first part of the first Amendment to the
Constitution says, “Congress shall make no law respecting
an establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof…”
Another way of expressing it is a separation between what? A
separation between church and state because the First Amendment then begins to
speak about civil rights in the second half of the First Amendment. And so the
first half of the First Amendment has to do with religious rights, the second
half has to do with civil rights. These are the two horns of the beast that is
found in Revelation 13:8, two lamblike horns, Republicanism and Protestantism
if you please. So the US was instrumental in buidling this wall of separation between
church and state.
Sekarang
bagaimana dengan tembok yang kedua,
tembok pemisah antara Gereja dengan Negara atau Pemerintah?
Nah,
Saudara-saudara di tahun 1787 dan 1791, Amerika Serikat telah memberlakukan
Konstitusinya. Ini adalah dokumen yang dibuat oleh manusia yang paling mirip

But there was something else that was instrumental in building this
wall and it was what happened in 1798 just a few years after the Constitution
and the Bill of Rights were adopted. You see as we’ve studied before,
Revelation 13:10 says, “He who leads into captivity shall go
into captivity; he who kills with the sword must be killed with the sword…” We’ve already discussed this, the sword represents what? It
represents the civil power, it represents the power of the government, of the
state. The Papacy used the sword of the state during the 1260 years. But in
1798, the state, the civil power, the political power used the sword against
whom? Used the sword against the Papacy.
You know, you can read for example Romans 13:4, here we find a
description of what the sword represents. It says there, speaking abut the
civil magistrate, “For he is the minister of
God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he
beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to
execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.”
So you notice here that the sword represents the civil power. And
in 1798 the state gave a deadly wound to the Roman Catholic Papacy, in other
words the state now was separated from the church. And in the US the
Constitution and the Bill of Rights guarantee the separation of church and
state shortly after the deadly wound was given. This is the reason why Malachi
Martin the Jesuit priest could say this about the Roman Catholic Papacy and
what happened in France. He says, “…200
years of inactivity had been imposed upon the papacy by the major secular powers of the
world.” You
catch that? “200 years of inactivity had been imposed upon
the papacy by the major secular powers
of the world.” In other words the states of the world keep the deadly
wound in place.
Tetapi ada
hal lain yang punya peranan dalam pembangunan dinding ini, dan itulah yang
terjadi di 1798, hanya beberapa tahun setelah diberlakukannya Konstitusi dan
Bill of Rights (Amendemen kepada Konstitusi). Kalian lihat, sebagaimana telah

kekuasaan sipil, kekuasaan politik, memakai pedang itu pada siapa? Memakai
pedang itu pada Kepausan. Kalian tahu, kalian bisa membaca misalnya Roma 13:4 di
sini kita dapati suatu deskripsi pedang itu melambangkan apa. Dikatakan di
sana, berbicara tentang penguasa sipil, “Karena dia adalah hamba Allah untuk kebaikanmu. Tetapi jika engkau berbuat
jahat, takutlah, karena dia tidak menyandang pedang dengan percuma,
karena dia adalah hamba Allah, untuk
membalaskan murka Allah atas mereka yang berbuat jahat.” [KJV yang diindonesiakan].
Jadi kalian
lihat bahwa pedang melambangkan
kekuasaan sipil. Dan di tahun 1798, Negara memberikan luka yang
mematikan kepada Kepausan Roma Katolik, dengan kata lain Negara sekarang
dipisahkan dari Gereja. Dan di Amerika Serikat, Konstitusinya dan
Bill of Rights-nya menjamin pemisahan gereja dari negara, tak lama setelah luka
yang mematikan itu terjadi.
Inilah mengapa Malachi Martin, imam Jesuit itu, bisa
berkata demikian tentang Kepausan Roma Katolik dan apa yang terjadi di
Perancis, dia berkata, “…200 tahun ketidakaktifan telah
dipaksakan kepada Kepausan oleh kekuasaan-kekuasan besar dunia sekuler.”
Apakah kalian menangkap itu? “…200
tahun ketidakaktifan telah dipaksakan kepada Kepausan oleh kekuasaan-kekuasan
besar dunia sekuler.” Dengan kata lain pemerintahan sekuler dunialah yang membuat luka yang
mematikan ini tetap ada.
Ellen
White also says in Great Controversy pg.
564 something very similar. She says, “…Let the restrains…” notice the word “restrains” “…Let the restrains now imposed by secular
governments…” what is it that
imposed the restrains? The secular governments. Is that the same as “200 years
of inactivity by the secular governments?” Absolutely. Ellen White was writing
over 100 years before Malachi Martin. “…Let
the restrains now imposed by secular governments be removed and Rome be
reinstated in her former power, and there would speedily be a revival of her
tyranny and persecution.”
Ellen White juga mengatakan sesuatu yang sangat mirip di Great Controversy hal. 564, dia berkata, “Bilamana pengekangan…” perhatikan
kata “pengekangan” “…Bilamana
pengekangan yang sekarang dipaksakan oleh pemerintah-pemerintah
sekuler…” siapa
yang memaksakan pengekangan? Pemerintah-pemerintah sekuler. Apakah ini sama
dengan “200 tahun ketidakaktifan yang dipaksakan oleh… dunia sekuler”? Betul
sekali. Ellen White menulis itu lebih dari 100 tahun sebelum Malachi Martin. “…Bilamana
pengekangan yang sekarang dipaksakan oleh pemerintah-pemerintah sekuler disingkirkan, dan Roma dikembalikan ke kekuasaannya
yang sebelumnya, akan terjadi suatu kebangkitan yang cepat pada tiraninya dan
penganiayaannya.”
Let
me ask you is the US instrumental in uniting Protestants and Catholics
according to what we’ve studied? Will the US be instrumental in tearing down the wall of
separation between church and state which it built? Absolutely. The US
is involved in both. In fact notice Revelation 13:3, speaking about the deadly
wound and what’s going to happen, after the deadly wound is healed. It says, “And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death…”
that is by the sword by the civil
power in 1798 but then it says, “…and his deadly wound was…” what? “…was healed…”
which means that he must now have
what again? He must have the sword in his hand. And it says, “…and all the world
wondered after the beast.”
Ironically
enough it’s the US which actually built the wall of separation, which tear it
down and return the power to the Beast of Revelation 13.
Coba
saya tanya, apakah Amerika Serikat
yang berperan mempersatukan Protestan dan Katolik menurut apa
yang telah kita pelajari? Apakah Amerika
Serikat akan berperan dalam merobohkan tembok pemisah antara Gereja dan Pemerintah yang telah dibangunnya sendiri? Betul
sekali. Amerika Serikat terlibat dalam keduanya. Bahkan simak Wahyu 13:3,
berbicara tentang luka yang mematikan dan apa yang akan terjadi setelah luka
yang mematikan itu sembuh. Dikatakan, “Maka tampaklah kepadaku satu
dari kepala-kepalanya seperti kena luka yang mematikan…” yaitu oleh pedang kekuasaan sipil pada
tahun 1798, tetapi kemudian dikatakan, “…tetapi luka yang mematikan itu…”
apa? “…sembuh…”
berarti sekarang dia pasti memiliki apa lagi? Dia pasti
memiliki pedang lagi di tangannya. Dan dikatakan, “…Seluruh dunia heran, lalu
mengikut binatang itu.”
Ironisnya,
Amerika Serikat-lah yang membangun tembok pemisah itu, yang diruntuhkannya
sendiri dan mengembalikan kekuasaan kepada Binatang Wahyu 13.
Notice
Revelation 13:11, it says, “And I beheld another
beast coming up out of the earth…” this represents the US
“…and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon…”
Notice Revelation 13:12 how the US is
going to be instrumental in giving the power back to the Beast. It says, “…12 And he exerciseth…”
that is the second beast, the US, “…exerciseth all the power of the
first Beast before him…” see everything he does is with respect to the first Beast
“…and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship
the first Beast, whose deadly wound was healed.”
The
second beast, the US, is then going to be instrumental in making everybody worship the
image to the first Beast, imposed the mark of the first Beast, persecute as the
first Beast did, in order for this to happen, the wall of separation
between church and state must come down.
Simak Wahyu 13:11, dikatakan, “Dan aku melihat seekor binatang lain keluar dari dalam bumi…” ini melambangkan Amerika Serikat “…dan dia memiliki dua tanduk
seperti anak domba dan ia berbicara seperti seekor naga…” Perhatikan Wahyu 13:12 bagaimana
Amerika Serikat akan berperan dalam memberikan kekuasaan kembali kepada
Binatang itu. Dikatakan, “…12 Dan dia menjalankan…” ini
adalah binatang yang kedua, yaitu Amerika Serikat, “…menjalankan seluruh kuasa Binatang
yang pertama itu di depan matanya…” lihat,
segala yang dilakukannya adalah demi Binatang yang pertama, “…dan Ia membuat seluruh bumi dan
semua penghuninya menyembah Binatang pertama, yang luka parahnya telah sembuh.” [KJV yang diindonesiakan]
Binatang yang kedua, Amerika Serikat akan berperan
membuat semua orang menyembah patung Binatang pertama, memaksakan tanda
Binatang pertama, menganiaya sebagaimana Binatang yang pertama itu
pernah menganiaya. Dan supaya semua ini boleh terjadi, tembok pemisah antara Gereja dengan Pemerintah harus dirobohkan.
Now
what has been happening in this realm in
the last several years? Well, the US had broken diplomatic relations with the
Vatican in 1867 because of the work of Pius IX. At times the US tried to
reestablish diplomatic relations with the Vatican, f.i. in 1951 Harry Truman
tried to send an ambassador to the Vatican and there was such an uproar that he
said, “Forget it, I’m not going to pursue it anymore.” But when Ronald Reagan
tried to send an ambassador to the Vatican, William Wilson, it hardly even
caused a ripple among Protestants, most Protestants didn’t see any problem with
sending an ambassador of a country of a political power to a church, to the
Roman Catholic church.
Nah,
apa yang terjadi di dunia ini selama beberapa tahun yang terakhir? Yah, Amerika
Serikat telah memutuskan hubungan diplomatik dengan Vatikan di tahun 1867 gara-gara
apa yang dilakukan Pius IX. Beberapa kali Amerika Serikat berusaha memulihkan

There
are some disturbing things that people are saying about the wall of separation
between church and state.
Notice
Judge William Rehnquist, the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of the US, once
said this, “The
wall of separation between church and state is a metaphor based on bad history.
A metaphor which has proved useless as a guide in judging. It should be frankly
and explicitly abandoned.” That’s the Chief
Justice of the Supreme Court of the US saying, “You should abandon the idea of
the separation of church and state.” Actually Rehnquist believes that what the
First Amendment forbids is the establishment of a church, of a state church, or
favoring one church above other churches. That’s not what the First Amendment
says. The First Amendment does not say, “Congress shall make no law respecting
the establishment of a church” or “of one church above another church”. It
says, “Congress
shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion…” Now, what part of
“establishment of religion” don’t you understand? It’s a crash in the reinterpretation of the First
Amendment to say that it merely forbids, you know, it merely forbids the state
from favoring one church above another church.
Ada orang-orang yang mengatakan hal-hal yang
mengkhawatirkan tentang tembok pemisah antara gereja dengan pemerintah.
Simak Hakim William Rehnquist, Ketua
Mahkamah Agung Amerika Serikat, pernah berkata
demikian, “Dinding pemisah antara gereja dan pemerintah adalah suatu
metafora berdasarkan sejarah yang buruk, suatu metafora yang telah terbukti
tidak bermanfaat sebagai pedoman untuk menilai. Terus terang dan sangat jelas
itu haruslah ditinggalkan.” Ini Ketua Mahkamah Agung Amerika
Serikat yang berkata, “Kita harus meninggalkan konsep pemisahan gereja dari
pemerintah.” Sebenarnya Rehnquist meyakini bahwa apa yang dilarang oleh
Amandemen Pertama adalah pendirian sebuah gereja, atau pendirian sebuah gereja
negara, atau memberikan dukungan lebih kepada satu gereja di atas gereja yang

And
there is something that is coming up these days among the Protestants you know,
Falwell and Pat Robertson, and others, they are saying, “Listen, the First
Amendment was meant to protect the church from the state but it was not meant
to protect the state from the church.” In other words it is totally contrary to
what history shows. It goes both ways. The state is affected by the church
becoming involved, and the church is affected by the state becoming involved.
It’s a matter of history.
Dan
dewasa ini ada sesuatu yang muncul di antara orang-orang Protestan, kalian
tahu, Falwell dan Pat Robertson dan yang lain, mereka berkata, “Dengar,

Baptist Convention had to say this, “I
believe that this notion of the separation of church and state was the figment
of some infidel’s imagination.”

Robertson who by the way got himself into hot water by saying that we should
assassinate Hugo Chaves in Venezuela, this of course he is pro-life. This is a
hypocrisy.
Pat
Robertson mengakibatkan dirinya kena masalah karena mengatakan kita harus
membunuh Hugo Chaves di Venezuela, padahal tentu saja dia mengaku sebagai
pro-hidup. Ini adalah kemunafikan.
Well,
do you know that Jerry Falwell said, that we need to round up the terrorist and
that we need to blow them up, blow them away in the name of the Lord? Does that
sound
like
something that a preacher should say? Don’t those people need to be saved?
Don’t they need to hear about Jesus, what’s this about blowing people away in
the name of the Lord?
Nah,
tahukah kalian apa kata Jerry Falwell? Bahwa kita perlu menangkapi semua
teroris dan kita harus meledakkan mereka. Meledakkan mereka dalam nama Tuhan?
Apakah pantas seorang
pendeta mengucapkan kata-kata seperti
ini? Apakah orang-orang itu tidak butuh

We’ve
been called to preach the Gospel in those places, we have not been called to
get politically involved. And Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell are more
politicians than ministers, and they’ve disfigured the face of Christ before
the people, you know, the Liberals so called. You know, they are not going to
be reached that way.
Kita

heart.

Keith
Fournier, Roman Catholic, author of the book Evangelical
Catholics, a very good friend of Ralph Reed, he said this, “The wall of separation between
church and state that was erected by secular humanists and other enemies of
religious freedom, has to come down.” You know I find
it so interesting that he would say the wall “was erected by secular humanists and enemies of religious
freedom”, well it is just the contrary. He says, “That wall is more of a threat
to society than the Berlin wall ever was. Those opposing argues are the new
fascists.”
This
is the way that religious leaders are talking about the wall of separation
between church and state.
Keith Fournier, seorang Roma Katolik, penulis buku Evangelical Catholics, sahabat Ralph Reed, berkata
demikian, “Tembok pemisah antara gereja dengan pemerintah yang dibangun
oleh humanis sekuler dan musuh-musuh lain kebebasan beragama, harus

And
then you have election 2000 and election 2004, the red state Evangelicals and Catholics banding together joining forces on moral
issues to elect the President of the US. Many of you may not be aware but on
May 24, 2000, congressman Chris Smith a Roman Catholic, introduced legislation
to give the Pope the congressional gold medal, the highest honor that Congress
can confer upon an individual.
In
July, the House and the Senate have voted to confer this honor, and Bill
Clinton on July 27, 2000, signed the declaration and of course the US gave
the Pope this congressional gold medal, the highest recognition of the Congress
of the US.
Kemudian
peristiwa pemilu 2000 dan pemilu 2004, golongan Evangelis dan Katolik
Republikan bergabung bersama bersatu dalam isu-isu moral untuk memilih Presiden
Amerika Serikat. Kebanyakan dari kalian mungkin tidak menyadari tetapi pada 24
Mei 2000, anggota Kongres Chris Smith, seorang Roma Katolik, mengajukan kepada
Parlemen untuk menganugerahi Paus medal emas Kongres, penghargaan tertinggi
yang bisa dianugerahkan Kongres kepada seseorang. Di bulan Juli, Parlemen dan
Senat mengambil suara untuk menganugerahkan kehormatan tersebut dan Bill

all know about George Bush’s executive order saying that faith based
initiatives can receive funds from the government, we know what he has done in
terms of vouchers.
Kita
semua tahu tentang perintah eksekutif George Bush yang mengatakan bahwa
inisiatif yang berdasarkan agama boleh menerima dana dari pemerintah. Kita tahu

We
could go on and on.
Of
course we have Katrina.
You
know you might say, “Well, Pastor, you need to pray for the President.”
Yes,
we need to pray that the President will keep the wall built. That he will not
allow himself to be affected by right wing evangelicals or left wing
individuals who also have their own agendas, by the way they are going to meet
in the middle.

juga soal Katrina.
Kalian
mungkin berkata, “Nah, Pastor, Anda perlu berdoa untuk Bapak Presiden.”
Ya,
kita perlu berdoa agar Presiden akan mempertahankan tembok itu, agar dia tidak
akan membiarkan dirinya dipengaruhi oleh Protestan sayap kanan atau orang-orang
sayap kiri yang juga memiliki agenda mereka sendiri, yang akhirnya mereka akan
bertemu di tengah-tengah.
Do
you know what’s happening? Liberals they want gay marriage. Conservatives want
Sunday legislation. Do you know that both of those are changes in God’s law and
both are creation institutions? So what’s worse? Imposing a non-biblical Sunday
or imposing unbiblical gay marriage? It’s the same whether it’s left or right,
makes no difference. Because the Devil’s intention is to get rid of the law.
Tahukah
kalian apa yang sedang terjadi? Golongan Liberal menghendaki perkawinan sesama
jenis. Golongan Konservatif minta undang-undang hari Minggu. Tahukah kalian
bahwa kedua hal itu adalah mengubah hukum Allah, dan keduanya adalah
lembaga-lembaga yang diadakan saat Penciptaan? Jadi mana yang lebih buruk?
Memaksakan hari Minggu yang tidak alkitabiah atau memaksakan perkawinan sejenis
yang tidak alkitabiah? Sama saja, apakah itu kiri atau kanan, tidak ada
bedanya. Karena tujuan Iblis adalah

middle and it has a big long tail, and it looks just like a fetus. You know
where I am going with this? Actually that hurricane that hit the Gulf coast was
God’s revenge upon this country because of all of the abortions that are
performed. Galvanizes Protestants and Catholics in the same camp.

all know about the battle over Supreme Court justices. You know some of the
right wing evangelicals in the US are saying that we need to impeach activist
judges. Now I don’t agree with everything the judges do, particularly Liberal
judges, I believe that they ride the law, but it’s equally disturbing ~ instead
of interpreting the law ~ I believe it’s equally disturbing for us to see
protestant ministers influencing their constituencies to try and get the
government to impeach judges because the judges don’t go exactly the way that
they feel that they should judge.

three US Presidents, and one who wanted to go but he was slighted which would

wasn’t included. Five million people went to Vatican city during that week,
three hundred thousand gathered in St. Peter’s Square ~ those of you who’ve
been there, that would be pretty tight to get 300 thousand people in there.
People stood in line 24 hours just to view the body of John Paul II, and the
pomp and the ceremony was incomparable. I mean, I don’t know if it happened
with you but I was wowed, I was filled with awe, at the colors and the
vestments and the music, and the cathedral. Wow! It was amazing. Pretty close
to “the whole world wondering after the Beast.”

You
know it’s interesting the US thinks in years, the Roman Catholic church thinks
in centuries. The US has had 43 Presidents, the Roman Catholic church has had
262 Popes, many of them ruled for over 20 years. That’s why Ellen White says
that the Roman Catholic church can read what will be, not because she can read
the future but on the basis of her experience and observing what happened as a
result of this and as a result of that, they can read pretty well what’s going
to happen.

oppression and priestly intolerance were many who determined to establish a
government upon the broad foundation of civil and religious liberty. Their
views found place in the Declaration of Independence which sets forth the great
truth that ‘all men are created equal’ and endowed with the inalienable right
to ‘life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness’. And the Constitution
guarantees to the people the right of self government providing that
representatives elected by the popular vote shall enact and administer the
laws. Freedom of religious faith was also granted, every man being permitted to worship God according to the
dictates of his conscience…” now notice this,
here’s the key, “…Republicanism and Protestantism…” Republicanism basically means civil liberty,
Protestantism means religious liberty. She says “…Republicanism and Protestantism became the
fundamental principles of the nation. These principles are the secret of its
power and prosperity…” Have you ever
thought that the wall of separation between church and state is the secret of
the power and prosperity of the US? Is this perhaps the reason why the US is
experiencing so many calamities in the recent past? If it is the secret of her
power and prosperity, when you start tearing down that wall, what happens with
prosperity and power? It begins to lose its power and its prosperity.

berarti kebebaskan beragama. Ellen White melanjutkan, “…Republikanisme
dan Protestantisme merupakan prinsip-prinsip fundamental bangsa ini.
Prinsip-prinsip ini adalah rahasia kuasa dan kemakmurannya…” Pernahkah
kalian berpikir bahwa tembok pemisah antara gereja dan pemerintah adalah
rahasia kekuasaan dan kemakmuran Amerika Serikat? Inikah alasannya barangkali
mengapa Amerika Serikat mengalami begitu banyak bencana akhir-akhir ini? Jika
tembok itulah rahasia kekuasaan dan kemakmurannya, maka bila tembok itu mulai
dibongkar, apa yang terjadi dengan kemakmuran dan kuasa? Dia mulai kehilangan
kuasanya dan kemakmurannya.
So two walls have pretty much come down.
But there is one further wall that I would
like to make some remarks on, and that is the separation between Communism and Catholicism.
The first bricks of this wall were placed
at the time of the French Revolution which was an atheistic reaction against
religion. Further bricks were added to the wall in 1917 with the Bolshevik
revolution. Even more bricks were added to the wall, separating Catholics and
Communists by the agreement between Truman, Churchill and Stalin after WWII,
carving up Europe. And this wall was further bolstered in the 1960’s when
country after country even in Latin America became Communist or lean toward
Communism. I’d like to symbolize this wall by the Berlin wall. The wall of
separation between Catholicism and Communism. Catholicism could never regain its
power unless this wall of separation between them and Communism could be torn
down, because half of Europe which had belonged to the Papacy was no
longer the Papacy’s, it was in Communist’s hands. Now, I am not going to go
into this in a lot of details but Daniel 11:40 speaks about the time of the
end, the king of the south rising against the king of the north. The king of the south represents Atheism,
primarily during the French revolution. It’s the spirit of the Pharaoh who
says, “Who is the Lord? I don’t know the Lord and I won’t let His people go.”
So at
the time of the end the king of the south is atheism, manifested
primarily in France, and he arises against the king of the north which
by the way at that time was the Papacy. The French Revolution actually
culminated with the taking of the Pope prisoner but then we are told that the
king of the north which represents the Papacy would arise against the king of
the south ~ that is atheism, that is communism ~ and he would overwhelm and he would
conquer him and everything that he had taken from the Papacy.
Jadi dua tembok sudah boleh dikatakan runtuh.
Tetapi masih ada satu tembok lagi
yang ingin saya bahas, dan itu adalah pemisahan
antara Komunisme dengan Katolikisme.
Batu-batu bata yang pertama dari

berada di tangan Komunisme. Nah, saya tidak akan berpanjang lebar dengan
detail-detail tetapi Daniel 11:40 berbicara mengenai masa akhir zaman, di mana raja negeri
selatan bangkit melawan raja negeri utara. Raja negeri selatan melambangkan
Atheisme, terutama selama masa revolusi Perancis. Itulah semangat Firaun yang
berkata, “Siapa itu Tuhan? Aku tidak kenal Tuhan dan aku tidak akan melepaskan
umatNya.” Jadi di masa akhir zaman, raja negeri selatan adalah
Atheisme, yang diwujudkan terutama oleh Perancis, dan dia bangkit melawan raja negeri
utara, yang pada waktu itu adalah Kepausan. Revolusi Perancis telah memuncak
dengan ditangkapnya Paus sebagai tawanan, tetapi
kemudian kita diberitahu bahwa raja negeri utara yang mewakili Kepausan akan bangkit melawan

You know it’s interesting that in 1982 a
secret alliance was formed between John Paul II and Ronald Reagan. I’d like to
read you a statement from Time magazine.
The title of the cover is “The Holy Alliance”, on one side is the Pope and on
the side is Ronald Reagan. And this is what we find in the Time article page 28
of February 24, 1992.
Kalian tahu, yang menarik adalah
di tahun 1982, suatu aliansi rahasia terbentuk antara Yohanes Paulus II dengan
Ronald Reagan. Saya ingin membacakan pernyataan itu dari majalah Time. Judul sampulnya adalah “Aliansi Kudus”
dan di satu sisi adalah gambar Paus, sedangkan di sisi lain gambar Ronald
Reagan. Dan inilah yang kita dapati di artikel dalam Time edisi 28 Februari 1992.

pertama Ronald Reagan dalam bidang keamanan nasional. ‘Ini adalah salah salah
satu aliansi rahasia yang paling besar segala zaman.”
It’s interesting to notice that the
economic power and the political power
of the US, the military power combined with the Intelligence of the Roman
Catholic church on the ground in all of those countries led to what we
all know, the
fall of the Berlin wall and the demise of Communism in Eastern Europe.

terkenal karena Watergate ~ dan dia menulis sebuah buku berjudul His Holiness, di mana dia mendokumentasikan
sekitar 700-800 halaman mengenai segala sesuatu yang terjadi sehubungan dengan
pertemuan-pertemuan Ronald Reagan dengan Paus. Betul-betul mengagumkan.
Bagaimana sebagai akibatnya, Komunisme benar-benar jatuh di Eorpa Timur.

Malachi Martin, the Jesuit who died by
the way under mysterious circumstances in his book, The Keys of This Blood, stated this: “There are three global powers that are
competing for world dominion:
1. Communism
2. Western
capitalism
3. Roman
Catholicism…”
And he boldly said, “…There is no doubt as to who is going to win
this battle for the dominion of the world…” He says, “…it will be
the Roman Catholic system that will dominate and control the whole world.” Since he wrote that
book, communism in Eastern Europe has fallen and Western capitalism is in
decay. Western capitalism because of its immorality and because of its going
astray from biblical principles is crumbling and falling apart, which means
that Malachi Martin was certainly right.
Malachi Martin, Jesuit yang mati
dalam kondisi mencurigakan, di bukunya The Keys
of this Blood, menyatakan ini: “Ada
tiga kuasa global yang bersaing untuk dominasi dunia:

Katolikisme-lah yang akan mendominasi dan mengontrol seluruh dunia.” Sejak dia menulis buku itu, Komunisme di Eropa Timur telah jatuh dan
kapitalisme Barat sedang membusuk. Kapitalisme Barat karena immoralitasnya dan
penyimpangannya dari prinsip-prinsip Alkitab sedang disintegrasi dan hancur berkeping-keping, yang
berarti Malachi Martin memang benar.
Ellen White was very bold when she said
in the 1880’s that the walls would come down, the wall between Protestants and
Catholic, the wall between church and state, and the wall between atheism or
communism and Roman Catholicism.
Folks, I believe that we are living at
the very end of time. You look at what’s happening in the world just since
9/11, this horrendous tsunami in southern Asia, the terrible disaster in New
Orleans, you know Ellen White said that popular cities would be reduced to ruin
and desolation? She says in Great Controversy
pg 589. She speaks about tornadoes and earthquakes, she says that these things
will become more and more frequent, and will be more and more terrible as we
approach the end of time. Can you imagine 3 disasters in the US all at the same
time like the one in New Orleans? It’s going to happen. And Ellen White makes
it clear that the reason why is because when humanity can find no way out, they
are going to look for a scapegoat, she says that then the Devil will persuade
men that it is the remnant that is causing all of these evils. That is the
ultimate agenda of Satan.
Ellen White sangat berani ketika
dia berkata di tahun 1880an bahwa tembok-tembok itu akan runtuh: tembok antara
Protestan dan Katolik, tembok antara gereja dan pemerintah, dan tembok antara
atheism atau komunisme dan Roma Katolikisme.
Saudara-saudara, saya yakin kita
hidup di akhir zaman. Kita lihat apa saja yang terjadi di dunia sejak 9/11:
tsunami yang mengerikan di Asia Tenggara, bencana yang hebat di New Orleans. Kalian
tahu Ellen White berkata kota-kota yang terkenal akan dihabiskan menjadi kehancuran dan kerusakan? Ellen White
berkata di Great Controversy hal. 589. Dia berbicara tentang tornado dan
gempa bumi, dia berkata hal-hal ini akan semakin lama semakain banyak dan
semakin sering, dan semakin mengerikan semakin kita mendekati akhir zaman.
Bisakah kalian bayangkan tiga bencana seperti yang di New Orleans terjadi di
Amerika Serikat semuanya sekitar waktu yang sama? Itu akan terjadi. Dan Ellen
White sudah menjelaskan alasannya, itu dikarenakan pada waktu kemanusiaan tidak
bisa menemukan jalan keluarnya, mereka akan mencari kambing hitamnya. Ellen
White berkata pada waktu itu Iblis akan membujuk manusia bahwa umat yang
tersisa itulah penyebab segala kejahatan ini. Itulah agenda puncak Setan.
You know there are things that the news
hardly even report it. Horrendous fires in Portugal, terrible flooding in
central Europe, you know I could go on and on about things happening right now
in the world. Unbelievable, the world seems to be falling apart. I praise the Lord that God has given us the
spirit of prophecy. And it will be a pretty dire situation in this world if we
didn’t have this special light about what’s happening and where we are going.
We need to thank the Lord for this special light that He has given us. And
folks, we need to get with it, we need to get spiritually in tune with the
Lord, we need to study our Bibles such as never before, we need to pray such as
never before, we need to witness to others such as never before. People are
asking question about what’s happening. We have the golden opportunity to tell
them. We’ve got the explanation in the book The
Great Controversy with luxury of details. We need to be faithful in attending
church. We need to be faithful in our stewardship. We need to be involved in
some position in the church, leadership position in the church. You know the
day is almost past, the night is coming when no man can work.
I pray to God that this morning as a
result of what we’ve studied, you know that this will awaken us from our
slumber, and will lead us to make a fuller consecration of our lives to the
Lord.
Let us pray.
Kalian tahu, ada banyak hal yang
tidak pernah dilaporkan dalam berita. Kebakaran yang mengerikan di Portugal,
banjir besar di Eropa tengah, kalian tahu saya bisa melanjutkan tentang

Tuhan karena telah memberikan kita roh nubuat. Dan kondisi di dunia ini pasti sangat
menakutkan seandainya kita tidak memiliki terang istimewa ini yang memberitahu
kita apa yang sedang terjadi dan ke mana kita menuju. Kita harus bersyukur
kepada Tuhan untuk terang istimewa yang telah diberikanNya kepada kita. Dan
Saudara-saudara, kita perlu memanfaatkannya, kita harus menyerasikan diri kita
secara rohani dengan Tuhan, kita harus mempelajari Alkitab kita seperti yang
belum pernah kita lakukan, kita harus berdoa seperti yang belum pernah kita
lakukan, kita perlu bersaksi kepada orang lain seperti yang belum pernah kita
lakukan. Banyak orang bertanya mengenai apa yang sedang terjadi. Kita punya
kesempatan emas untuk memberitahu mereka. Kita memiliki penjelasannya di buku The Great Controversy yang begitu kaya dengan
detail. Kita perlu setia datang ke gereja, kita perlu setia dalam penatalayanan
kita, dan kita perlu terlibat dalam tugas di gereja, tugas memimpin di gereja.
Kalian tahu, siang sudah hampir habis, malam akan menjelang saat tidak ada lagi
yang bisa bekerja.
Saya berdoa kepada Tuhan agar pagi
ini, sebagai hasil dari apa yang telah kita pelajari ini akan membangunkan kita
dari tidur kita, dan kita akan menyerahkan hidup kita kepada Tuhan sepenuhnya.
