Well, folks, here we are, last session. Aah, you reacted the way you should have. This is our number 24 since Monday. You know we usually like to do 24, because we have 4 a day except for Friday where we have 5, that seems to be just the right amount of study time. You get out early, you're able to go to your home, or to your room, and review what we've studied.

 

Nah, Saudara-saudara, di sinilah kita, di sesi terakhir. Aaahh, kalian memberikan reaksi yang seharusnya. Ini adalah pelajaran ke-24 sejak hari Senin. Now what we're going to do is go to page 315 and we are going to really have to motor because we have to finish a verse by verse study of the  Sixth  Trumpet and then we have to deal with the Seventh  Trumpet. The good thing about the Seventh  Trumpet is that it's only about three pages long, so we should be able to cover it well.

So let's just do a moment of review before we get into a verse by verse study of the  Sixth  Trumpet.

 

Nah, apa yang akan kita lakukan ialah ke hal. 315 dan kita benar-benar harus ngebut karena kita harus menyelesaikan pembahasan ayat per ayat dari Terompet Keenam, kemudian masih harus membahas Terompet Ketujuh. Now what are the two things in common that Revelation 16:12-16 have with the Sixth Trumpet?

1.   A mention of what? The Euphrates. That's critically important.

2.   And secondly a mention of demonic activity, doctrines of devils, right?

Those are the two common denominators. And we're going to find that in our study of the  Sixth  Trumpet verse by verse, because up till now we have just basically dealt with the general picture, but now we're actually going to do a verse by verse study. So let's go to page 315 and we will begin at verse 13 which is the beginning of the  Sixth  Trumpet.

Revelation 9:13-21.

 

Nah, apa kedua hal yang sama-sama ada di Wahyu 16:12-16 (Malapetaka Keenam) dengan Terompet Keenam?

1.   Disebutkannya apa? Sungai Efrat. Ini penting sekali.

2.   Dan yang kedua, disebutkannya kegiatan setaniah, doktrin-doktrin setan, benar?

Itulah kedua denominator yang sama. Dan itu yang akan kita lihat dalam pelajaran kita tentang Terompet Keenam ayat demi ayat. Karena sampai sekarang pada dasarnya kita hanya melihat gambarnya secara garis besar, tetapi sekarang kita akan mempelajarinya ayat demi ayat. Jadi mari ke hal. 315 dan kita akan mulai dari ayat 13 yang adalah awal dari Terompet Keenam.

Wahyu 9:13-21.

 

 

Verse 13

“¹³ Then the  sixth  angel sounded. And I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is…” where?  “…which is before God,…”

Now, the fact that the voice comes from the four horns of the altar of incense is significant. Notice what Albert Barnes once again had to say about this. “When it is said that this was ‘before God,’ the meaning is, that it was directly before or in front of the symbol of the Divine Presence…” where?  “…in the Most Holy place.”

 

Ayat 13,

“¹³ Lalu malaikat yang keenam meniup sangkakalanya, dan aku mendengar suatu suara dari keempat tanduk mezbah emas yang…”  di mana?   “…di hadapan Allah…” 

Nah, fakta bahwa suara itu berasal dari keempat tanduk mezbah ukupan adalah signifikan. Simak apa kata Albert Barnes sekali lagi tentang hal ini.   “…Saat dikatakan ini terjadi ‘di hadapan Allah’, artinya ialah, itu tepat ada di depan atau di muka simbol Kehadiran Ilahi…”  di mana?   “…di bilik Mahakudus.” (Albert Barnes, Electronic Database on Revelation 9:13)

 

 

So is this altar oriented towards the Most Holy place during the  Sixth  Trumpet? Absolutely! It is obvious that God the Father is not the One who is speaking here from the four horns of the altar, because the altar is before God, and the voice comes from the altar. So the One  who stands ministering at the altar of incense before God presenting the prayers of the saints is none other than whom? None other than Jesus Christ, our Mediator, our Intercessor or  Representative.

 

Jadi apakah mezbah ini terposisi menghadap bilik Mahakudus selama Terompet Keenam? Tentu saja! Sudah jelas Allah Bapa bukanlah Dia yang berbicara di sini dari keempat tanduk mezbah, karena mezbah itu ada di hadapan Allah, dan suara itu datang dari mezbah. Jadi Yang berdiri sedang melayani di mezbah ukupan di hadapan Allah mempersembahkan doa-doa orang-orang suci tak lain kecuali siapa? Tak lain kecuali Yesus Kristus, Penengah kita, Perantara kita atau Wakil kita.

 

 

Now the horns of the altar of sacrifice in the Court  ~ which is not the altar that we're talking about here ~ but the horns represented God's mercy and protective power in times of crisis, when life was in danger. Is the life of God's people going to be in danger during the latter part of the  Sixth  Trumpet? Absolutely! You can read those verses there 1 Kings 1:50-51; 2:28, etc.  However, if Israel had not repented from her sin the horns were what? Broken off, believe it or not, and no mercy was extended. In the daily service blood was rubbed on the horns of the altar of sacrifice  to indicate that the confessed sins of Israel had been forgiven.

 

Nah, tanduk-tanduk mezbah kurban di Pelataran ~ bukan mezbah yang sedang dibicarakan di sini ~ tetapi tanduk-tanduk itu melambangkan kemurahan Allah dan kuasa perlindunganNya di masa krisis, ketika nyawa dalam bahaya. Apakah hidup umat Allah akan berada dalam bahaya selama bagian terakhir Terompet Keenam? Betul sekali! Kalian bisa membaca ayat-ayat itu di 1 Raja 1:50-51; 2:28, dll. Namun, jika Israel tidak bertobat dari dosanya, maka tanduk-tanduk itu diapakan? Dipatahkan (Amos 3:14-15) percaya atau tidak, dan tidak ada pengampunan yang diberikan. Dalam pelayanan sehari-hari, darah diusapkan pada tanduk-tanduk mezbah kurban (Imamat 4:24-25; Yeremia 17:1) untuk mengindikasikan bahwa dosa-dosa Israel yang diakui telah diampuni.

 

 

The altar in view in Revelation 9:13 is not the altar of sacrifice, but rather the altar of incense because it is before God, directly before the veil of the sanctuary that leads into the Most Holy place. As we have noted, the Sixth Trumpet relates to events that transpire between what time? 1844 and the close of probation.  

At which apartment is Jesus during this  Trumpet? In the Most Holy place. So significantly blood ~  this is a very important point ~ blood was rubbed on the horns of the altar of incense once a year for an atonement to cleanse the sanctuary.  So is this dealing with the Most Holy place symbolism, the Sixth  Trumpet? Absolutely! Is the door of probation still open at this point? Yeah, because the rubbing of the blood on the horns of the altar of incense once a year atones and cleanses the sanctuary. Probation will not close until all of the sins of God's people have been cleansed from the sanctuary.

So let's go then to:

 

Mezbah yang sedang dibahas di Wahyu 9:13 bukanlah mezbah kurban, melainkan mezbah ukupan, karena terletak di hadapan Allah, tepat di depan tabir Bait Suci yang membuka ke bilik Mahakudus. Seperti yang telah kita simak, Terompet Keenam berkaitan dengan peristiwa-peristiwa yang terjadi antara waktu apa? 1844 dan tutupnya pintu kasihan.

Selama periode Terompet ini, di mana Yesus berada? Di bilik Mahakudus. Maka, adalah signifikan, darah ~ ini adalah poin yang sangat penting ~ darah diusapkan pada tanduk-tanduk mezah ukupan sekali setahun untuk pendamaian guna membersihkan Bait Suci. Maka apakah ini berkaitan dengan simbol bilik Mahakudus, Terompet Keenam? Tepat sekali! Apakah pintu kasihan masih terbuka saat ini? Iya, karena mengusapkan darah pada tanduk-tanduk mezbah ukupan sekali setahun mendamaikan dan membersihkan Bait Suci. Pintu kasihan tidak akan ditutup hingga dosa semua umat Allah sudah dibersihkan dari Bait Suci.

Maka mari kita ke:

 

 

Verse 14,

“… ¹⁴ saying to the sixth  angel who had the trumpet,…” now here comes the connection with Revelation 16,  “…saying to the  sixth  angel who had the trumpet…” to do what?  “…‘Release the four angels who are…” what?  “…bound…” where?  “… at the great river Euphrates.’…”

Does that have any connection with Revelation 16:12-16, the mention of the great river Euphrates?

 

Ayat 14

“…¹⁴ berkata kepada malaikat yang keenam yang memegang sangkakala itu,…”  sekarang ini kaitannya dengan Wahyu 16, “…berkata kepada malaikat yang keenam yang memegang sangkakala itu,…”  untuk berbuat apa?   “…‘Lepaskanlah keempat malaikat yang…”  apa?   “…terikat…”  di mana?   “…di sungai besar Efrat itu…” 

Apakah ini ada kaitannya dengan Wahyu 16:12-16, disebutkannya sungai besar Efrat?

 

 

Now let's read the note. Some have confused the four angels who hold the winds in Revelation 7:1-4 with the four angels that wreak havoc on mankind in the Trumpets. However, these four angels are not good angels that hold back the winds of strife as in Revelation 7:1-4. These evil angels are waiting for God to what? To release them so they can wreak havoc on human kind, as we can see from the succeeding context, because when they are released, what happens? Oh, there's cataclysm in the world. We are not to understand that only four angels cause the devastation. The number 4 represents what? Universality or global in extent. So the  Sixth  Trumpet applies what? Globally. In other words, Satan and his angels go to the whole world to wreak havoc beginning in 1844 but especially intensifying as the close of probation approaches.

 

Nah, mari kita  baca catatannya. Ada yang tidak bisa membedakan antara keempat malaikat yang menahan angin di Wahyu 7:1-4 dengan keempat malaikat yang mendatangkan malapetaka pada manusia di Terompet-terompet. Nah, keempat malaikat ini bukanlah malaikat-malaikat yang baik yang menahan angin perseteruan seperti yang di Wahyu 7:1-4. Ini adalah malaikat-malaikat jahat yang menunggu Allah untuk apa? Untuk melepaskan mereka supaya mereka bisa mendatangkan celaka pada manusia, seperti yang bisa kita lihat dari konteks berikutnya, karena bila mereka dilepaskan, apa yang akan terjadi? Oh, akan ada bencana besar di dunia. Kita jangan mengira bahwa hanya ada 4 malaikat yang mendatangkan celaka. Angka 4 mewakili apa? Jangkauan yang  universal atau global. Jadi Terompet Keenam aplikasinya apa? Global. Dengan kata lain Setan dan malaikat-malaikatnya pergi ke seluruh dunia untuk mendatangkan bencana, mulai dari 1844, tetapi terutama menjadi semakin intensif semakin dekat tutupnya pintu kasihan.

 

 

Now let's talk about the releasing of the winds in Revelation chapter 7. Notably God has three angels, and what do those three angels do? They gather the remnant on God's side. And Satan also has three angels, right? Satan has evil spirits, by the way, they are fallen angels, right? So Satan  has three angels who gather the wicked on his side. This is the theme of the  Sixth  Trumpet, it’s the gathering of the righteous and the unrighteous. 

 

Sekarang mari kita  bicara tentang dilepaskannya angin-angin di Wahyu pasal 7. Perlu diperhatikan Allah punya tiga malaikat, dan apa yang dilakukan ketiga malaikat ini? Mereka mengumpulkan umat yang sisa ke pihak Allah. Dan Setan juga punya tiga malaikat, benar? Setan punya roh-roh jahat, nah, mereka adalah malaikat-malaikat yang sudah jatuh dalam dosa, benar? Jadi Setan punya tiga malaikat yang mengumpulkan orang-orang jahat ke pihaknya. Inilah tema Terompet Keenam, yaitu dikumpulkannya orang-orang benar dan orang-orang tidak benar.

Furthermore,  both God and Satan have a what? A fourth angel that brings a final great revival before the end.  

Is Satan going to have a great revival before the end? Yes!

Is God going to have a great revival before the end? Absolutely!

As we have mentioned before, the only other time that the name “the great river Euphrates” appears in the book of Revelation is  where? In chapter 16:12.  So there must be a relationship between the  Sixth  Trumpet and what? And the Sixth Plague, we've already talked about that, right?

 

Lebih jauh, baik Allah maupun Setan memiliki apa? Malaikat keempat yang membawa kebangunan rohani akbar yang terakhir sebelum kesudahan.

Apakah Setan akan mengadakan suatu kebangunan rohani yang akbar sebelum saat akhir? Ya!

Apakah Allah akan mengadakan suatu kebangunan rohani yang akbar sebelum saat akhir?

Tepat sekali!

Seperti yang telah kita singgung sebelumnya, satu-satunya kali nama “sungai besar Efrat” muncul lagi di kitab Wahyu itu di mana? Di pasal 16:12. Jadi tentunya harus ada kaitan antara Terompet Keenam dengan apa? Dengan Malapetaka Keenam. Kita sudah membahas itu, benar?

 

 

Some have sought to find an application of the  Sixth  Trumpet ~ this is an important point ~  to the phenomenal growth of radical Islam because of the mention of the river Euphrates. See, they interpret this as being the literal Euphrates over in Iraq. The question that we must ask is this, what hermeneutical principle or principle of interpretation allows these expositors to say that the Euphrates in Revelation 9 is referring to a literal geographical location in the Middle East, while the Euphrates of Revelation 16 refers to the multitudes of the whole world  under the control of spiritual Babylon?  So why in Revelation 9 is the Euphrates literal and why in Revelation 16 does it represent multitudes, nations, tongues, and  peoples? This is after the cross, both are after the cross, so both must be what? Both must be symbolic, that's right!

In short why are we to understand the Euphrates in Revelation 16:12 as symbolic while we understand the one in Revelation chapter 9 as literal, when both of them apply to the same period of the end time, that is the  Sixth  Trumpet and the  Sixth Plague? 

An important prophetic principle is that after the cross prophecy uses the same terminology as in the Old Testament but removes the geographical limitations. So in the New Testament what is Israel? Is Israel literal, literally limited to the literal Jews in the Middle East? No! What is Israel today? It's “those who are Christ's are Abraham's seeds” (Gal. 3:29). So Israel is global, that's the principle.

 

Ada yang berusaha mengaplikasikan Terompet Keenam ~ ini adalah poin yang penting ~ kepada pertumbuhan fenomenal Islam radikal karena disebutnya sungai Efrat. Lihat, mereka menafsirkan ini sebagai sungai Efrat yang literal yang ada di Irak. Pertanyaan yang harus kita ajukan ialah, prinsip hermeneutika atau prinsip penafsiran apa yang mengizinkan ekspositor-ekspositor ini berkata bahwa sungai Efrat di Wahyu 9 mengacu kepada suatu lokasi geografis di Timur Tengah, sementara sungai Efrat di Wahyu 16 mengacu kepada banyak orang di seluruh dunia di bawah kendali Babilon spiritual? Jadi mengapa di Wahyu 9 Efrat itu literal dan mengapa di Wahyu 16 itu melambangkan orang banyak, bangsa-bangsa, bahasa-bahasa, dan kaum-kaum? Ini terjadi setelah salib, kedua-duanya terjadi setelah salib, maka seharusnya keduanya itu apa? Keduanya haruslah simbolis, betul!

Singkatnya, mengapa kita harus menerima Efrat di Wahyu 16:12 sebagai simbolis sementara kita menerima yang di Wahyu 9 sebagai literal, sementara kedua-duanya berlaku untuk periode waktu yang sama yaitu akhir masa, di Terompet Keenam dan Malapetaka Keenam?

Prinsip nubuatan yang penting ialah setelah salib, nubuatan memakai terminologi yang sama dengan yang ada di masa Perjanjian Lama tetapi menyingkirkan batasan geografisnya. Maka di Perjanjian Baru, Israel itu apa? Apakah Israel literal, secara literal terbatas pada Yahudi literal di Timur Tengah? Tidak! Siapa Israel sekarang? Ialah “mereka yang adalah milik Kristus itulah benih Abraham” (Gal. 3:29). Jadi Israel itu global. Itulah prinsipnya.

 

 

Now going on to another point. If these evil angels are released, then in the past they must have been under what? Under restraint. What is it that restrained these angels from manifesting their destructive power? The answer is in Revelation 12:16. What happened? What helped the woman? The earth helped the woman. And furthermore the  papacy received a deadly wound in 1798, and the civil governments of the world have kept that wound in place, although it's healing very quickly I might say.

However, when the Beast from the earth gives civil power back to the papacy,  what happens with the wound? The wound heals. Then what is going to happen? The restraint will be removed and Satan will manifest his final display of power. Are you following this?

 

Sekarang kita ke poin yang lain. Jika malaikat-malaikat jahat ini dilepaskan, maka sebelumnya tentunya mereka harus di bawah apa? Di bawah pengekangan. Apa yang mengekang malaikat-malaikat itu dari memanifestasikan kekuatan penghancuran mereka? Jawabannya ada di Wahyu 12:16. Apa yang terjadi? Apa yang menolong perempuan itu? Bumi menolong perempuan itu. Lagi pula Kepausan menerima luka yang mematikan di 1798, dan pemerintahan-pemerintahan sipil dunia menahan luka  tersebut di tempatnya, walaupun bisa saya katakan, saat ini luka tersebut sedang pulih secara cepat.

Namun, ketika Binatang yang keluar dari bumi memberikan kekuatan sipil kembali kepada Kepausan, apa yang terjadi dengan luka itu? Luka itu pulih. Lalu apa yang akan terjadi? Pengekangnya akan dilepas dan Setan akan memanifestasikan pertunjukan terakhir dari kekuatannya. Apakah kalian mengikuti ini?

 

 

In this context we need to understand the meaning of 2 Thessalonians 2. When the civil power of the Roman Empire ruled, the papacy was under what? Restraint, because there was already a ruler, the Roman Empire. However, when the civil power of Rome was removed by the barbarians, what happened? The papacy was released or liberated to wreak havoc during the Middle Ages under the leadership of whom? Of Satan, the dragon.

 

Dalam konteks ini kita perlu memahami arti 2 Tesalonika 2. Ketika kekuasaan sipil kekaisaran Roma berkuasa, Kepausan ada di bawah apa? Pengekangan, karena di sana sudah ada seorang penguasa yaitu kekaisaran Roma. Namun, ketika kekuasaan sipil Roma disingkirkan oleh bangsa-bangsa barbar, apa yang terjadi? Kepausan dimerdekakan atau dibebaskan untuk mendatangkan bencana selama Abad Pertengahan di bawah kepemimpinan siapa? Setan, si naga.

Notice the interesting terminology that Cardinal Henry Edward Manning uses to describe the removal of the restraints on the papacy by the civil power, and I added this in brackets because this is the context.

[When the barbarians invaded the Roman Empire], “The pontiffs found themselves  alone, the sole fountains of order, peace, law, and safety. And from the hour of this providential liberation, when, by a divine intervention…” what fell off of the hands of the Pope? When  “…the  chains fell off from the hands of the successor of St. Peter…” so was he bound before this? Yes!  “…as once before from his own, no sovereign has ever reigned in Rome except the Vicar of Jesus Christ.”

So could the papacy begin to rule if the Roman Empire was still ruling? No. What needed to happen? The Roman Empire had to be removed so that the papacy could ascend the power.  So when the restraint was removed the papacy was liberated or was freed. Are you with me?

 

Simak terminologi yang menarik yang dipakai Cardinal Henry Edward Manning untuk menggambarkan disingkirkannya pengekang pada Kepausan oleh kekuatan sipil, dan saya menambahkan ini dalam kurung karena inilah konteksnya.

[Ketika bangsa-bangsa barbar menginvasi kekaisaran Roma] “Para paus menyadari bahwa mereka sekarang berdiri sendiri, satu-satunya sumber keteraturan, kedamaian, ketertiban dan keamanan. Dan sejak saat pembebasan yang sudah ditakdirkan itu, ketika oleh campur tangan Ilahi…”  apa yang terlepas dari tangan Paus? Ketika   “…belenggu itu terlepas dari tangan penerus St. Petrus…” jadi apakah sebelumnya dia terbelenggu? Ya!   “…sebagaimana hal yang sama terjadi pada St. Petrus ~ tak ada lagi raja yang pernah memerintah di Roma selain Vikar Yesus Kristus.” (Henry Edward Manning,  The Temporal Power of The Vicar of Jesus Christ, Preface, pp. xxviii, xxix. London: Burns and Lambert, 1862).

Jadi bisakah Kepausan mulai berkuasa jika kekaisaran Roma masih berkuasa? Tidak. Apa yang harus terjadi? Kekaisaran Roma harus disingkirkan supaya Kepausan bisa naik takhta. Maka ketika pengekangnya disingkirkan, Kepausan dimerdekakan atau dibebaskan. Apakah kalian mengikuti saya?

 

 

Now Manning added this, “It [the papacy] waited until such a time as God should break its  bonds asunder…” so what was the papacy while the empire ruled? It was bound but it waited until such a time as God should break its bonds asunder “…and should…”  do what?   “…liberate it from subjection to civil powers, and enthrone it in the possession of a temporal sovereignty of its own.”  

 

Nah, Manning menambahkan ini,   “…Kepausan menunggu hingga tiba saatnya Allah akan mematahkan belenggunya…”  jadi bagaimana Kepausan sementara kekaisaran (Roma) berkuasa? Dia terbelenggu, tetapi dia menunggu hingga tiba saatnya Allah akan mematahkan belenggunya   “…dan akan…”  apa?   “…memerdekakannya  dari ketaklukannya kepada kekuasaan sipil dan menempatkannya di atas takhta yang memiliki kedaulatan duniawi  miliknya sendiri.” (Henry Edward Manning,  The Temporal Power of the Vicar of Jesus Christ (London: Burns & Lambert, second edition, 1862, pp. 11-13).

 

 

However, the French and American revolutions place the restraints on the papacy once more. Democratic governments led by the founding principles of the United States flourished in the Western world. The papacy was under restraint or has been under restraint for how long? For over 200 years. Not totally, we noticed that, that the Devil is still manifesting his power during the  Sixth  Trumpet, right? But he's not allowed to have full power and control. So the papacy has been under restraint for over 200 years, why? Because the civil powers of the world have not allowed the papacy to recover its lost power.

 

Namun, revolusi Perancis dan revolusi Amerika menempatkan belenggu-belenggu sekali lagi pada Kepausan. Pemerintahan demokratis yang diawali oleh prinsip-prinsip terbentuknya negara Amerika Serikat menjamur di dunia Barat. Kepausan ada di bawah pengekangan atau telah berada di bawah pengekangan selama berapa lama? 200 tahun lebih. Tidak seluruhnya, kita sudah menyimak bahwa Iblis masih memanifestasikan kekuatannya selama Terompet Keenam, benar? Tetapi dia tidak diizinkan memiliki kekuatan dan kendali penuh. Jadi Kepausan sudah berada di bawah pengekangan selama 200 tahun lebih, mengapa? Karena kekuasaan-kekuasaan sipil dunia tidak mengizinkan Kepausan mendapatkan kembali kuasanya yang hilang.

 

 

Notice these words that Malachi Martin wrote. Have you ever heard of Malachi Martin? He wrote the famous book, The Keys of This Blood. He was a Jesuit. He resigned from the Jesuit Order because he didn't like the direction that they were going. In fact our next four newsletter articles at Secrets Unsealed, is going to be on the issue of the Jesuits, what the Jesuits are doing, not infiltrating the Adventist Church but infiltrating their own church, the Roman Catholic Church. Now they're doing some amazing things. But he was a Jesuit and he wrote the following, “[For] fifteen hundred years and more, Rome…”  he's talking about the papacy “…Rome had kept as strong a hand as possible in each local community around the wide world….” what had the papacy done? It had kept as strong a hand as possible in each local community around the world, and now notice what he states,  “ . . . By and large, and admitting some exceptions, that had been the Roman view…”   what had been the Roman view? Rome keeping as strong a hand as possible in each local community around the wide world, that's the Roman view, right? Now notice what about the last 200 years? He's writing by the way in 1986, this is in the 20th century, so he says, “…By and large, and admitting some exceptions, that had been the Roman view until  two hundred years of…” what?   “…inactivity…” What does inactivity mean? Is the papacy active like it was in the past? So is it restrained? Is it going to be loosed? That's what the  Sixth  Trumpet is talking about. So it says,  “…until  two hundred years of inactivity had been imposed upon the papacy by…” what?  “…by the major secular powers of the world.”

It started with France and it continued with all of the secular powers of the world, of the Western world, because they no longer allowed the church to use the state to accomplish its purposes.

 

Simak kata-kata ini yang ditulis Malachi Martin. Pernahkah kalian mendengar tentang Malachi Martin? Dia menulis buku yang terkenal The Keys of This Blood. Dia seorang Jesuit, dia mundur dari Ordo Jesuit karena dia tidak suka arah yang mereka tuju. Ketahuilah empat buletin Secrets Unsealed kita yang berikut akan membahas isu Jesuit, apa yang mereka lakukan, bukan menginfiltrasi gereja Advent tetapi menginfiltrasi gereja mereka sendiri, gereja Roma Katolik. Dimulai oleh Perancis dan diikuti oleh semua kekuasaan sekuler dunia Barat, karena mereka tidak lagi mengizinkan gereja memakai negara untuk mencapai tujuannya.

 

 

However, is that going to change? Is the restraint going to be taken away? Of course. Now if the restraint means that the civil powers no longer supported the papacy what would it be to release the papacy from its restraint? It would be that the civil powers once more would what? Would lend their support to the papacy.  The sword that was taken away from the papacy now is returned to the papacy. What nation is going to do that? The United States of America.

Akan memberikan dukungan mereka kepada Kepausan. Pedang yang telah diambil dari Kepausan sekarang akan dikembalikan kepada Kepausan. Bangsa mana yang akan berbuat itu? Amerika Serikat.

 

 

Listen to this statement Great Controversy 564,  Ellen White wrote, “Let the  restraints now imposed by…” what? Is the papacy somewhat restrained, not totally but is the papacy somewhat restrained? Yes! Why? Who imposes the restraint?  “…Let the  restraints now imposed by secular governments be…” what?  “…removed…” is that letting the system loose? Yes! “…removed and Rome be…” what?  “…reinstated…”  by the way you can't be reinstated unless you were once stated, and “…be reinstated in her former power, and there would speedily be a…” what?  “…a revival of her tyranny and persecution.”

Is that the  Sixth  Trumpet? Absolutely!

 

Dengarkan pernyataan ini, Great Controversy hal. 564, Ellen White menulis, “Bilamana pengekangan sekarang yang dipaksakan oleh…”  apa? Apakah Kepausan sedikit banyak terkekang, tidak seluruhnya, tetapi apakah Kepausan sedikit banyak terkekang? Ya! Mengapa? Siapa yang mengenakan pengekangan itu?   “…Bilamana pengekangan sekarang yang dipaksakan oleh pemerintahan-pemerintahan sekuler…”  diapakan?   “…disingkirkan…”  apakah itu membiarkan sistem ini bebas? Ya!   “…disingkirkan,  dan Roma…”  diapakan?   “…dikembalikan…”  nah, kamu tidak bisa dikembalikan kalau sebelumnya kamu tidak pernah ada di sana, dan   “…dikembalikan  ke kekuasaannya yang sebelumnya, akan terjadi suatu…”  apa?   “…suatu kebangkitan yang cepat dari tiraninya dan penganiayaannya.”

Apakah ini Terompet Keenam? Tepat sekali!

 

 

The  Sixth  Trumpet ~ we’re at the top of page 319 ~ the  Sixth  Trumpet is primarily pointing to this period when the papacy, apostate Protestantism, and the civil rulers ~ remember the threefold union that we talked about in Revelation chapter 16? ~ will do ~ will do what? Unite to oppress God's people. However, the process of gathering these powers against God's people began in the events leading up to what? To 1844. It cannot be over stressed that modern spiritualism had its origin with the Fox sisters in 1848. And Ellen White  said this was the beginning of something that would appear to become what? Global. In other words, the  Sixth  Trumpet intensifies as time goes by.

 

Terompet Keenam ~ kita di bagian atas hal. 319 ~ Terompet Keenam terutama merujuk ke periode ini ketika Kepausan, Protestanisme murtad, dan penguasa-penguasa sekuler ~ ingat persekutuan tiga serangkai yang kita bicarakan di Wahyu pasal 16? ~ akan ~ akan berbuat apa? Bersatu untuk menindas umat Allah. Namun, proses penggalangan ketiga kekuatan musuh umat Allah ini dimulai dari peristiwa-peristwa yang menuntun ke apa? Ke 1844. Tidak terlalu berlebihan kalau dikatakan spiritualisme modern asal usulnya dari  Fox bersaudara di 1848. Dan Ellen White berkata ini merupakan awal dari sesuatu yang akan tampil menjadi apa? Global. Dengan kata lain, Terompet Keenam menjadi semakin intensif dengan berlalunya waktu.

 

 

Verse 15

Now the number four in the Bible ~  let's go to verse 15, “ ¹⁵ So the four angels, who had been prepared for the hour, and day, and month, and year, were released to kill a third of mankind.” 

Now what is meant by “hour, day, month, and year”? Well, let's read the note. The number 4 in the Bible denotes what? Universality or global extension. As we have noted, Revelation 16:14 tells us that the spirits of devils will gather the entire world in rebellion against God.

 

Ayat 15

Nah, angka 4 di Alkitab ~ mari kita ke ayat 15 ~ “¹⁵ Maka keempat malaikat, yang telah disiapkan bagi jam, dan hari, dan bulan, dan tahun, dilepaskan untuk membunuh sepertiga manusia.”

Nah apa yang dimaksud dengan “jam, hari, bulan, tahun”? Nah, mari kita baca catatannya. Angka 4 di Alkitab melambangkan apa? Keuniversalan atau pencapaian global. Seperti yang telah kita simak, Wahyu 16:14 memberitahu kita bahwa roh-roh iblis akan menggalang seluruh dunia dalam pemberontakan melawan Allah.    

 

 

What is the meaning of the expression: the hour, the day, the month, and the year?  A careful study of Revelation indicates that:

·       the “hour” is the hour of God's what? the hour of God's judgment. When does that begin? In 1844.

·       other parts of Scripture indicate that the “day” refers to what? When did the Day of Atonement take place according to the Old Testament? The 10^th day.

·       Which month? The 7^th month, the month of Tishri,

·       and what is the year? 1844.

So when does the Sixth Trumpet especially begin? It begins at the hour of God's judgment, the 22nd of October, that is the day, the month of October, of what year? Of the year 1844.

 

Apa artinya ungkapan: jam-hari-bulan-tahun? Suatu pembelajaran Wahyu yang teliti mengindikasikan bahwa:

·       “jam”nya ialah jam apa Allah? Jam penghakiman Allah. Kapan ini dimulai? 1844.

·       Bagian lain dari Kitab Suci mengindikasikan bahwa “hari” mengacu kepada apa? Kapan Hari Pendamaian terjadi menurut Perjanjian Lama? Hari ke-10.

·       Bulan berapa? Bulan ke-7, bulan Tisri.

·       Dan tahun berapa? 1844.

Maka kapan Terompet Keenam terutama dimulai? Pada jam penghakiman Allah, 22 Oktober, itulah harinya dan bulannya Oktober, tahun berapa? Tahun 1844.

 

 

Now the commentary by Jamieson, Fausset, and Brown has this interesting comment. You see, it doesn't say, it doesn't really say: “the hour, the day, the month, and the year”, in the Greek it says; “the hour-day-month-and-year”. Are you understanding the difference?

Now, how important is that? In Greek the article τὴν (tēn) which is the article “the” that appears before the word “the hour” τὴν (tēn) ὥραν (hōran), the only place where it appears. So, “The article τὴν (tēn), once only before all the periods, implies that the hour in the day, and the day in the month, and the month in the year, and the year itself, had been definitely fixed  by  God.” 

This verse is not describing the final and total destruction of the wicked after the close of probation, at the end of the time of trouble, why? Because this army of demons is only able to destroy what? A third of humanity. So is probation still open during this period? Yes!

Let's go to verse 16.

 

Nah, dari Jamieson, Fausset, dan Brown ada komentar yang menarik ini. Lihat, ayat itu sebenarnya tidak berkata, “jam itu, hari itu, bulan itu, dan tahun itu”. Dalam bahasa Greekanya dikatakan, “jam-hari-bulan-dan-tahun itu”. Apakah kalian memahami bedanya?

Nah, seberapa pentingnyakah itu? Ayat ini tidak menggambarkan peghancuran total dan terakhir orang-orang jahat setelah tutupnya pintu kasihan pada akhir Masa Kesukaran Besar, mengapa? Karena pasukan setan ini hanya bisa menghancurkan apa? Sepertiga kemanusiaan. Jadi apakah pintu kasihan masih terbuka selama periode itu? Ya!

Mari kita ke ayat 16.

Verse 16

“ ¹⁶ Now the number of the army of the horsemen was…”  how many?  “…two hundred million…” literally it says “twice ten thousand times ten thousand”, so that's the way it literally says in Greek, “twice ten  thousand times ten thousand”: two hundred million. And notice what he says,  “…I heard the…” what?  “…the number of them…” 

Now let's read the note. The number of the enemy is what? Huge in comparison to the hundred and forty four thousand of Revelation 7:4. These are the only two verses in Revelation where John uses the expression “I heard the number”, so must they be related? Absolutely! So they must be related in some way.

·       Revelation 7:4 is transpiring during the Sixth Seal, right? It's the sealing. So probation hasn't closed while people are being sealed.

·       And Revelation 9:16 is occurring during the period of the what? Of the Sixth  Trumpet.

 

Ayat 16

“¹⁶ Nah bilangan tentara berkuda itu ialah…”  berapa?  “…dua ratus juta…”  secara literal dikatakan “dua kali sepuluh ribu kali sepuluh ribu”, jadi itulah cara harafiahya dalam bahasa Greeka, 2 x 10’000 x 10’000: dua ratus juta. Dan simak apa kata Yohanes, “…aku mendengar…”  apa? “…bilangan mereka…” 

Sekarang mari kita baca catatannya. Bilangan musuh itu bagaimana? Besar sekali dibandingkan yang 144’000 di Wahyu 7:4. Hanya kedua ayat ini di Wahyu di mana Yohanes memakai ungkapan  “…aku mendengar bilangan…”  jadi haruskah mereka berkaitan? Tentu saja! Jadi mereka pasti berkaitan dalam satu atau lain hal.

·       Wahyu 7:4 terjadi di masa Meterai Keenam, benar? Itu pemeteraian. Jadi pintu kasihan belum tutup sementara orang-orang sedang dimeteraikan.

·       Dan Wahyu 9:16 terjadi selama periode apa? Terompet Keenam.

 

 

Notice how Ellen White contrast the number of God's followers with those of Satan’s. “The remnant church will be brought into great trial and distress. Those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus, will feel the ire of the dragon and his hosts. Satan…” what?  “…numbers the world as his subjects…”  denoted by what number? 200 million, “…he has gained control of the apostate churches; but here is a…” what?  “…a little company that are resisting his supremacy. If he could blot them from the earth, his  triumph would be…” what?  “…his triumph would be complete.”

So it's a contrast between a huge army and a small remnant. And you would think that who would win? The huge army of 200 million.

Now notice verse 17.

 

Simak bagaimana Ellen White membandingkan bilangan pengikut Allah dengan mereka yang milik Setan. “…Gereja umat yang sisa akan dihadapkan pada pencobaan berat dan penderitaan. Mereka yang memelihara perintah-perintah Allah dan iman Yesus akan merasakan amarah naga dan balatentaranya. Setan…”  apa?   “…menghitung dunia sebagai rakyatnya…”  yang dilambangkan dengan angka apa? 200 juta, “…Dia telah berhasil mengendalikan gereja-gereja murtad, tetapi di sini ada…”  apa?   “…satu kelompok kecil yang tidak mau tunduk pada kekuasaannya. Jika dia bisa melenyapkan mereka dari muka bumi, kemenangannya akan…”  apa?   “…kemenangannya akan sempurna.” (9 T hal. 231)

Jadi ini kontras antara pasukan yang besar dengan kelompok kecil yang tersisa. Dan seharusnya orang berpikir siapa yang akan menang? Pastilah tentara besar yang 200 juta.

Sekarang simak ayat 17.

 

 

Verse 17

“ ¹⁷ And thus I saw the horses in the vision: those who sat on them…” so the horses have what? Riders. Where do these riders come from? Well, they actually come from hell.  Is there really?  Well, let's read,  “… And thus I saw the horses in the vision: those who sat on them had breastplates of…” what?  “…fiery red, hyacinth blue…” what is red and blue? Fire, right? Can fire look blue? Absolutely! And what?  “… and sulfur yellow; and the heads of the horses were like the heads of…” what?  “…lions…” are the Devil’s angels described as lions by the Spirit of Prophecy? Is Satan the lion? Who is the leader of this host? Satan is the leader of this host. So it says,  “… And thus I saw the horses in the vision: those who sat on them had breastplates of fiery red, hyacinth blue, and sulfur yellow; and the heads of the horses were like the heads of lions; and out of their mouths came…” what?  “…fire, smoke, and brimstone…” 

This is an army out of what? Out of hell. Is this speaking about a good army or a bad army? This is talking about a bad army. And who's the leader of this army? Satan. Is it a huge army, much larger than God's people? Absolutely!  This army clearly rises figuratively from hell.  These are the same ~ listen carefully ~ these are the same what? Spirits of demons in Revelation 16:14. Are you catching the connection? The same spirits of demons in Revelation 16:14 that God releases to do what? To gather the kings of the earth and the whole world against God's people.

They are the same demons that the Fourth Angel’s Message refers to in Revelation 18:2-3.

 

Ayat 17

“¹⁷ Dan demikianlah aku melihat kuda-kuda dalam penglihatan ini: mereka yang menungganginya…”  jadi kuda-kuda itu punya apa? Penunggang. Dari mana penunggang-penunggang ini datang? Nah, mereka sesungguhnya keluar dari “neraka”. Benarkah? Nah, mari kita baca, “…Dan demikianlah aku melihat kuda-kuda dalam penglihatan ini: mereka yang menungganginya memakai baju zirah…”  apa?   “…merah api, biru bunga…”  merah dan biru itu warna apa? Api, benar? Bisakah api berwarna biru? Tentu saja! Dan apa?   “…dan kuning belerang; dan kepala kuda-kuda itu seperti kepala…”  apa?  “…singa…”  apakah malaikat-malaikat Iblis digambarkan sebagai singa-singa oleh Roh Nubuat? Apakah Setan itu singa? Siapa pemimpin balatentara ini? Setan pemimpin balatentara ini. Maka dikatakan,   “…¹⁷ Dan demikianlah aku melihat kuda-kuda dalam penglihatan ini: mereka yang menungganginya memakai baju zirah merah api, biru bunga, dan kuning belerang; dan kepala kuda-kuda itu seperti kepala…” apa? “…singa, dan dari mulut mereka keluar…” apa?  “…api, asap, dan belerang…” 

Ini adalah pasukan yang keluar dari mana? Dari “neraka”. Apakah ini bicara tentang pasukan yang baik atau jahat? Ini bicara tentang pasukan yang jahat. Dan siapa pemimpin pasukan ini? Setan. Apakah ini pasukan yang besar, jauh lebih besar daripada umat Allah? Betul sekali! Pasukan ini secara simbolis jelas muncul dari neraka. Ini adalah pasukan yang sama ~ dengarkan baik-baik ~ mereka ini adalah apa yang sama? roh-roh iblis yang sama di Wahyu 16:14. Apakah kalian menangkap kaitannya? roh-roh iblis Wahyu 16:14  yang sama yang dilepaskan Allah untuk apa? Untuk menggalang raja-raja bumi dan seluruh dunia sebagai musuh umat Allah. Mereka adalah setan-setan yang sama yang disebut Pekabaran Malaikat Keempat di Wahyu 18:2-3.

 

 

Let's go there for a moment to Revelation 18:2-3. What is Babylon going to be like at the end of time? Well, let's read about it. Revelation chapter 18, and this is speaking about the final fall of Babylon. It says in verse 1, “¹ After these things I saw another angel coming down from heaven, having great authority, and the earth was illuminated with his glory…” is this a loud cry? What is the purpose of the loud cry? To gather God's people in God's side, right? There's a group that is already gathered, those who proclaim the loud cry, but they have to call others to join God's forces. Verse 2,  “…² And he cried mightily with a loud voice, saying, ‘Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen,…” and what is the characteristic of Babylon now, at this point? “…and has become a dwelling place of demons,…”  is that the  Sixth  Trumpet? Is that Revelation chapter 16:12-16? Yes! So it says, “…and has become a dwelling place of demons, a prison for every…” what?  “…foul spirit, and…” what else?  “…and a cage for every unclean and hated bird!...”  what do unclean birds represent? All you have to do is go to the parable of the sower where the birds came and plucked up the seed and when Jesus explained that He said, the birds represent Satan, who comes and takes away the seed.

 

Mari kita ke sana sebentar. Wahyu 18:2-3. Babilon akan seperti apa pada akhir masa? Nah, mari kita  baca tentangnya. Wahyu 18, dan ini bicara tentang kejatuhan terakhir Babilon. Dikatakan di ayat 1, “¹ Setelah hal-hal itu, aku melihat seorang malaikat lain turun dari sorga. Ia mempunyai kekuasaan besar dan bumi menjadi terang oleh kemuliaannya…”  inikah seruan nyaring itu? Apa tujuan seruan nyaring? Untuk mengumpulkan umat Allah ke pihak Allah, benar? Sudah ada satu kelompok yang terkumpul, mereka yang menyampaikan seruan nyaring itu, tetapi mereka harus memanggil yang lain untuk bergabung dengan tentara Allah. Ayat 2, “…² Dan ia berseru dengan suara yang kuat, katanya: ‘Sudah roboh, sudah roboh Babel yang besar itu…”  dan pada saat itu bagaimana kondisi Babilon?   “…dan telah menjadi tempat kediaman roh-roh jahat, penjara bagi setiap…”  apa?   “…roh najis dan…”  apa lagi?   “…dan sebuah kandang untuk setiap  burung yang najis dan yang dibenci…” burung-burung najis melambangkan apa? Kalian hanya perlu pergi ke perumpamaan penabur di mana burung-burung datang dan mencabuti benih , dan ketika Yesus menjelaskan, Dia berkata burung-burung melambangkan Setan yang datang dan mengambil benihnya.

 

 

So these three phrases are complementary, in other words, it's the same thing to say

·       dwelling place of demons,

·       prison for every foul spirit, and

·       cage for every unclean and hated bird.

What is the condition of Babylon going to be at the very end of this Sixth Trumpet? It's going to be filled with what? With demons, according to this. Is this what we're finding in the  Sixth  Trumpet? An army of demons from hell, so to speak? Absolutely!

 

Jadi ketiga ungkapan ini saling melengkapi, dengan kata lain, sama saja mengatakan:

·       tempat tinggal setan-setan,

·       penjara bagi setiap roh najis, dan

·       kandang bagi setiap burung najis dan dibenci.

Bagaimana kondisi Babilon pada bagian paling akhir Terompet Keenam ini? Dia akan dipenuhi oleh apa? Oleh setan-setan menurut ini. Inikah yang kita dapati di Terompet Keenam? Suatu pasukan setan dari neraka, katakanlah demikian? Betul sekali.

 

Let's continue, here clearly we have here a portrait of Satan and the wicked that are always described in the context of the lake of fire. The fire and smoke coming out of the mouths of the horses (because the horses are breathing smoke, right?) remind us of the story of what creature? Leviathan  ~ I wish I had an hour to talk about Leviathan. 

The story of Leviathan in the book of Job where he has smoke and fire coming out of his mouth, and what does Leviathan represent? He represents Satan because in Isaiah 27:1 Leviathan is called the serpent and the dragon, and in Job chapter 1 he is called Satan. So does Leviathan have the same names that Satan has in the book of Revelation? Absolutely!

So who is the leader of this army that's going to actually go into battle against whom? Against the little remnant. So it says clearly, we have here a portrait of Satan and the wicked that are always described in the context of the lake of fire. The fire and smoke coming out of the mouths of the horses remind us of the story of Leviathan in the book of Job where he has smoke and fire coming out of his mouth. Elsewhere in the Bible identifies Leviathan as the dragon, the ancient serpent, the Devil, and Satan.

 

Mari kita lanjutkan, sangat jelas di sini kita punya gambaran Setan dan orang-orang jahat yang selalu digambarkan dalam konteks lautan api. Api dan asap yang keluar dari mulut-mulut kuda-kuda (karena kuda-kuda itu mengeluarkan nafas asap, benar?) mengingatkan kita tentang cerita makhluk apa? Lewiatan ~ sayang saya tidak punya waktu satu jam untuk membahas Lewiathan.

Kisah Lewiatan, di kitab Ayub di mana ada asap dan api keluar dari mulutnya, Lewiatan ini melambangkan apa? Dia melambangkan Setan karena di Yesaya 27:1 Lewiatan disebut ular dan naga, dan di Ayub pasal 1 dia disebut Setan. Jadi apakah Lewiatan punya nama-nama yang sama yang dipunyai Setan di kitab Wahyu? Tentu saja!

Jadi siapa pemimpin pasukan ini yang akan benar-benar memerangi siapa? Memerangi umat yang sisa yang sedikit. Maka dikatakan dengan jelas, kita punya gambaran Setan dan orang-orang jahat yang selalu dideskripsikan dalam konteks lautan api. Api dan asap keluar dari mulut-mulut kuda-kuda mengingatkan kita tentang kisah Lewiatan di kitab Ayub di mana ada asap dan api keluar dari mulutnya (Ayub 41:19-21, 31-34). Di tempat lain Alkitab mengidentifikasi Lewiatan sebagai naga, ular tua, Iblis, dan Setan (Yesaya 27:1; Wahyu 12:7-9).

 

 

Now, are they going to be able to gather all of the wicked against God's people? Are they able to gather all of humanity against God's people? No! Is this total and overwhelming conquering, there's not one faithful person left? No, there will be lots of faithful people left, right? So notice how it is expressed in verse 18.

 

Nah, apakah mereka akan berhasil mengumpulkan semua orang jahat untuk melawan umat Allah? Apakah mereka akan berhasil menggalang seluruh kemanusiaan untuk melawan umat Allah? Tidak! Apakah ini penaklukan yang total dan menyeluruh, tidak ada satu orang pun yang setia yang tersisa? Tidak, masih akan ada banyak orang yang setia yang tersisa, benar? Jadi simak bagaimana ini digambarkan di ayat 18.

 

 

Verse 18

“… ¹⁸ By these three plagues a third of mankind was killed—by…” what?  “…by the fire, and the smoke, and the brimstone which came out of their…” what?  “…mouths…” is this symbolic language? We’re not to look for 200 million soldiers sitting on horses that are coming directly out of hell, and “whooooo” they're breathing smoke, and fire, and brimstone. This is the description of an army from hell. Fire and brimstone are identified with Satan in chapter 20, right? He is the one with his angels that are found there.

Notice that what comes out of the mouth is what what kills the wicked. Did we find in Revelation chapter 16 that out of the mouth of the dragon, the Beast, and the false prophet goes what? Evil spirits like frogs.  And what is the purpose? To go to the whole world and to win them over to whose side? To Satan's side.

Now let's go to verse 19.

 

Ayat 18

“…¹⁸ Oleh ketiga malapetaka ini sepertiga dari umat manusia dibunuh oleh…”  apa?   “…oleh api, dan asap, dan belerang, yang keluar dari…”  apa? “…mulut mereka…”  apakah ini bahasa simbolis? Kita jangan berharap bertemu 200 juta tentara naik kuda yang datang langsung dari neraka dan “whoooo” meniupkan asap, dan api, dan belerang. Ini adalah deskripsi suatu pasukan dari neraka. Api dan belerang itu identik dengan Setan di pasal 20, benar? Dialah yang ditemukan di sana bersama dengan malaikat-malaikatnya.

Simak apa yang keluar dari mulut ialah apa yang membunuh yang jahat. Apakah di Wahyu 16 kita mendapatkan dari mulut naga, Binatang, dan nabi palsu keluar apa? Roh-roh jahat seperti katak. Dan tujuannya apa? Pergi ke seluruh dunia untuk memenangkan mereka ke pihak siapa? Ke pihak Setan.

Sekarang mari ke ayat 19.

 

 

Verse 19

“¹⁹ For their power is in their…” what? Was there an emphasis on the mouth in Revelation 16:13-14? Yes!  “…For their power is in their mouth and in their…” what?  “…their tails…”  what does the tail represent? Lies, “…for their tails are like…” what?  They have wiggly tails like serpents. So where's this army coming from? What does this army represent? They are spirits of devils that are doing their work during the period of the  Sixth  Trumpet. So it says, “…¹⁹ For their power is in their mouth and in their tails; for their tails are like serpents, having heads; and with them they do…” what?  “…they do harm…” How does the Devil harm people? By what comes out of his mouth. And what is it that comes out of his mouth? Lies, that's right. 

 

Ayat 19

“¹⁹ Sebab kuasa mereka ada  di…”  mana? Apakah ada penekanan pada mulut di Wahyu 16:13-14? Ya!  “…Sebab kuasa mereka ada di mulut mereka dan di…”  mana?  “…ekor mereka…” ekor melambangkan apa? Kebohongan-kebohongan, “…sebab ekor mereka sama seperti…”  apa? Mereka punya ekor yang bergerak-gerak seperti ular. Jadi pasukan ini datang dari mana? Pasukan ini melambangkan apa? Mereka adalah roh-roh iblis yang melakukan pekerjaan mereka selama masa Terompet Keenam. Maka dikatakan, “…Sebab kuasa mereka ada di mulut mereka dan di ekor mereka, sebab ekor mereka sama seperti  ular, yang mempunyai kepala, dan dengan itu mereka bikin…” apa? “…mereka bikin  celaka…”  Bagaimana Iblis mencelakakan manusia? Dengan apa yang keluar dari mulutnya. Dan apakah yang keluar dari mulutnya? Kebohongan-kebohongan, tepat sekali.

 

 

The horses have mouths like what? Like lions. Elsewhere in the Bible Babylon is portrayed as a devouring lion, as is its king Nebuchadnezzar. Satan is also described as a ravenous lion and Ellen White has a statement where she says that Satan's angels are also like lions, we read that in a previous presentation.

 

Kuda-kuda punya mulut seperti apa? Seperti singa. Di tempat lain di Alkitab, Babilon digambarkan sebagai singa pelahap, sebagaimana rajanya Nebukadnezar. Setan juga digambarkan sebagai singa kelaparan dan Ellen White punya pernyataan di mana dia mengtakan bahwa malaikat-malaikat Setan juga seperti singa-singa, kita sudah membaca itu di presentasi sebelumnya.

 

 

Revelation 16:13-14 clarify that the false doctrines of the three counterfeit angels come out of the mouth, and they gather the wicked for the final battle against God. The tail is a symbol of lies. Notice that the mouth is where? In the tail, that’s significant. So the tail is lies, and what is the mouth speaking? Lies. Does that have any relationship with Revelation 16 the passage that we studied? Absolutely!

 

Wahyu 16:13-14 menjelaskan bahwa doktrin-doktrin palsu dari ketiga malaikat palsu keluar dari mulut, dan mereka menggalang orang-orang jahat untuk peperangan terakhir melawan Allah. Ekornya ialah simbol kebohongan. Simak, mulutnya ada di mana? Di ekor, itu signifikan. Jadi ekornya itu kebohongan-kebohongan, dan apa yang diucapkan mulutnya? Kebohongan-kebohongan. Apakah itu ada kaitannya dengan Wahyu 16, ayat-ayat yang telah kita pelajari? Tentu saja!

 

 

Verse 20

“²⁰ But the rest of mankind…” that word “rest” λοιποί [loipoi]  the “remnant” of mankind  “…who were not killed by these plagues, did not…” what?  “…did not repent of the works of their hands, that they should not worship…” what? Oh, so now we discovered that this horde is really what? Composed of demons, so that “…they should not worship demons, and idols of gold, silver, brass, stone, and wood, which can neither see nor hear nor walk...”  Now that's an interesting reference to Daniel chapter 5. What kingdom is ruling in Daniel chapter 5? Literal Babylon. Who is the king? Belshazzar. What is he doing on that night? He's celebrating a banquet, right? What is he using sacrilegiously? The vessels of the temple, he's using for a secular purpose to put wine in. And what happened that night? That night he was killed and Babylon fell, correct? 

 

Ayat 20

“²⁰ Tetapi manusia yang tersisa…”  kata “tersisa” λοιποί [loipoi]  “yang tersisa” dari manusia   “…yang tidak mati oleh malapetaka-malapetaka  itu, tidak…”  apa?   “…tidak bertobat dari perbuatan tangan mereka, di mana mereka seharusnya tidak menyembah…”  apa? Oh, jadi sekarang kita tahu kelompok ini sesungguhnya apa? Terbentuk dari setan-setan sehingga   “…mereka seharusnya tidak menyembah  roh-roh jahat dan berhala-berhala dari emas dan perak, dari tembaga, batu dan kayu yang tidak dapat melihat atau mendengar atau berjalan…”  

Nah, ini referensi yang menarik untuk Daniel pasal 5. Kerajaan apa yang sedang berkuasa di Daniel pasal 5? Babilon literal. Siapa rajanya? Belsyazar. Apa yang sedang dibuatnya malam itu? Dia sedang pesta, benar? Apa yang dipakainya dengan mencemarkan kekudusan? Bejana-bejana Bait Suci, dia memakai mereka untuk tujuan sekuler, sebagai wadah anggur. Dan apa yang terjadi malam itu? Malam itu dia terbunuh dan Babilon jatuh, benar?

 

 

So let's read the note. The expression “idols of gold and silver and brass and stone and wood which can neither see nor hear nor walk” comes almost verbatim from Daniel 5: 23.  Daniel 5 describes the fall of Babylon when what happened? When the Euphrates dried up. Are you catching the picture?

Thus this verse links three passages:

·       the fall of Babylon in Daniel 5

·       the drying up of the Euphrates in Revelation 16:2

·       and the  Sixth  Trumpet of Revelation 9:20

And then notice:

 

Maka mari kita  baca catatannya. Ungkapan  “berhala-berhala dari emas dan perak, dari tembaga, batu dan kayu yang tidak dapat melihat atau mendengar atau berjalan…” berasal nyaris verbatim dari Daniel 5:23. Daniel 5 menggambarkan kejatuhan Babilon ketika apa yang terjadi? Ketika sungai Efrat mengering. Apakah kalian menangkap gambarnya?

Dengan demikian ayat ini menghubungkan tiga ayat:

·       kejatuhan Babilon di Daniel 5

·       mengeringnya sungai Efrat di Wahyu 16:2

·       dan Terompet Keenam Wahyu 9:20

Kemudian simak:

 

 

Verse 21

“ ²¹ And they did not repent…” of several things, their what?   “…of their murders, or their sorceries, or their…”  actually a better translation is “…their fornication (sexual immorality) or their thefts…”

Now notice the bullet points:

·       what is Babylon filled with? What is the harlot filled with? She is a murderer of God's people. Would that be included in “murders”? “…they did not repent of their murders”? Yes!

·       how about “sorceries”? Revelation 18:23 says that the end time Babylon is filled of sorceries. By the way, do you know what sorcery is based on? On the idea of the immortality of the soul. 

·       Revelation 17:2 says  that the harlot practices what? Fornication with the kings of the earth.

·       And if you read the story in Revelation 18:10-13 it describes this system as what kind of system? Greedy and enslaving, stealing from the poor, and favoring the rich. Are you catching the picture? And James 5:1-8 describe the greediness that steals from the poor.

 

Ayat 21

“²¹ dan mereka tidak bertobat…”  dari beberapa hal, apa saja? “…dari pembunuhan mereka, atau dari sihir mereka, atau dari…”  sebenarnya terjemahan yang lebih tepat ialah   “…perzinahan (percabulan) mereka atau dari pencurian mereka.”

Sekarang simak poin-poin bulat:

·       Babilon dipenuhi apa? Perempuan pelacur itu dipenuhi apa? Dia adalah seorang pembunuh umat Allah. Apakah itu termasuk dalam  “pembunuhan”?  “…mereka tidak bertobat dari pembunuhan mereka”? Ya!

·       Bagaimana dengan “sihir”? Wahyu 18:23 mengatakan bahwa Babilon akhir masa penuh dengan sihir. Nah, tahukah kalian sihir itu landasannya apa? Pada konsep kebakaan jiwa.

·       Wahyu 17:2 mengatakan perempuan pelacur itu mempraktekkan apa? Perzinahan dengan raja-raja bumi.

·       Dan jika kita baca kisah di Wahyu 18:10-13 itu menggambarkan sistem ini sebagai sistem yang bagaimana? Rakus dan memperbudak, mencuri dari yang miskin, berpihak pada yang kaya. Apakah kalian menangkap gambarnya? Dan Yakobus 5:1-8 menggambarkan kerakusan yang mencuri dari orang-orang miskin.

 

 

So are you understanding the Sixth  Trumpet? Is the Sixth Trumpet sounding now? Is it sounding in its fullness? I mean is it being fulfilled in its fullness? No. When did it start sounding? It started sounding actually in 1798 when the Fifth Trumpet ended. Did it sound full blast in 1798? No. What is happening? The angels are slowly doing what? Slowly releasing the winds. Remember the statements that we read from the Spirit of Prophecy? They're releasing the winds slowly. Is the release going to become more intense all the time? Is the world a lot worse now than 20 years ago? Was the world 40 years ago worse (should be “better” not “worse”!) than it was 20 years ago? Absolutely! Are things getting worse and worse? Absolutely! Morally, shootings, diseases, natural disasters, such as never been seen before. So the  Sixth  Trumpet is intensifying.

 

Jadi apakah kalian memahami Terompet Keenam? Apakah Terompet Keenam sekarang sedang berbunyi? Apakah dia berbunyi dengan kekuatan penuh? Maksud saya apakah dia sedang digenapi secara menyeluruh? Tidak. Kapan dia pertama berbunyi? Dia pertama berbunyi sebetulnya di 1798 ketika Terompet Kelima berakhir. Apakah dia berbunyi dengan kekuatan penuh di 1798? Tidak. Apa yang terjadi? Malaikat-malaikat sedang apa? Perlahan-lahan melepaskan angin-angin. Ingat pernyataan-pernyataan yang kita  baca dari Roh Nubuat? Mereka sedang melepaskan angin-angin dengan perlahan-lahan. Apakah pelepasan itu akan menjadi semakin intens terus? Apakah dunia sekarang jauh lebih buruk sekarang daripada 20 tahun lalu? Apakah dunia 40 tahun lalu lebih baik daripada 20 tahun lalu? Tentu saja!  Apakah kondisi menjadi semakin lama semakin buruk? Tepat sekali. Secara moral, penembakan-penembakan, penyakit-penyakit, bencana-bencana alam seperti yang belum pernah kita lihat dulu. Jadi Terompet Keenam menjadi semakin intens.

 

 

What is the Devil's ultimate purpose? His ultimate purpose is to unite the entire world on his side, ultimately with the purpose of what? With the purpose of fighting against the small remnant that doesn't go along. That's the picture that we find here in Revelation.

 

Apa tujuan akhir Iblis? Tujuan akhir Iblis ialah mempersatukan seluruh dunia ke pihaknya, dengan tujuan akhir apa? Dengan tujuan berperang melawan umat sisa yang sedikit yang tidak mau mengikutinya. Itulah gambaran yang kita dapatkan di sini di Wahyu.

 

 

So let's notice the summary here of the Sixth Trumpet.

Since 1844 both armies have been in the process of being what? Gathered. God's three angels have gathered the righteous, while Satan's three counterfeit angels have gathered the wicked.

The  Sixth  Trumpet in Revelation 9:13-21 describe the gathering of whom? Do you see the focus of the entire Trumpets on the wicked, and its leader? So the  Sixth  Trumpet in Revelation 9 describes the gathering of the wicked for battle. Where do you find the description of the righteous during the same period? When the little book is opened, right? Revelation 10 describes the gathering of the righteous on God's side.

 

Jadi mari kita simak rangkuman di sini tentang Terompet Keenam.

Sejak 1844 kedua pasukan sedang dalam proses diapakan? Dikumpulkan.  Tiga malaikat Allah mengumpulkan orang-orang benar, sementara tiga malaikat palsu Setan mengumpulkan orang-orang jahat.

Terompet Keenam di Wahyu 9:13-21 menggambarkan pengumpulan siapa? Apakah kalian melihat fokus keseluruhan seri Terompet pada orang-orang jahat dan pemimpin mereka? Jadi Terompet Keenam di Wahyu 9 menggambarkan dikumpulkannya orang-orang jahat untuk berperang. Di mana kita temukan deskripsi tentang orang-orang benar di periode yang sama? Now listen to this. The only three places in Revelation where the word “demons” appears is:

·       in Revelation 16:14,

·       Revelation 9:20 which is the  Sixth  Trumpet,

·       and Revelation 18:1-5 which describe the loud cry at the end of the Sixth Trumpet.  

Are these passages all related? Yes!

 

Nah, dengarkan ini. Hanya tiga tempat di Wahyu di mana kata “demons” (= setan-setan) ada, yaitu di:

·       Wahyu 16:14

·       Wahyu 9:20 yaitu Terompet Keenam

·       dan Wahyu 18:1-5 yang menggambarkan seruan nyaring pada akhir Terompet Keenam.

Apakah semua ayat ini terkait? Ya!.

 

 

Furthermore the only places where the great river Euphrates appears is:

·       Revelation 9

·       and Revelation 16

therefore we know that there is a link between these two passages.

 

Lebih jauh satu-satunya tempat di mana sungai besar Efrat muncul ialah di:

·       Wahyu 9

·       dan Wahyu 16

karena itu kita tahu bahwa ada hubungan antara kedua pasal itu.

 

 

Now let's notice a couple of choice statements from Ellen White.

 

“Satan has long been preparing for his final effort to deceive the world…” so is the Devil preparing now?  Of course.  “…The foundation of his work was laid by the assurance given to Eve in Eden: ‘Ye shall not surely die.’…”  so what is his first lie where he's going to use it as the last lie that will gather the whole world on his side? ‘You will not surely die’ that's the foundation of what? Spiritualism. By the way, it's encroaching even in our own church by things like contemplative prayer, spiritual formation, and pantheistic ideas. She continues,  “…‘In the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.’ Little by little…”  so is this, you know, is the  Sixth  Trumpet in all its fullness at the very beginning? No!  “…Little by little he has prepared the way for his masterpiece of deception in the development of spiritualism…” is it going to get worse and worse? Yes! “…He has not yet reached the full accomplishment of his designs; but it will be reached in the last remnant of time…” Will we still be in the  Sixth  Trumpet in the last remnant of time? Yes!  “…Says the prophet…” now what is she going to quote? Da! Revelation 16. She says,  “…’I saw three unclean spirits like frogs; . . . they are the spirits of…” what?  “…devils…” so is this army from hell a spiritualistic army? Yes!  “… ‘I saw three unclean spirits like frogs… they are the spirits of devils working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.’. Except those who are kept by the power of God, through faith in His word,  the whole world will be swept into the ranks of this delusion.”

Huh, amazing!

 

 

Sekarang mari kita simak beberapa pernyataan pilihan dari Ellen White.

 

“…Sudah sejak lama Setan mempersiapkan upayanya yang terakhir untuk menipu dunia…” jadi apakah ini Iblis sedang membuat persiapan sekarang? Tentu saja. “…Dia telah meletakkan fondasi pekerjaannya melalui jaminan yang diberikannya kepada Hawa saat di Eden: ‘Sekali-kali kamu tidak akan mati’ …”  jadi kebohongannya yang pertama itu apa, yang akan dipakainya sebagai kebohongannya yang terakhir yang akan menggalang seluruh dunia ke pihaknya? ‘Sekali-kali kamu tidak akan mati’ itulah fondasi dari apa? Spiritualisme. Nah, ini bahkan juga menyusup ke dalam gereja kita sendiri, hal-hal seperti doa kontemplatif, formasi spiritual, dan konsep-konsep pantheistik. Ellen White melanjutkan,   “…pada hari kamu memakannya matamu akan terbuka, dan kamu akan menjadi seperti Allah, tahu tentang yang baik dan yang jahat.’ (Kej. 3:4-5)   Sedikit demi sedikit…”  jadi apakah ini Terompet Keenam dalam keseluruhannya pada awal mulanya? Tidak!   “…Sedikit demi sedikit dia telah mempersiapkan jalannya bagi penipuannya yang paling hebat dalam perkembangan spiritualisme…”  apakah kondisi semakin lama akan menjadi semakin parah? Ya! “…Dia belum mencapai puncak keberhasilan rencananya tetapi itu akan dicapainya di sisa waktu yang terakhir…”  apakah kita masih ada di periode Terompet Keenam di sisa waktu yang terakhir? Ya!   “…Kata nabi itu (Yohanes)…”  nah, apa yang akan dikutip Ellen White? Betul! Wahyu 16. Ellen White berkata,   “…‘Dan aku melihat tiga roh najis yang menyerupai katak … Itulah roh-roh…”  apa?   “…iblis…”  jadi apakah pasukan dari neraka ini pasukan spiritualistis? Ya!   “…‘Dan aku melihat tiga roh najis yang menyerupai katak… Itulah roh-roh iblis yang mengadakan tanda-tanda ajaib, dan mereka pergi kepada raja-raja di bumi dan seluruh dunia untuk mengumpulkan mereka guna peperangan pada hari besar Allah Yang Mahakuasa.’ (Wah. 16:13-14). Selain mereka yang dipeliharakan oleh kuasa Allah melalui iman dalam FirmanNya, seluruh dunia akan disapu masuk ke kelompok yang tertipu ini….” (Darkness before Dawn hal. 23.3)

Wah, luar biasa!  

 

 

Now let's not go to the next statement but let's go to the long statement that we find at the bottom of page 323. This is very important.  Were the First and Second Angels’ Messages  preached in 1844? Was the message that Babylon had fallen preached in 1844? Yes! What was the Babylon that fell in 1844? It wasn't the papacy because the papacy fell in 1798. So what is Revelation  14:8 referring to when the Millerites preached that Babylon is fallen, is fallen? It's speaking about the Protestant denominations. Was that the full fall of Babylon? No. Listen to this statement, “This scripture…” she's really talking about Revelation 18:2-3,   “…This scripture points forward to a time when the announcement of the fall of Babylon, as made by the Second Angel of Revelation 14, is to be…” what?  “…repeated, with the additional mention of the corruptions which have been entering the various organizations that constitute Babylon, since that message was first given, in the summer of 1844…”  so what's the message on the fall of Babylon  given leading up to 1844? What is Revelation 18 saying? It's saying now there are additional things that Babylon is guilty of. So that's the loud cry and then she describes the condition of Babylon at the end. “…A terrible condition of the religious world is here described…” We just read the three phrases, full of demons, every hated bird, and so on.  “…With every rejection of truth the minds of the people will become…” what?  “…darker, their hearts more stubborn, until they are entrenched in an infidel hardihood…” that's the end portion of the  Sixth  Trumpet, by the way,  “…In defiance of the warnings which God has given, they will continue to trample upon one of the precepts of the Decalogue, until they are led to persecute those who hold it sacred. Christ is set at nought in the contempt placed upon His word and His people…”  now listen carefully “…As the teachings of spiritualism are accepted by the churches,  the…” what? So let me ask you, is there somewhat of a restraint now on the teachings of spiritualism? Yes! So,  “…As the teachings of spiritualism are accepted by the churches,  the restraint imposed upon the carnal heart is…” what?  “…removed…” are the four angels at the Euphrates going to be released? Yes, absolutely! She continues,  “…and the profession of religion will become a cloak to conceal the basest iniquity. A belief in spiritual manifestations…”  that’s spiritualism by the way  “…opens the door to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils, and thus  the influence of…” what?  “…evil angels will be felt in the churches.” 

 

Nah, kita jangan ke pernyataan berikut, tetapi marilah kita pergi ke pernyataan yang panjang yang ada di bagian bawah hal. 323. Ini sangat penting. Apakah Pekabaran Malaikat Pertama dan Kedua disampaikan di 1844? Apakah pekabaran bahwa Babilon sudah roboh diserukan di 1844? Ya! Babilon yang mana yang roboh di 1844? Itu bukan Kepausan karena Kepausan sudah jatuh di 1798. Jadi Wahyu 14:8 mengacu kepada apa ketika golongan Miller menyerukan bahwa Babilon sudah roboh, sudah roboh? Itu berbicara tentang denominasi-denominasi Protestan. Apakah itu kejatuhan sepenuhnya dari Babilon? Tidak. Dengarkan pernyataan ini, “…Ayat ini…” Ellen White benar-benar berbicara tentang Wahyu 18:2-3,  “…Ayat ini menunjuk ke depan ketika pengumuman jatuhnya Babilon seperti yang dibuat oleh Malaikat Kedua Wahyu 14 akan…”  diapakan?   “…diulangi, dengan tambahan disebutkannya kerusakan-kerusakan yang telah masuk ke dalam pelbagai organisasi yang membentuk Babilon, sejak pekabaran tersebut pertama diserukan di musim panas 1844…”  Jadi pekabaran apa tentang kejatuhan Babilon yang diberikan hingga 1844? Apa yang dikatakan Wahyu 18? Wahyu 18 mengatakan sekarang ada hal-hal lain yang menjadi kesalahan Babilon. Jadi itulah seruan nyaring. Dan kemudian Ellen White menggambarkan kondisi Babilon pada akhirnya.  “…Suatu kondisi yang mengerikan di dunia relijius digambarkan di sini…”  Kita baru saja membaca ketiga ungkapan, penuh dengan setan, setiap burung yang dibenci, dan lain-lain.  “…Dengan setiap penolakan pada kebenaran, pikiran manusia akan menjadi…” apa?  “…semakin gelap, hatinya semakin keras, hingga mereka tenggelam dalam kenekatan orang tidak beriman…”   nah, itulah bagian akhir Terompet Keenam  “…Sebagai pemberontakan terhadap peringatan yang telah diberikan Allah, mereka akan terus menginjak-injak salah satu perintah Sepuluh Perintah hingga mereka digiring untuk mempersekusi orang-orang yang memeliharanya dengan kudus. Dalam kebencian mereka kepada FirmanNya dan umatNya, Kristus dianggap tidak berarti…”  sekarang dengarkan baik-baik. “…Karena ajaran-ajaran spiritualisme diterima oleh gereja-gereja, maka…”  apa? Jadi biarlah saya tanya, apakah ada sejenis pengekangan sekarang ini pada ajaran-ajaran spiritualisme? Ya! Jadi, “…Karena ajaran-ajaran spiritualisme diterima oleh gereja-gereja, maka pengekangan yang ditempatkan di hati yang duniawi…” diapakan? “…disingkirkan…” apakah keempat malaikat di Efrat akan dilepaskan? Ya, tentu saja! Ellen White melanjutkan,  “…dan profesi agama akan menjadi jubah untuk menutupi dosa yang paling hina. Mempercayai manifestasi spiritual…”  nah itu spiritualisme   “…membuka pintu kepada roh-roh penyesat dan doktrin-doktrin setan, dan dengan demikian pengaruh…”  apa?   “…malaikat-malaikat jahat akan dirasakan di dalam gereja-gereja.” (GC hal. 603, 604)

 

 

Are you catching a better picture of the  Sixth  Trumpet? Notice Signs of the Times, May 28, 1894,  “Spiritualism is about to take…” what?  “…the world captive…” Is that what happens when the spirit-like demons go to the kings of the earth and the whole world? Do they take the world captive? Yes!  “…There are many who think that Spiritualism is upheld through trickery and imposture; but this is far from the truth. Superhuman power is working in a variety of ways, and few have any idea as to what will be the manifestations of Spiritualism in the future…” is it going to be a lot worse? Yes!  “…The foundation for the success of Spiritualism has been laid in the assertions that have been made from the pulpits of our land. The ministers have proclaimed, as Bible doctrines, falsehoods…”  is this coming out of the mouth of the dragon? Yeah.  The Beast the papacy? The false prophet apostate Protestantism? Yes!  “…The ministers have proclaimed, as Bible doctrines, falsehoods that have originated from…” where?  “…from the arch-deceiver. The doctrine of consciousness after death, of the spirits of the dead being in communion with the living, has no foundation in the Scriptures, and yet this theory is affirmed as truth. Through this false doctrine the way has been opened for the spirits of devils to deceive the people in representing themselves as the dead…” do you notice the emphasis on satanic agencies, spirits of devils, and so on? Is that what we're dealing with in the Sixth Trumpet? Absolutely!  “…Satanic agencies…”  do what? They “…personate the dead, and thus bring souls into captivity. Satan has a religion; he has a synagogue and devout worshipers. To swell the ranks of his devotees he uses all manner of…” what?  “…all manner of deception.”

So now let's go to the Seventh  Trumpet.

 

Apakah kalian menangkap gambaran yang lebih jelas dari Terompet Keenam? Simak, Signs of the Times 28 Mei 1894, “…Spiritualisme sudah akan menjadikan dunia sebagai tawanannya…”  Itukah yang terjadi ketika roh-roh iblis pergi ke raja-raja bumi dan seluruh dunia? Apakah mereka menjadikan dunia tawanan mereka? Ya!   “…Ada banyak orang yang beranggapan spiritualisme itu diadakan melalui trick dan penipuan, tetapi ini jauh dari  yang sebenarnya. Kekuatan supranatural sedang bekerja dalam pelbagai cara, dan hanya sedikit yang paham apa yang akan dimanifestasikan oleh spiritualisme di masa mendatang…”  apakah kondisi akan menjadi semakin buruk? Ya! “…Fondasi bagi keberhasilan spiritualisme telah diletakkan pada penegasan-penegasan yang selama ini dibuat dari mimbar-mimbar gereja di negara kita. Para pendeta mengumumkan kepalsuan-kepalsuan sebagai doktrin-doktrin Alkitab. …”  apakah ini keluar dari mulut naga? Iya. Binatang itu, Kepausan? Nabi palsu, Protestantisme murtad? Ya! “…Para pendeta  mengumumkan kepalsuan-kepalsuan sebagai doktrin-doktrin Alkitab yang berasal dari…”  mana?   “…dari si penipu ulung. Doktrin bahwa ada kesadaran setelah kematian, bahwa roh-roh orang mati bisa berkomunikasi dengan orang-orang hidup, tidak ada dasarnya dalam Kitab Suci, namun teori ini ditekankan sebagai kebenaran. Melalui doktrin palsu ini, jalan telah dbuka bagi roh-roh iblis untuk menipu manusia dengan menyamar sebagai orang-orang yang mati…”  Apakah kalian melihat penekanan pada agen-agen Setan, roh-roh iblis, dll.? Itukah yang kita hadapi di Terompet Keenam? Betul sekali! “…Agen-agen Setan…” melakukan apa? Mereka   “…menyamar sebagai orang-orang yang mati, dengan demikian membawa jiwa-jiwa ke dalam tawanan. Setan punya agama, dia punya gereja dan penyembah-penyembah yang setia. Untuk menambah barisan pengikut-pengikutnya yang setia, dia menggunakan segala macam…”  apa?   “…segala macam penipuan.”  

Jadi sekarang mari kita ke Terompet Ketujuh.

 

 

You can read the last two statements here, I think we've read enough for you to get the picture of what the  Sixth  Trumpet. Are you understanding the  Sixth  Trumpet? Very good.

Now, let's go to page 325. What is the Seventh Trumpet? When the Seventh  Trumpet sounds has probation closed? Has a time of trouble passed? Yes! What is the Seventh  Trumpet? The Second Coming of Christ to take possession of the kingdom that He received in Heaven in the judgment. Following me?

 

Sekarang mari kita ke hal. 325. Apakah Terompet Ketujuh itu? Ketika Terompet Ketujuh berbunyi apakah pintu kasihan sudah menutup? Apakah Masa Kesukaran Besar sudah lewat? Ya! Now let's read the passage. Revelation 11:15-17, “¹⁵ Then the Seventh Angel sounded. And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, ‘The kingdoms of this world…” what?  “…have become…”  is this the Third Woe? It's a woe upon whom? The wicked, you’d better believe it, “… ‘The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!’ ¹⁶ And the twenty-four elders who sat before God on their thrones fell on their faces and worshiped God, ¹⁷ saying, ‘We give You thanks, O Lord God Almighty, the One who is and who was and who is to come, because You have…” what?  “…taken Your great power and reigned.’…”

 

Nah, mari kita  baca ayatnya. Wahyu 11:15-17, “¹⁵ Lalu malaikat yang ketujuh meniup sangkakalanya. Dan terdengarlah suara-suara nyaring di Sorga, yang berkata, ‘Kerajaan dunia ini…”  apa?   “…telah menjadi…”  apakah ini Celaka Ketiga? Ini celaka bagi siapa? Orang-orang jahat, percayalah.   “…‘Kerajaan dunia ini telah menjadi  kerajaan Tuhan kita dan Kristus-Nya, dan Ia akan memerintah sebagai raja sampai selama-lamanya.’ ¹⁶ Dan kedua puluh empat tua-tua, yang duduk di hadapan Allah di atas takhta mereka, tersungkur dan menyembah Allah,  ¹⁷ sambil berkata, ‘Kami mengucap syukur kepada-Mu, ya Tuhan, Allah, Yang Mahakuasa, yang ada sekarang, dan yang ada dulu, dan yang ada kelak, karena Engkau telah…” apa? “…mengambil kuasa-Mu yang besar dan memerintah sebagai raja.’…”

 

 

So does Jesus take over the kingdom in the Seventh  Trumpet? Absolutely!

·       Probation closes when the Seventh  Trumpet is what? About to sound.

·       At that moment Jesus will receive what from His Father? The kingdom.

·       What is His kingdom? His people. The kingdom is not geographical, the kingdom is the people of the kingdom.

·       What determined that they were the people of the kingdom? The judgment showed whether they were really people of the kingdom or not. So that's what Jesus receives.

·       Where does He receive the kingdom from the Father? In heaven, when the judgement concludes,

·       then what will come? The time of trouble will ensue,

·       followed by the blowing of the Seventh Trumpet when Jesus comes to take His people home.

 

Jadi apakah Yesus mengambil kerajaan di Terompet Ketujuh? Betul sekali!

·       Pintu kasihan menutup ketika Terompet Ketujuh akan apa? Akan ditiup.

·       Saat itu Yesus akan menerima apa dari BapaNya? Kerajaan.

·       KerajaanNya itu apa? KerajaanNya bukan geografis, kerajaan itu ialah umatNya di dalam kerajaan itu.

·       Apa yang menentukan bahwa merekalah umat kerajaan itu? Penghakiman membuktikan apakah mereka sungguh-sungguh umat kerajaan itu atau bukan. Jadi itulah yang diterima Yesus.

·       Di mana Yesus menerima kerajaan itu dari BapaNya? Di Surga, ketika penghakiman selesai.

·       Lalu apa yang akan terjadi? Masa Kesukaran Besar,

·       diikuti oleh ditiupnya Terompet Ketujuh ketika Yesus datang untuk menjemput umatNya pulang.

 

 

Great Controversy 301 “About His coming cluster the glories of that ‘restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began.’ Then the long-continued rule of evil shall be…” what?  “…broken…”  and now Ellen White's going to quote the Seventh  Trumpet. “…Then the long-continued rule of evil shall be broken, ‘the kingdoms of this world’ will become ‘the kingdoms of our Lord, and of His Christ; and He shall reign for ever and ever.’…”

 

Great Controversy hal. 301.  “…Mengelilingi kedatanganNya berkumpul kemuliaan dari ‘pemulihan segala sesuatu, yang telah difirmankan Allah melalui mulut semua nabi-Nya yang kudus sejak awal dunia.’ (Kisah 3:21). Lalu masa berkuasanya kejahataan yang panjang akan…”  diapakan?   “…dipatahkan…”  dan sekarang Ellen White akan mengutip Terompet Ketujuh.   “…Lalu masa berkuasanya kejahataan yang panjang akan dipatahkan, ‘Kerajaan dunia ini’ akan menjadi ‘kerajaan Tuhan kita dan Kristus-Nya, dan Ia akan memerintah sebagai raja sampai selama-lamanya.’ (Wah. 11:15).”

 

 

Notice what the commentary of Jamieson, Fausset and Brown says about this. “The Seventh Trumpet…” he almost sounds like an Adventist  “…The Seventh Trumpet…” or they almost sound like an Adventist because there are three that wrote this commentary,  “…The Seventh Trumpet like the Seventh Seal and Seventh Vial, being the consummation, is accompanied differently from the preceding six: not the consequences on earth, but those IN HEAVEN, are described,

ü  the great voices and thanksgiving of the 24 elders in heaven,

ü  as the half-hour's silence in heaven at the Seventh Seal,

ü  and the voice out of the temple in heaven, ‘It is done,’ at the Seventh Vial.

Thus, the Seven Seals, Seven Trumpets, and Seven Vials, are not consecutive, but parallel…” is that what Adventist believe? That the Seals and the  Trumpets are not consecutive but what? Parallel, “…ending in the same consummation. They, from distinct stand-points…” so each series gives you the same chronology, but with different standpoints,  “…unfold God's plans for bringing about the grand end, under three aspects, mutually complementing each other.”

 

Simak komentar yang dikatakan Jamieson, Fausset, dan Brown tentang hal ini.   “…Terompet Ketujuh…”  dia bicara hampir seperti orang Advent,    “…Terompet Ketujuh…”  atau mereka bicara hampir seperti orang-orang Advent karena yang menulis komentar ini tiga orang, “…Terompet Ketujuh sebagaimana Meterai Ketujuh dan Cawan Ketujuh yang adalah penggenapannya, disertai oleh akibat-akibat yang berbeda dari keenam lainnya yang mendahuluinya; bukan akibat-akibat di bumi, tetapi yang di Surga yang digambarkan,

ü  suara-suara besar dan ucapan syukur ke-24 tua-tua di Surga,

ü  sebagaimana setengah jam keheningan di Surga saat Meterai Ketujuh,

ü  dan suara dari tempat kudus di Surga, ‘Sudah selesai’ saat Cawan Ketujuh.

Dengan demikian Ketujuh Meterai, Ketujuh Terompet, dan Ketujuh Cawan bukanlah berurutan, melainkan paralel…”  itukah yang diyakini Advent? Bahwa Meterai-meterai dan Terompet-terompet bukanlah berurutan, tapi apa? Paralel, “…berakhir dengan penggenapan yang sama. Mereka, dari segi pandang yang berbeda…”  jadi setiap seri memberi kita kronologi yang sama tetapi dengan sudut pandang berbeda,   “…mengungkapkan rancangan Allah dalam mendatangkan suatu akhir yag hebat, di bawah tiga aspek yang saling melengkapi satu sama lain.” (Comment from  Jamieson, Fausset and Brown on Revelation 11:19)

 

 

We can be certain that the releasing of the four angels under the  Sixth  Trumpet takes place during probationary time. We know this because probation will only close when the Mystery of God is finished just before the sounding of the Seventh  Trumpet.

So let me ask you, is the  Sixth  Trumpet going to sound for quite a while? Yeah, because the time comes when it is about to sound, the mystery of God ends. So some time must have passed during the  Sixth  Trumpet, before it is about to sound. This means that the releasing of the four angels in the  Sixth  Trumpet is not the same thing as the releasing of the four winds in Revelation 7. When the angels of Revelation 7 release the winds probation has closed and mayhem ensues.

 

Kita boleh yakin bahwa dilepaskannya keempat malaikat di Terompet Keenam terjadi selama masa kemurahan Allah. Kita tahu ini karena pintu kasihan hanya akan menutup ketika Misteri Allah selesai, sedikit waktu sebelum ditiupnya Terompet Ketujuh.

Jadi coba saya tanya, apakah Terompet Keenam akan berbunyi untuk masa yang cukup lama? Ya, karena ketika tiba waktunya Terompet Ketujuh akan ditiup, Misteri Allah berakhir. Jadi beberapa waktu tentunya telah lewat sejak Terompet Keenam, sebelum yang Ketujuh akan ditiup. Ini berarti dilepaskannya keempat malaikat di Terompet Keenam bukanlah hal yang sama dengan dilepaskanya keempat angin di Wahyu 7. Ketika malaikat-malaikat Wahyu 7 melepaskan angin-angin, pintu kasihan sudah tutup dan kekacauan terjadi. 

 

 

Notice the following quotations from Ellen White.

 

“Winds are a symbol of strife. The four winds of heaven striving upon the great sea represent the terrible scenes of conquest and revolution by which kingdoms have attained to power.”  That's Great Controversy 439.

 

Simak kutipan berikut dari Ellen White.

 

“…Angin-angin adalah simbol peperangan. Keempat angin surga bergejolak di lautan besar melambangkan adegan-adegan penaklukkan dan revolusi yang mengerikan di mana kerajaan-kerajaan mendapatkan kekuasaan…”  Ini Great Controversy hal. 439. 

 

 

Now notice Early Writings page 36,  “I saw that the four angels would hold the four winds until…” when?  “…until Jesus' work was done in the sanctuary, and then will come the seven last plagues.”

So when the angels release the winds is that the close of probation? Yes! That's when Jesus’ work is done in the Sanctuary.

 

Nah, simak Early Writings hal. 36,   “…Aku melihat keempat malaikat akan menahan angin-angin hingga…”  kapan?   “…hingga pekerjaan Yesus di Bait Suci selesai, lalu akan datang ketujuh malapetaka terakhir…”  

Jadi ketika malaikat-malaikat melepaskan angin-angin apakah itu tutupnya pintu kasihan? Ya! Itulah ketika pekerjaan Yesus di Bait Suci, selesai.

 

 

Notice the next statement.  6 Testimonies 408. I already read this in a previous presentation. “…The restraining Spirit of God is even now being withdrawn from the world…”  so is the withdrawing of the Spirit an instantaneous thing? No. It's slowly withdrawn from the world. “…Hurricanes…” what evidences do we have?  “…Hurricanes, storms, tempests, fire, and flood, disasters by sea and land, follow each other in quick succession…” what do human beings say about this? Global warming, hehehe,  yeah, I'm not going to deny that there's global warming because there is global warming, but it's not primarily because of the use of fossil fuels. It's signs of the times, folks. See, then it says,  “…Science seeks to explain all these…”  the scientists say it's all because of the fossil fuels, and the air conditioners that are running. Of course they don't say anything about the animal dung, because they love their beef steak and their hamburgers. Then she says, “…Science seeks to explain all these. The signs thickening around us, telling of the near approach of the Son of God, are attributed to any other than the true cause. Men cannot discern the sentinel angels restraining the four winds, that they shall not blow until the servants of God are sealed. But when God shall bid His angels loose the winds…” this is Revelation chapter 7  “…there shall be such a scene of strife as no pen can picture…”

 

Simak pernyataan berikut. 6 Testimonies hal. 408. Saya sudah membacakan ini dalam presentasi sebelumnya. “…Roh Allah yang selama ini mengendalikan, bahkan sekarang mulai ditarik dari dunia…”  jadi apakah ditariknya Roh itu hal yang sekaligus? Tidak. Itu ditarik pelan-pelan dari dunia. “…Angin kencang…”  bukti-bukti apa yang kita miliki?   “…Angin kencang, badai, topan, api, dan banjir, bencana di laut dan darat terjadi berturut-turut secara cepat…”  Apa kata manusia tentang ini? Pemanasan global, hehehe, yah, saya tidak menyangkal adanya pemanasan global karena memang ada pemanasan global, tetapi itu bukan yang utama karena dipakainya bahan bakar dari fosil. Ini tanda-tanda zaman, Saudara-saudara. Lihat, lalu dikatakan, “…Sains berusaha menjelaskan semua ini…”  para ilmuwan berkata semuanya gara-gara bahan bakar fosil, dan AC-AC yang dihidupkan. Tentu saja mereka tidak berkata apa-apa tentang kotoran hewan, karena mereka doyan bistik dan hamburger mereka. Lalu Ellen White berkata,  “…Sains berusaha menjelaskan semua ini. Tanda-tanda yang menyatakan mendekatnya kedatangan Anak Allah, semakin menebal mengepung kita, diatributkan kepada penyebab apa saja selain penyebabnya yang benar. Manusia tidak bisa melihat para malaikat penjaga yang sedang menahan keempat angin agar angin itu tidak bertiup sebelum hamba-hamba Allah dimeteraikan. Tetapi ketika Allah menyuruh malaikat-malaikatNya melepaskan angin-angin itu…”  ini Wahyu pasal 7,   “…akan ada adegan kekacauan yang tidak dapat ditulis pena mana pun.”

 

 

You think the coronavirus is bad, can you imagine a coronavirus plus many other diseases all simultaneously at the same time, not only an earthquake here and there, but earthquakes everywhere, tsunamis everywhere, tornadoes everywhere? This world is going to be a battleground. If Jesus does not intervene, all humanity would cease to exist, that's why Matthew 24 says that unless He shortens the time of trouble, no one would remain alive, but for the elects’ sake that time will be shortened.

 

Kalian pikir virus Corona itu buruk, bisakah kalian bayangkan virus Corona ditambah banyak penyakit lain berbarengan pada waktu yang sama, bukan hanya satu gempabumi di sana, satu di sini, tetapi gempabumi di mana-mana, tsunami di mana-mana, tornado di mana-mana? Dunia ini akan menjadi medan pertempuran. Andai Yesus tidak campur tangan,  semua manusia akan mati, itulah mengapa Matius 24 (ay. 22) berkata, kecuali Yesus mempersingkat Masa Kesukaran Besar itu, tidak akan ada yang masih hidup,  “tetapi oleh karena orang-orang pilihan,  masa itu akan dipersingkat.”

 

Let's go to the last page. We must link Revelation 17:14 with Revelation 19:11 following where Jesus bears the title what? King of kings and Lord of lords. This means that Revelation 11:15 is repeated again where? In Revelation 17:14, and where else? In Revelation 19:11, they all describe the same event: the Seventh  Trumpet and the taking over of the kingdom. This proves that we cannot read Revelation as a continuous flow, but rather full of what? Recapitulations and repetitions.

 

Mari ke halaman terakhir. Kita harus mengaitkan Wahyu 17:14 dengan Wahyu 19:11 mengikuti di mana Yesus memakai gelar apa? Raja segala raja dan Tuan segala tuan. And then as I mentioned:

·       Revelation 11:17 actually concludes the Seventh  Trumpet

·       Revelation 11:18 introduces and summarizes the main sections of the rest of the book of Revelation

·       and then Revelation 11:19 which is the opening of the Heavenly temple, the Ark of the Covenant is seen, that introduces the next section of the book of Revelation, Revelation chapters 12 through 14.

·       Wahyu 11:17 sesungguhnya mengakhiri Terompet Ketujuh.

·       Wahyu 11:18 memperkenalkan dan merangkum bagian-bagian utama sisa kitab Wahyu.

·       Lalu Wahyu 11:19 yang adalah dibukanya bilik Mahakudus, Tabut Perjanjian tampak, itu memperkenalkan bagian berikutnya dari kitab Wahyu: Wahyu 12 hingga 14.

 

 

So we've come to an end of our study. You might not understand all of the little details, that's why it is written so that you can take the study notes home and look them over, study it for yourselves and I believe as you study you will see that this is the correct interpretation to the Trumpets.
