Dibuka
dengan doa.
I
want to begin by reviewing the prophecy of Daniel chapter 7. This morning we're
going to study about the mark of the Beast. However, before we can study the
mark of the Beast, we have to review the prophecy of Daniel chapter 7. I'm sure
that the majority of us are well acquainted with this prophecy. So, I'm not
going to take a lot of time to review the prophecy because we're going to
emphasize one specific point in this prophecy. So let's review.
Saya mau mulai
dengan mengulang nubuatan Daniel pasal 7. Pagi ini kita akan belajar tentang
tanda Binatang.
mengulangi nubuatan Daniel pasal 7.
Jadi mari kita mulai.
In
Daniel chapter 7,
v First we have a
lion. What does the lion represent? The kingdom of Babylon, which ruled from
605 BC to 539 BC.
v Then you have a
bear. What does the bear represent? It represents the kingdom of the Medes and
Persians that conquered Babylon. And that kingdom lasted from 539 BC to 331 BC.
v Then you have a
leopard. What kingdom does a leopard represent? It represents the kingdom of
Greece that ruled from the 331 before Christ to 168 BC.
v And then you
have a nondescript Beast that doesn't exist in real life. It's a dragon Beast.
And this dragon Beast has 10 horns. Now, the 10 horns are not there when the
dragon Beast first begins to rule because it says it's a dragon Beast,
ü then it grows 10 horns
ü and then in the midst of the 10 afterwards comes a
Little Horn.
Of course, this dragon Beast represents
the Roman Empire.
ü And then the Roman Empire was divided into 10
kingdoms, which are the nations of Europe today.
ü And then after the 10 kingdoms rose from the divisions
of Rome, then you have a Little Horn that rises among the divisions of Europe.
And that Little Horn rules for “time,
times, and a dividing of time”,
which is equivalent to 1260 days, but “days” in prophecy are equal to years.
Di Daniel pasal
7,
v
tahun.
Now
Rome ruled from 168 to the year 476 AD, the
united Roman Empire. In 476 to 538
Rome was divided into various kingdoms. It fell apart. It was still
what Rome was but it was divided Rome.
And
then in the year 538 among those
divisions of what had been the Roman Empire rises
this Little Horn among the 10, and uproots three of them. And then this
Little Horn as I mentioned, rules for “time,
times, the dividing of time”
which is equivalent to 1260 years. So far so good?
Nah, Roma
538 Roma terpecah menjadi bermacam-macam kerajaan,
terpecah-belah.
Now,
we're going to notice in our study this afternoon that when this power ended its rule in 1798, it received a deadly wound. We're
going to study that in Revelation 13 this afternoon. And it lost its power. But
the prophecy in Revelation chapter 13 tells
us that the deadly wound of this power is going to be healed. And then this power is going to do in the
future what it did in the past. Are you with me so far?
kekuasaannya. Tetapi nubuatan di Wahyu pasal 13 memberitahu
kita bahwa luka yang mematikan kekuasaan
ini akan disembuhkan. Lalu kekuasaan ini akan melakukan lagi apa
yang dulu dilakukannya di masa lampau. Apakah kalian mengikuti saya sampai di
sini?
Now
let's go back to Daniel 7. After
this Little Horn rules in 1798, the next
scene is a judgment scene. The Father moves from the Holy to the Most
Holy place, sits, and the judgment begins. This is after 1798. We know that it's in 1844 that this judgment begins.
The First Angel’s Message refers to that, which was read in our service this
morning. So you have:
v the Judge sits,
v the books are
opened,
v and then the
Son of Man, Jesus, who is also in the Holy place with the Father, now moves
into the Most Holy place to receive the kingdom from the Father.
v And there is an
investigative judgment in Heaven. The books are opened in Heaven. They're not
opened on earth.
v And then at the
end of the investigative judgment, Christ and His followers inherit the
kingdom. That's the Second Coming of Christ.
Sekarang mari
kembali ke Daniel 7. Setelah Tanduk Kecil ini memerintah
hingga 1798, adegan
v
Dan di Surga ada penghakiman investigasi.
Kitab-kitab dibuka di Surga, bukan dibuka di bumi.
v
Lalu di akhir penghakiman investigasi itu,
Kristus dan pengikut-pengikutNya mewarisi kerajaan. Itulah Kedatangan Kedua
Kristus.
So
Daniel chapter 7 is taking us all the way from ancient Babylon through Medo-Persia,
Greece, the Roman Empire, the divisions of the Roman Empire, the Little Horn,
1260 years, and then 1844 the judgment, and the concluding of the judgment, and
the everlasting Kingdom. It gives us the whole sweep from Babylon till our
entrance into the Kingdom.
Jadi Daniel
pasal 7 membawa kita mulai dari Babilon purba melalui Medo-Persia, Greeka,
kekaisaran Roma, terpecahnya kekaisaran Roma, Tanduk Kecil, 1260 tahun, lalu
Now,
what we want to focus on in our study this morning is on this Little Horn. Let
me ask you, did a Rome rise after the Roman Empire was divided? Another Rome?
Yes. Did that Rome rule for 1260 years? Yes. What is the name of that Rome
represented by the Little Horn? It is the Roman Catholic Papacy. It's still
Roman. It has its headquarters in Rome. Its language is Latin, and it uses
Roman numerals. And by the way, the Pope is called the Pontifex Maximus, the
supreme pontiff, which is the name that was used for the emperors of Rome. So
it still is Rome, but it's a different Rome because it's a Rome that is a civil power, but it is also a
religious power because everything that the Little Horn does is
religious.
v It blasphemes
against God by claiming to be God, by claiming to have the power to forgive
sins.
v Not only that,
but it persecutes the saints of God.
v And the
characteristic that I want us to dwell on is that it thinks that it can change
God's Law.
setelah kekaisairan Roma terpecah? Roma yang lain? Ya. Apakah Roma tersebut
memerintah selama 1260 tahun? Ya.
v
Bukan hanya itu, tetapi dia mempersekusi
orang-orang kudus milik Allah.
v
Let's read Daniel 7:25 where this Little Horn is described.“25 He shall speak pompous words against the Most High, shall persecute the saints of the Most High,...” I'm reading from the New King James Version, “...and shall intend to change times and Law. Then the saints shall be given into His hand for a time and times and half a time.”
Do you notice here that we are told that this Little Horn would think to change
God's Law? Notice that it doesn't say that this power would think to abolish
God's Law or to get rid of God's Law. That's not what it says. It says that
this power would think in some way to change
God's Law. So, we have to look for a power that claims to have changed
God's Law in some way. Not abolished, but changed God's Law. Now, let's go to
Revelation chapter 14.
mengucapkan kata-kata besar (sombong)
menentang Yang Mahatinggi, akan mempersekusi
orang-orang kudus milik Yang Mahatinggi, …” saya membaca
Allah entah seperti apa. Bukan menghapusnya, tetapi mengubah Hukum Allah. Sekarang mari ke Wahyu pasal 14.
Daniel
chapter 7 is amplified ~ as we'll see this afternoon when we study about the
image of the Beast ~ It's amplified in Revelation chapter 13. What I want you
to understand for now until we study that this afternoon is that the Little Horn in Revelation 13 is represented as
a Beast that rises from the sea. In other words, the Little Horn is the
same as the Beast that rises from the sea in Revelation chapter 13, because
they do the same things. In Revelation 13, it says that:
v the Beast
speaks blasphemies against God.
v It says it
persecutes the saints of God.
v The Beast does the same thing that the Little Horn
did.
So,
we know that the Little Horn is the same as the Beast. That's an important
detail.
Daniel pasal 7
penting.
Now,
let's read Revelation 14:6 and 7. We're going to find that the First Angel’s Message commands us to worship
the Creator. Notice what it says. “6 Then I saw another
angel flying in the midst of Heaven, having the everlasting gospel to
preach to those who dwell on the earth—to every nation, tribe, tongue, and
people— 7 saying
with a loud voice, ‘Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment
has come;...” and now comes the key portion that I want us to focus
on, “...and worship Him who made Heaven and earth, the sea and
springs of water.’” The First Angel’s Message commands us to worship whom?
To worship the Creator. That's important.
Sekarang mari kita
baca Wahyu 14:6-7. Kita akan melihat bahwa Pekabaran
Malaikat Pertama memerintah kita untuk menyembah Sang Pencipta. Simak apa katanya,
“6
Lalu aku melihat seorang malaikat
semua mata air.’” Pekabaran Malaikat
Pertama memerintahkan kita untuk menyembah siapa? Menyembah Sang Pencipta. Ini penting.
Now,
the Creator has a sign or a seal. Let's
go to Revelation 7:2 and 3. It says there, “ 2 Then I saw another angel ascending from the
east, having...” what? “...the
seal of the living God. And He cried with a loud voice to the four angels to
whom it was granted to harm the earth and the sea, 3 saying, ‘Do not harm the earth, the sea,
or the trees till we have...” what? “...sealed
the servants of our God on their foreheads.’” So
let me ask you, does God the Creator have a seal that He places on the
foreheads of His servants or of His people? Yes.
Iya.
Now
let's notice the Third Angel's Message
which warns against false worship. See
the Revelation is a book of contrasts.
v First Angel
says, worship the Creator and He has His seal.
v The Third
Angel's Message says, don't worship the Beast or receive his mark.
Are
you seeing the contrast? Does the Beast have a mark? The Little Horn, same as
the Little Horn.
Notice
Revelation 14. We'll read verse 9 and then we'll read verse 11. “9 Then a Third Angel followed them, saying with a
loud voice, ‘If anyone...” what? Ah, okay. So, there's another power that demands
worship, right? “... ‘If
anyone worships the Beast and his image, and receives his...” what? So, does the
Beast have a mark, too? Does the
Little Horn have a mark? Do you think it might have something to do
with the change in God's Law? We're going to pursue that. So it says, “...and
receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand,...” And
then let's go to verse 11 “...11 ...and they have no rest day or night, who...” what? “...who worship the Beast and his image, and
whoever receives the mark of his...” what? “...the mark of his name.’”
So
you have God who requires our worship because He's the Creator and He has His seal.
On the other hand, the Beast demands worship. He has his mark and he demands
worship. Are you following me or not?
Sekarang mari
kita simak Pekabaran Malaikat Ketiga yang memperingatkan
terhadap penyembahan yang salah. Lihat, kitab Wahyu adalah kitab
yang banyak kontrasnya.
v
Malaikat Pertama mengatakan, sembahlah Sang
Pencipta, dan Dia memiliki meteraiNya.
v
Pekabaran Malaikat Ketiga mengatakan, jangan
menyembah Binatang itu atau menerima tandanya.
Apakah kalian
melihat kontrasnya? Apakah Binatang itu punya tanda? Tanduk Kecil itu, sama
dengan Tanduk Kecil itu.
Simak Wahyu 14. Kita akan membaca ayat 9, lalu kita akan membaca ayat
11. “9 Dan malaikat yang ketiga mengikuti mereka, dan
berkata dengan suara nyaring: ‘Jikalau
seorang…” apa?
Now
what gives God the right to demand our worship? Why does God have the right to
require us to worship Him? Let's read several texts from Scripture. 1 Chronicles 16:26. Here a contrast is drawn
between the true God and false gods. What distinguishes
the true God from all false gods? This text tells us, 1 Chronicles
16:26. “26 For all the gods of the
peoples are...” what? “...idols, but...” what? “...the Lord made the Heavens.”
What
distinguishes all false pretenders from the true God? The true God is the Creator. And because He's the Creator, He has
the right to require our worship.
Mengapa
Allah punya hak minta kita menyembah Dia? Mari kita baca beberapa ayat dari
Kitab Suci.
hak menuntut penyembahan kita.
Notice
Nehemiah 9:6. It says there, “6 You alone are the Lord;...” Why is He alone the Lord? “...You have...” what? “...made Heaven, the Heaven of Heavens,
with all their host, the earth and everything on it, the seas and all that
is in them, and You preserve them all. The host of Heaven worships You.” Why does the host of Heaven worship the Lord? Because
He made Heaven, the Heaven of Heavens and all their host, the earth and
everything in it, the seas in them, and He preserves everything. That's the
reason why He alone is the Lord, because He
is the Creator and therefore Heaven worships Him. We worship because He
is the Creator.
Simak Nehemia 9:6, dikatakan di sana, “6 Hanya
Engkau-lah TUHAN!…” mengapa hanya
Dia sendiri Tuhan?
Let's
go to Psalm 95:1-6. When I was pastor of Fresno Central Church, where I had the
privilege of pastoring half of my ministry, I was there for 20 years pastoring
that church. We always began our worship service with this passage. It says
this, Psalm 95:1-6. “1 Oh come, let us sing to the Lord! Let us shout joyfully to the
Rock of our salvation. 2 Let
us come before His presence with thanksgiving; let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms.3 For the Lord is the great God, and the great King above all gods. 4In His hand are the deep places of the
earth; the heights of the hills are
His also. 5 The
sea is His, for He made
it;...” let me ask you, why is everything His? Because He made
it. And it continues saying, “...and His hands formed the dry land....” Now,
what does our response need to be? Because everything is His because He made
it. Verse 6,
“...6 Oh come, let us worship and...” in
case you didn't understand “worship”, “...bow down...” unless you didn't understand “bow down”, “...Let us kneel...” Why? Why do we worship? bow down and kneel “...before the Lord our Maker.” Why do we worship the true God? Because He is the
Creator.
“sujud”, “…marilah kita berlutut…” mengapa? Mengapa kita menyembah,
But
now listen up. God gave us a sign to remember
that He is the Creator, a weekly sign so that we don't forget that
He's the Creator. A sign or a seal, if you please, God left us to remind us
that He is the Creator, every week. Go with me to Isaiah 66:22 and 23. Is God
someday going to make a new Heavens and a new earth? Does the Bible teach that
God is going to make a new Heavens and a new earth? That He's going to create
everything, recreate everything in this world and make a perfect world again?
Absolutely. Now, I want you to notice that Isaiah 66:22 and 23 is speaking
about when God creates a new Heavens and a new earth which He once created, the
Heavens and the earth. It says in Genesis, “In the beginning, God created the Heavens and the earth.” He's going to make a new Heavens and a new earth. Let
me ask you, what sign did God give in the book of Genesis that He was the
Creator and we owe Him His worship? The Sabbath. So the Creator, worship, and
the Sabbath are connected. Notice Isaiah 66:22 and 23. “22 ‘For
as the new Heavens and the new earth which I will make shall remain before
Me,’ says the Lord, ‘So shall
your descendants and your name remain. 23 And it shall come to pass that from one new moon to another...” we already discussed that this week. It really should be translated “month”.
Hundreds of times in the Old Testament, the word is translated “month”. And in
the Spanish version, it says “de mes en mes” because there's a tree that produces its fruit every
month. So, we're going to have to eat from the tree every month. So, it says, “from one month to another and from one Sunday to
another” Oh, okay. Good. You're still awake. Sometimes
I'll use that little method to see if you're still awake. It says, “...and from
one Sabbath to another...” see, it speaks about God the Creator, new Heavens and
new earth. Then it says here, “...from one Sabbath to another...” all the Jews… No, not all the Jews, “...all
flesh...” So if you have flesh and you're saved, you're going to
come. So it says “...all flesh shall come to..”
what? “...to worship before Me,’ says the Lord.”
Let
me ask you, is Creation, worship, and the Sabbath connected? Yes, we worship
God because He's the Creator. And the reminder even in the eternal future is Sabbath
to Sabbath we will go to worship before the Creator.
Tetapi sekarang dengarkan.
Dialah Sang Pencipta, setiap minggu.
Now,
in order to understand this, of course we have to go back to the original
Creation. So, let's go back to the original Creation. Go with me to Genesis
1:31 and we'll read through chapter 2:1.
So far so good? All right. So far so good. Genesis 1:31 says, “31 Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good. So the evening
and the morning were the sixth day...” Now, chapter 2:1 really should be the conclusion
of chapter 1. The chapter is divided in
the wrong place because it continues saying, "So…” it
was “…the evening and morning, the sixth
day. 1 Thus the Heavens and the earth,
and all the host of them, were...” what? “... finished...” What day did God finish His work? By the way, the Creator is Jesus. All things were made
through Him, the Bible says. So which day did He finish? He finished the sixth day according to
this, right? But now we got a little problem. The
very next verse tells us that He finished the seventh. How can you
finish something twice? Let's read chapter 2:2 and 3. “...2 And on the seventh day God ended
His work...” By the way, you say, well, it says “finished” in one
place and it says “ended” in the other. It's the identical Hebrew word. But I
think the translators, they didn’t wantm to say, "How can you finish
the sixth and also finish the seventh?" And so they put instead of “finished”,
“ended”. But it's the same Hebrew word. So it says,
“....2 And
on the seventh day God ended His work which He had done,...” we just read
that it was the sixth day. Ah, but notice what happens on the seventh day. It
says, “...and He rested on the seventh
day from all His work which He had done. 3 Then God...” did something with the seventh day. What
did He do? He rested first of all. Then it says, ‘...3 Then God blessed the
seventh day and sanctified it...” that means to
set something apart as holy. He separated from all the other days. So it says, “...God blessed the
seventh day and sanctified it...” Why did He do
that? “...because in it He rested from all His work
which God had created and made.”
“…selesai.…” Kapan Allah
menyelesaikan pekerjaanNya? Nah, Sang Pencipta adalah Yesus. Segala sesuatu
diciptakan melalui Dia, kata Alkitab. Maka pada hari mana Dia selesai? Menurut
How
do we explain the fact that God finished the sixth day and then finished the
seventh day? He finished His work the sixth day and He finishes His work the
seventh day. How do we explain that? Let me give you an illustration.
Let's imagine an individual that is going to paint a masterpiece,
you know, with brush and paint. And the first day he takes the wooden frame, he
staples the canvas to that wooden frame, adds some background colors, and after
he's worked the first day, he steps back and he says, "It's good."
The second day, he paints some clouds in the sky, a blue sky, gives the final
touches the second day and steps back and says, "Good." The
third day, the artist paints some beautiful trees with luscious fruit and some
green grass and some beautiful flowers, and he adds the touches to the canvas on
the third day, he steps back, he says, "It's good." On the
fourth day, he paints a radiant sun in the sky. And you know also the moon,
some days you can see the moon right in the daytime. And he finishes his work
this fourth day and he steps back. He says “It's good.” The fifth day he
paints some birds in the trees and flying through the skies, some fish that are
jumping out of the water. And he adds the final touches on the fifth day, steps
back and says, “It's good.” The sixth day he paints all kinds of land
animals, giraffes, and elephants, and cows and horses. And then he creates or
he paints a man and a woman standing in the midst of this beautiful place. And
then he looks, gives the final touches to his work of art, and he says, “It
is very good.” Is he finished? Is he finished? He's finished painting the
masterpiece. But what is missing? The signature that identified who painted it.
The Sabbath is God's signature that identifies who
made everything. Are you with me? So, did He finish the
sixth day? Yes, He finished the masterpiece on the sixth day. But on the seventh
day, He put on the masterpiece “author: God”. He put His signature.
That's how He finished twice. He finished the masterpiece on the sixth day, but
on the seventh day, He put His signature
identifying that He was the author of this.
Bagaimana kita
Hari keenam dia melukis
segala macam hewan darat, jerapah, gajah, sapi, kuda. Kemudian dia menciptakan
Dia menempatkan tandatanganNya. Demikianlah
bagaimana Dia selesai dua kali.
Let
me ask you this. When you go to get a legal document authorized, where do they
put the seal? Do they seal the document and then fill out the document? No. If
you're going to get a legal document, the legal document is written. It's
completed. And then where is the seal placed? The
seal is placed at the end, which shows that this is authentic. So God placed
His seal on His creative work to identify that He was the One who created
everything. It's the sign of the Creator. And He gave it to Adam and Eve to
remind them every week that He is the Creator.
Every Sabbath when we come to church, we are
confessing before the world that we believe that God is the Creator. We are reminded of that, so we don't get all hung up
in this world.
Coba saya tanya
ini. Bila kita mau mengesahkan sebuah dokumen hukum, di mana orang menempatkan
meterainya? Apakah mereka memeteraikan dulu dokumen itu kemudian baru diisi?
Tidak. Bila kita mau mendapatkan sebuah dokumen hukum, dokumen itu diisi dulu.
Diselesaikan. Kemudian di mana meterainya ditempatkan? Meterainya
Now,
the Sabbath then is God's seal or memorial of His work of Creation. Earlier
this week, we mentioned something about memorials. You know, let me give you an
example.
In New York City, you have a memorial that was built
where the World Trade Center towers came down. It's a fantastic memorial
really. And every September 11, multitudes come there and the names of the 3000
people that perished are read every September 11. The monument commemorates a
historical event that occurred in that place. Let me ask you, does the memorial
have to be celebrated on September 11 or can you celebrate it on December 11? Why
not on December 11? Because that's not when the event occurred. Events are rooted in history and so you have to
celebrate it when the original original event took place and in the very place
where the event took place. Correct? Now let's apply that to the
Sabbath.
Nah, kalau
World Trade Center hancur.
Benar? Sekarang mari kita aplikasikan itu kepada Sabat.
God
decided to establish a monument to commemorate Creation. What day did God
establish as a memorial of Creation? The seventh day. Can we celebrate Creation on the first day of the week? No. Because
that's not when God established the memorial of the historical event. You
have to commemorate Creation on the same day in which God established to
commemorate Creation.
You
say, "Oh, we celebrate Creation on Sunday."
You
can't do that because God did not establish Sunday as the day to commemorate
Creation.
You know, my wife and I this December will have been
married 54 years. It's a long time. “Here
is the patience of the saints”
on her part. But it's been very good, a very good 54 years. Almost 54 years. We
were married December 23, 1971. Let me ask you, what month and day do you think
we celebrate our anniversary? What day
do you think we celebrate our anniversary? January 23? No. Why not? Because
that's not when we were married. We celebrated every year on December 23. Could
we celebrate it in January? I suppose we could, but it's the wrong day. Because
that's not when the original event took place. Are you following me?
Allah memutuskan
untuk membuat sebuah monumen untuk memperingati Penciptaan. Hari apa yang
ditentukan Allah sebagai peringatan Penciptaan? Hari ketujuh. Bolehkah
baik, hampir 54 tahun. Kami menikah pada 23 Desember 1971. Coba saya tanya, menurut
kalian, bulan dan tanggal berapa kami merayakan ulangtahun perkawinan kami?
Menurut kalian kapan kami merayakan ulangtahun perkawinan kami? Januari 23?
Tidak! Mengapa tidak? Karena itu bukan hari ketika kami menikah. Kami
merayakannya setiap tahun pada 23 Desember. Bisakah kami merayakannya di bulan
Januari?
Apakah kalian mengikuti saya?
The
last three popes, John Paul II, Benedict XVI, and Francis I, have all written,
and I have quotations, I don't have time to read them, where they say that “church commemorates Creation on Sunday”. Not possible.
Tiga Paus
terakhir, Yohanes Paulus II, Benedictus XVI, dan Francis I, semuanya pernah
hari Minggu.” Tidak bisa.
Now
listen carefully to what I'm going to say. Monuments are built in the place
where the original event took place. You don't have the World Trade memorial in
Hammond. The memorial is in the place where the event occurred. Correct? Now
God needed to establish a monument of Creation. He could not create a monument
in a certain place because if God placed the monument of Creation in Hammond,
the Chinese would say, "How do they rate?" God had to make a global memorial because
the original event was global. The Creation of the world was the whole world.
So He had to make a memorial that was worldwide. But how could He do that? Very
simply, He made a memorial made of time.
And we don't come to the memorial. The memorial comes to us every week. Are you catching the point?
Dengarkan
baik-baik apa yang akan saya katakan. Monumen-monumen dibangun di tempat di
mana peristiwa yang asli terjadi. Monumen peringatan World Trade tidak ada di
Hammond.
Apakah kalian menangkap poinnya?
Now
then the Sabbath is God's seal or God's sign that He is the Creator. And He knew
that we might forget it. So He began the Fourth Commandment: “Remember the Sabbath day to keep it Holy.” The Fourth Commandment of God's Law begins “remember”.
Why would God say “remember”? Because we might forget. You know, my wife tells
me many times, “Remember. Remember to go to the supermarket and get this.”
God tells us to remember the seventh day. It's a sign, a memorial. Are you with
me or not? So, the Sabbath is a memorial of
Creation. The Sabbath comes after six days of labor. The Sabbath is the
seventh day of the week.
Nah, Sabat
kekudusannya.” Perintah
Keempat Hukum Allah dimulai dengan kata “Ingatlah”. Mengapa Allah mengatakan
“Ingatlah”? Karena kita bisa lupa. Kalian tahu, istri saya sering mengatakan
kepada saya, “Ingatlah. Ingatlah ke supermarket untuk membeli ini.” Allah menyuruh
kita mengingat hari ketujuh. Itu sebuah tanda, sebuah peringatan. Apakah kalian
mengikuti saya atau tidak? Jadi Sabat itu peringatan Penciptaan. Sabat
muncul setelah enam hari kerja. Sabat itu hari ketujuh dalam satu minggu.
And
God did three things with the Sabbath.
v He rested,
v He blessed,
v and He made holy.
Dan Allah
melakukan tiga hal terkait Sabat:
v
Dia berhenti,
v
Dia memberkati,
v
dan Dia menjadikannya kudus.
Now,
let me ask you, is the Sabbath of the Fourth
Commandment the same Sabbath of Genesis? The same Sabbath of Creation, the Fourth Commandment? Of course,
it is. Let's read the Fourth Commandment. Exodus 20:8-11. And I want you to
notice that it has the same elements that we read regarding Creation. It says, “8 Remember the Sabbath day, to
keep it holy. 9 Six
days you shall labor and do all your work, 10 but the...” what? Which day is the Sabbath? Let me ask you, doesn't it make more sense to believe that you
should rest on Sabbath after a week of labor rather than resting
the first day, which is the first work day? Did you understand that point? If
you're resting the first day of the week, you're resting the first day of work.
If you're resting the seventh day, you're resting after six days of work. Doesn't make sense to rest on the first day of
work because work and rest are totally opposites. So it says, “...8 Remember the Sabbath day, to
keep it holy. 9 Six
days you shall labor and do all your work, 10 but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the...” the Jews, no, no, no,
“...is the Sabbath
of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work:...” Now it's okay to do church related work because that's spiritual. It's
regular work that we do every day. So it says, “...In it you shall do no work; you,
nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female
servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates...” And now comes
the reason. The reason why God says “work six and rest on the seventh”.
Here comes the reason, “...11 For...” verse 11,
“for” that means “because”, “...11 For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all
that is in them, and
rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.”
Sekarang coba saya tanya, apakah Sabat Perintah Keempat itu sama
dengan Sabat kitab Kejadian, Sabat Penciptaan?
Sabat Perintah Keempat? Tentu saja, iya. Mari kita baca Perintah Keempat.
Dikatakan, “8 Ingatlah hari
Sabat, untuk dipelihara
kekudusannya, 9
enam hari lamanya engkau harus bekerja dan
melakukan segala pekerjaanmu, 10 tetapi…” apa?
Itulah sebabnya TUHAN
memberkati hari Sabat dan menguduskannya.”
Are
all those elements in the Genesis story? Does it say in Genesis that God
rested? Does it say that God blessed the day? Does it say that God sanctified
the day? Does it say that the Sabbath is the seventh day? So, is the Fourth
Commandment something that God gives first to the Jews? No! It takes us all the
way back to where? Creation. To Creation.
Apakah semua
unsur itu ada di kisah Kejadian? Apakah di Kejadian dikatakan bahwa Allah
berhenti dari pekerjaanNya? Apakah dikatakan bahwa Allah memberkati hari itu?
Apakah dikatakan bahwa Allah menguduskan hari itu? Apakah dikatakan bahwa Sabat
itu hari ketujuh? Jadi, apakah Perintah Keempat sesuatu yang Allah berikan
pertama kepada bangsa Yahudi? Tidak! Itu semua berawal jauh sebelumnya, saat
kapan? Penciptaan. Berawal di Penciptaan.
Now,
go with me to Psalm 24:1 and 2.
You
say, “When are we going to get to the mark of the Beast?"
Well,
we have to study all this first. We have to study about God's mark and then
we'll see what the counterfeit is.
Psalm
24:1:2. “1The earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness,...”
in other words, the earth and everything
in it is the Lord's, “...the world and those who dwell therein...”
Let me ask you, why is it that
everything in the world is the Lord's? Let's read verse 2, “...2 For...” that
means “because”, “...2 For He has founded it
upon the seas and established it upon the waters...” Let me ask you:
v to whom does
the light belong? He created the first day light. To whom does light belong? To
God. Why? Because He made it.
v To whom does
the firmament that God made the second day? To whom does the firmament belong?
To God. Why? Because He made it.
v To whom does
the vegetation on earth belong? To God. Why? Because He made it.
v To whom do the
sun, moon, and stars belong? To God. Why? Because He made them.
v To whom do the
birds and the fish belong? To God. Why? Because He made them.
v To whom do the
beasts on earth belong? To God. Why? Because He made them.
v To whom do
human beings belong? To God. Why? Because He made them.
v To whom does
the Sabbath belong? To the Jews. Who made the Sabbath? Jesus said the Sabbath
was made for man. If God made the Sabbath, it's His Sabbath. It's not the
Sabbath of the Jews.
Are
you with me or not? It is His Sabbath. And that's the reason not once in all of
the Bible is the Sabbath called “the Sabbath of the Jews”. Never it is called
the Jewish Sabbath, like the Christian world says, "Oh, the Sabbath,
that was for the Jews." No. God gave the Sabbath to Adam and Eve. We
noticed it. It's in the Fourth Commandment.
Sekarang mari
atas air-air…” Coba saya
tanya,
v terang itu milik siapa? Dia
menciptakan terang di hari pertama. Terang itu milik siapa? Milik Allah.
Mengapa? Allah yang menciptakannya.
v Cakrawala yang diciptakanNya di
hari kedua itu milik siapa? Milik Allah. Mengapa? Karena Dia yang telah
menciptakannya.
v Tumbuh-tumbuhan di bumi itu milik
siapa? Milik Allah. Mengapa? Karena Allah yang menciptakannya.
v Milik siapa matahari, bulan, dan
bintang-bintang? Milik Allah. Mengapa? Karena Dia yang menciptakan mereka.
v Milik siapa burung-burung dan
ikan-ikan? Milik Allah. Mengapa? Karena Dia yang telah menciptakan mereka.
v Milik siapa hewan-hewan di bumi?
Milik Allah. Mengapa? Karena Dia yang telah menciptakan mereka.
v Milik siapa manusia? Milik Allah.
Mengapa? Karena Dia yang telah menciptakan mereka.
v Sabat itu milik siapa? Milik
orang Yahudi.
Allah
memberikan Sabat kepada Adam dan Hawa. Kita sudah menyimak itu. Itu ada di
Perintah Keempat.
Let
me ask you, to whom did God give the Ten
Commandments? He gave it to the Jews,
right? Did God give the commandments to the Jewish nation? Yes. When they were
at Mount Sinai, He gave them to the Jews. So, some people say, "Well,
the Sabbath is of the Jews, but all of the other commandments apply to
everybody." Huh? We can't pick and choose. We can't say of all the Ten
Commandments, oh yeah, adultery is wrong for everybody, not only for the Jews.
Stealing is wrong for everybody, including the Jews. But when it comes to the
Sabbath, it's only for the Jews. It's absurd. God
did give the Ten Commandments to the Jews because they were His people at that
particular time. But it doesn't mean that they were exclusively for the
Jews. Are you following me or not?
Coba saya tanya,
kepada siapa Allah memberikan Ke-10 PerintahNya? Dia
memberikannya kepada bangsa Yahudi, benar? Apakah Allah
memberikan perintah-perintahNya kepada bangsa Yahudi? Ya. Ketika mereka berada
Apakah kalian mengikuti saya
atau tidak?
That's
why in the Bible in Exodus 16:23, the Sabbath is spoken as “a holy Sabbath to the Lord”.
In
Exodus 20:10, it says, “the Sabbath of the Lord your God”.
In
Ezekiel 20:20 it says, God says, you shall keep “My Sabbaths”, God says.
In
Isaiah 58:13 and 14 God refers, He says, take away your foot from “My holy day.”
And
Jesus said I am “the Lord of the Sabbath”. It's His. It does not belong to the Jews.
The
Sabbath is God's seal that He placed on Creation. It's the seal that is placed
on the foreheads of His people who are faithful in keeping His Law, particularly
the Sabbath, as the sign between Him and them.
Itulah mengapa
I
want to read a statement that we find in the book Patriarchs and Prophets, page 307. The Sabbath is God's seal in the
Ten Commandments because it has three specific elements. Ellen White wrote, “…The Fourth Commandment is the only one of all the 10 in which
are found both the name and title of the Lawgiver. It is the only one that
shows by whose authority the Law was given. Thus it contains the Seal of
God affixed to His Law as evidence of
its authenticity and binding force.”
Saya mau
mana terdapat baik nama maupun jabatan Sang Pembuat Hukum.
What
does a seal need to contain? A seal needs to contain three characteristics.
1.
First of all, it needs to have the name
of the person.
2.
Secondly, it has to have to do with the
office that the person occupies.
3.
And number three, the territory over
which that person rules.
The
Fourth Commandment is the only of the Ten Commandments that has all three
characteristics of a seal.
Sebuah meterai
perlu punya apa? Meterai perlu punya tiga karakteristik ini:
1.
Pertama, harus ada nama
individunya.
2.
Kedua, harus ada jabatan
yang dipegang individu tersebut.
3.
Dan ketiga, ada
kawasan/daerah di mana individu tersebut berkuasa.
Perintah Keempat
karakteristik sebuah meterai.
Notice
verse 11 of Exodus 20. “ 11 For in six days the Lord...”
that’s His name, “...made...” that's His function or His office. He's the Creator,
“...the heavens and the earth, the sea,...” that's His territory. So you have His name; His office
or His task: Creator; and you have the territory over which He governs.
diperintahNya.
Now,
I want to share something with you that I discovered when I was studying at
Andrews University. During spring break and other times when we didn't have
classes, I would go to the James White Library and I would kind of go through
the books on the shelves because I wanted to photocopy what would be valuable
later on in my ministry and put it in my file. And one day I was going, this
was during spring break, I was going through books on a certain bookcase and I
saw these great big green books and I said, "What? I wonder what these
books are." The title of the books, several volumes, was Ugaritica, that's a language, an ancient dead
language of Canaan. Ugaritica. So I said, I was curious. So, I took down one of
the volumes. I started leafing through it and suddenly I turned to a page that
arrested my attention and I kept on working through and I noticed several
interesting illustrations of ancient tablets that were written around the same
time that God gave the Ten Commandments. Now, what was on those tablets? Well,
I'm going to give you the characteristics.
1.
Number one, they were covenants.
Covenants between a great king and the
king's subject. A covenant is an agreement. Basically, the great king
guaranteed protection to the lesser individual as long as the lesser individual
rendered obedience to the king. So these were covenants and there were several
tablets that have the same characteristics.
2.
Secondly, the covenants were written on
tablets of clay. So they were written on tablets.
3.
Another characteristic is that the
tablets were written on both sides.
The same thing that was written on the
front side was also repeated on the back side. I found that curious and I'm
going to tell you the reason why.
In the middle of the tablet on one side, these were tablets of clay, so when the clay was
soft, the great king who made the
covenant with a lesser king had a seal and he would
impress the seal in the middle of one side of the tablet to show that
this covenant was authentic. Of course, when he impressed the seal on one side,
the seal obliterated some of the writing.
And that's the reason why the same was
written on the back side. The front side had the seal showing that it
was authentic and then you could read the whole thing on the back side. And
interestingly enough on that seal were three things.
1)
The name of the king that was making the
covenant, it had a funny name, “Suppiluliuma”.
2) his title Suppiluliuma, “King”, and
3) his territory “of the city of Ugarit”.
So we don't have to use the presidential
seal of the United States like we usually do. We say, well you know the seal of
the United States of the President has his name, right? Donald Trump. It has
also what is his office? He's President. And his territory, United States of
America. But this goes all the way back. The three elements necessary to
identify who is making the covenant.
And
the Fourth Commandment is the only
commandment that contains God's seal. All three characteristics.
terdapat tiga hal:
1)
Nama raja yang membuat
perjanjian itu. Namanya lucu, “Suppiluliuma”.
2) jabatan Suppiluliuma
itu, “Raja”, dan
3) kawasan
kekuasaannya “dari kota Ugarit”.
Jadi kita tidak perlu menggunakan stempel kepresidenan
Amerika Serikat seperti yang biasanya kita lakukan, di mana kita berkata, “Nah, stempel Presiden Amerika Serikat mengandung namanya”, benar? Donald
Trump. Itu juga ada jabatannya, apa jabatannya? Dia Presidennya. Dan daerah
kekuasaannya: Amerika Serikat. Tetapi ini sudah ada jauh sebelumnya. Ketiga
Semua ketiga karakteristiknya.
Now,
here's something interesting. Are the Ten Commandments God's covenant? Go with
me to Deuteronomy 4:13. The Ten Commandments
are God's covenant with Israel, with His people. It says, “13 So He declared to you His covenant which He commanded you to
perform,...” and then it
says what the covenant is, “...the Ten
Commandments; and He wrote them on two tablets of stone.”
So
what is God's covenant? The Ten Commandments. Is it a covenant between Him and
His people? Yes.
Nah, ini ada yang menarik. Apakah Ke-10 Perintah Allah itu perjanjian
dari Allah? Mari bersama saya ke Ulangan 4:13. Ke-10 Perintah
Ke-10 Perintah Allah. Apakah itu sebuah
perjanjian antara Dia dengan umatNya? Ya.
Now,
here's a detail that many people don't know about. The Ten Commandments were writen on both sides of the tablet.
You
say, “Really?”
Exodus
32:15 and 16. “15 And Moses turned and went
down from the mountain, and the two tablets of the Testimony were in his hand. The
tablets were written
on both sides;...” because
that was the way things were done back then
“...were written on both sides; on the one side and on the other they were written. 16 Now the tablets were
the work of God, and the writing was
the writing of God engraved on the tablets.”
Nah, di sini ada
sebuah detail yang tidak diketahui banyak orang. Ke-10 Perintah
Allah itu tertulis dikedua permukaan loh-loh batu itu.
Kalian berkata, “Masa?”
And
by the way, in the Fourth Commandment, in
the very center of the tablet, you have God's seal, the Sabbath, with His name,
His function or office, and the territory over which He rules. The only
commandment that identifies the Lawgiver. And that's the reason why the Sabbath is the sign or the seal of the true
God.
Notice
Exodus 31:17 where it's spoken, the Sabbath is spoken of as God's sign. It says
there, “ 17 It is a sign between Me and the
children of Israel forever;...” not
only Israel but Israel is His people at that moment
“...17 It is a sign between Me and the
children of Israel forever...” Now comes the reason
“...for in six
days the Lord made the
heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day He rested and was refreshed.’...”
The Sabbath is a sign of whom? The
Creator. Because it says here “a
sign” because “in six days the Lord made the Heavens and the earth
and on the seventh day He rested and was refreshed.”
Notice
also Ezekiel 20:12. Once again, the Sabbath is spoken as God's sign. Here God
says, "Hallow…," that means “keep holy”. "…Hallow My Sabbath." And there will be a what? “A sign between Me and you, that you might know that I
am the Lord your God.” What is the
sign that shows that God is our God? The
Sabbath is the sign. Is that going to be the identifying sign of those who worship the Creator at the end of time?
Simak juga Yehezkiel 20:12. Sekali lagi, Sabat disebut sebagai tanda
Allah.
Do
you think the Devil's going to have a counterfeit? Think he's going to make a
change? Who does he use to make the change? The Little Horn. Are you following
me or not? Satan has a counter for
everything that God has true. And let me say this, the counterfeit
usually comes after the genuine. See, the government of the United States makes
a $100 bill. The counterfeits then make a counterfeit $100 bill. It's not the
case that the counterfeits make a $7 bill and the government says, "Hey,
let me make a genuine one, too.”
What
is God's genuine day of worship according to the Bible? The Sabbath. Would you
expect a counterfeit day later on which is also 24 hours? The sun rises and
sets on that day. You would expect the counterfeit, a rival day, a changed day.
Do we see that change in the world today? Yes. Which day does practically the
entire Christian world keep? Sunday as a day
of rest. It's a counterfeit. It's the Devil's counterfeit. It exalts
the Little Horn who claims to have changed the day. It doesn't exalt God who established the original day. It exalts
the power that claims to have changed the day of rest.
Menurut kalian
apakah Iblis akan membuat yang palsu? Kalian pikir dia akan membuat perubahan?
Siapa yang dipakainya untuk membuat perubahan itu? Si Tanduk Kecil. Apakah
Lihat,
pemerintah Amerika Serikat mencetak uang kertas nominal 100 dollar. Pemalsu
kemudian membuat uang kertas nominal 100 dollar palsu.
Ya. Hari mana yang
dipelihara nyaris seluruh dunia Kristen? Hari Minggu sebagai hari
perhentian.
Now,
as we close, let me read you some statements from the Roman Catholic Church. And
I want you to notice the word “change”. That's a key word, “change”. What does
Daniel chapter 7 say about the Little Horn? “It thought it could” what? Not abolish the Law, but “change it”
in some way. I'm going to read you several statements now. I have about 14
pages. I'm only going to read a sampling where the word “change” is used. Let
me ask you, if the Papacy changed God's Law,
it would have to claim to be God because only God could change His Law.
He's not going to. But if anybody was going to change it, it would have to be
God, not a human being. Notice this statement.
Allah, bukan seorang manusia. Simak pernyataan ini.
This
is John Gilmary Shea who was a Roman Catholic historian.
“For ages all Christian
nations looked to the Catholic Church, and, as we have seen, the various states
enforced by law her (the church’s) ordinances as to worship and cessation of
labor on Sunday...” in
other words, the civil powers did what the church said, enforcing Sunday. Now he
says this to Protestants, “...Protestantism, in discarding the
authority of the Church, has no good reason for its Sunday theory, and ought
logically, to keep Saturday as the Sabbath...”
Protestant should keep Saturday as the
Sabbath. “...The State in passing laws for the due sanctification
of Sunday, is unwittingly acknowledging the authority of the Catholic Church,
and carrying out more or less faithfully its prescription. The Sunday as a day
of the week set apart for the obligatory public worship of Almighty God is
purely a creation of the Catholic Church."-- This is what he
says.
Ini John Gilmary Shea yang adalah seorang
sejarahwan Roma Katolik. “…Selama
(The
American Catholic Quarterly Review, January 1883, p. 139). Inilah yang dia katakan.
Here's
another one. This is in a magazine that was published years ago by the Roman
Catholic Church. Our Sunday Visitor, February
5, 1950. "Protestants...
accept Sunday rather than Saturday as the day for public worship after the
Catholic Church made the change. But the Protestant mind does not seem to
realize that in observing the Sunday, they are accepting the authority of the
spokesman for the church, the Pope."
So when Protestants keep Sunday, are
they obeying God? Who are they obeying? The power that claims to have changed
the day.
Roma Katolik. Our Sunday Visitor, 5 Februari 1950.
Minggu, mereka menerima autoritas jurubicara gereja Katolik: yaitu Paus.” Jadi ketika Protestan memelihara hari Minggu,
apakah mereka mematuhi Allah? Siapa yang mereka patuhi? Kekuasaan yang
mengklaim telah mengubah hari itu.
Here's
another one. This is Lewis Seagur, a French
Roman Catholic prelate and apologist and later he was a diplomatic and judicial
official at Rome. These are not insignificant individuals.
"Question: What Bible
authority is there for changing the Sabbath from the seventh to the first day
of the week?...” He's asking the question. What Bible authority is
there for changing the Sabbath from the seventh to the first day of the week?
“...Who gave the Pope the authority to change a command of God?...” Now
he answers his own question.
Answer: It was the Catholic Church
which, by the authority of Jesus Christ has transferred this rest [from the
Bible Sabbath] to the Sunday ...” listen carefully, he's going to speak about
Protestants now. “...Thus the observance of Sunday by the
Protestants is an homage they pay, in spite of themselves, to the authority of
the [Catholic] Church." Whose authority are Protestants obeying when they keep
Sunday? The authority of the power that claims to have changed the day. Are you
with me?
Ini ada yang
lain.
Perintah Allah?…” sekarang dia menjawab pertanyaannya sendiri.
Jawaban:
“Gereja
(Monsignor Segur, Plain Talk About the
Protestantism of Today ~ Boston:
Thomas B. Noonan &
Co.,
1868, hal. 213.) (210) …” Autoritas siapa yang dipatuhi Protestan ketika mereka memelihara hari
Minggu? Apakah
kalian mengikuti saya?
Now,
let me read another one. "Prove
to me from the Bible alone...” this is Thomas Enright
for many years president of Redemptorist College in Kansas City, Missouri. He said,
February 18, this is 1884, "Prove
to me from the Bible alone that I am bound to keep Sunday holy. There is no
such law in the Bible...” this Roman Catholic
scholar says, “...It is a law of the holy Catholic Church
alone. The Bible says 'Remember the
Sabbath day to keep it holy.' The Catholic Church says, ‘No. By my divine
power I abolish the Sabbath day and command you to keep holy the first day of
the week. And lo! The entire civilized world bows down in reverent obedience to
the command of the Holy Catholic Church."
It's an amazing statement.
Sekarang saya
Alkitab berkata ‘Ingatlah hari Sabat,
peliharalah kekudusannya’. Gereja Katolik berkata, ‘Tidak.
(printed
in the Hartford Kansas Weekly Call, February
22, 1884, and the American Sentinel, a New
York Roman Catholic journal in June 1893, page 173. Pernyataan yang mengagumkan.
Maybe
I'll just read one more. This is from John
O'Brien who for many years was a teacher of theology at Notre Dame University, which is not very far
from here. I think it's in Indiana, isn't it? Notre Dame, Indiana, near Andrews
University. He taught for over 40 years there and wrote dozens of books
defending Roman Catholic theology. And this is a significant statement that he
makes. It's found in his book, The Faith of
Millions, pages 441. This is what he says. “The Church received the authority to make such a change
from her Founder, Jesus Christ...” Where
in the Bible does it say that that the Founder of the church, Jesus Christ,
gave the the church the authority to change the day? Where does the Bible say
that? Nowhere! “...The Church received the authority to make such a change
from her Founder, Jesus Christ. He solemnly
conferred upon His Church. the power
to legislate, govern and administer, the power
of the keys. It is to be noted that the Church did not change the divine law obliging men to worship, but merely changed the day in which such public worship was to be
offered;...” That's ridiculous. The Catholic Church didn't change
the need to worship. It simply changed the day on which you're supposed to
worship. Even a child can understand that argument that that argument is
flawed. He continues, “....But since Saturday not Sunday is specified in
the Bible, isn't it curious that non-Catholics...” he's
referring to Protestants, “...that
non-Catholics who profess to take their religion directly from the Bible and
not from the church, observes Sunday instead of Saturday? Yes, of course it is
inconsistent. But this change...” notice once again the key word, “...But this change was made about 15 centuries before
Protestantism was born and by that time
the custom was universally observed. Protestants have continued the custom, even though it rests upon the
authority of the Catholic Church and not upon an explicit text in the Bible...”
He's
being honest there. And now comes this key part. As Adventists, we know that
Protestants are going to join Roman Catholics in the enforcement of Sunday as a
day of worship. And eventually, there will be a decree, a death decree against
those who do not observe the counterfeit day of worship. Protestants are going
to come back to mother. They're going to come back to the mother church from
which they were born in the Protestant Reformation. Notice these interesting
words that he spoke. “...,That
observance...” of Sunday, “...remains as a reminder of the Mother
Church from which the non-Catholic sects broke away, like a boy running away
from home but still carrying in his pocket a picture of his mother or a lock of
her hair…”
Mungkin saya
menulis lusinan buku membela theologi Roma Katolik. Dan ini adalah pernyataan
yang signifikan yang dibuatnya. Ada di bukunya The Faith of Millions hal. 441.
ibunya …”
Do
you know why Protestants are going
to return to the mother? Because they were never
able to sever their relationship with the mother. They keep the same
day of worship contrary to the Bible. They teach that the dead are not dead
like the mother church. They teach that hell burns forever like the mother
church. Some Protestant denominations baptize infants by sprinkling.
Protestantism never totally severed their relationship from the mother church
from which they departed and therefore they will return to the mother church.
They will join the mother church in enforcing Sunday as a day of worship.
Tahukah kalian
ibu. Mereka memelihara hari ibadah yang sama, bertentangan
dengan Alkitab. Mereka mengajarkan
orang-orang mati tidak mati sama seperti gereja ibu. Mereka mengajar bahwa
neraka selamanya terbakar sama seperti gereja ibu. Beberapa denominasi
ibadah.
But
God will have a people that keep the commandments of God as God gave them in
His Holy Law, unchanged, because God does not change. He is the same yesterday,
today and forever. If the Sabbath is a memorial of Creation, that means that we
must commemorate the Creation on the same day in which the memorial was
established. I mean even a child can understand that.
Tetapi Allah
Bahkan seorang
anak bisa memahami ini.
Now
here's my final point. The observance of the Sabbath or Sunday is not a matter
merely of days. And I mentioned this in a previous presentation. Behind the issue of the day is whose authority we
obey. It's the same trial that Adam and Eve had in the Garden of Eden, except
in the Garden of Eden, the test was a tree. At the end, the test is going to be
a day. Let me explain it this way. Adam and Eve had the choice to either listen
to the voice of God or to the voice of the serpent, right? If they obeyed the
word of God and did not eat from the tree, they would be saved. They would be
recognizing the authority of God, they would be obedient to God by obeying His
word and abstaining from eating from the tree.
On
the other hand, the serpent said, "No, go ahead and eat from the
tree." It's the serpent's word. So behind is the issue, will we obey
God's word or the serpent's word? Will we recognize God's authority or the
serpent's authority? Will we be obedient to God or will we be obedient to the
serpent? And this tree was the way to test whose authority they would accept
and obey.
Nah, ini poin
terakhir saya.
patuhi.
At
the end of time, the trial is the same. Only the issue is the day. God says, "Keep
My holy Sabbath." If we keep His holy Sabbath, we are recognizing His authority
and we are being obedient to His word. If we observe Sunday as a day of rest
knowingly ~ there's many sincere Christians in all churches who keep Sunday and
you know because they've heard from their ministers that they're supposed to
keep Sunday, they're sincere, they love the Lord, they don't know any better, and
God recognizes that. He doesn't expect anything where something has not been
understood it has to be rejected ~ then God holds the person accountable.
Di akhir masa,
ujiannya sama. Hanya isunya adalah sebuah hari. Allah berkata, “Pelihara SabatKu yang kudus.” Jika kita memelihara SabatNya yang
kudus, kita mengakui autoritasNya dan kita mematuhi FirmanNya. Jika kita
ditolak.
But
the test at the end of time is between the word of the Little Horn “Keep the
day as it's been changed”, in that way, we're showing loyalty and obedience
to the Little Horn; or God says, "Keep My Holy Sabbath and that way you
will be showing that you accept My authority and you are obedient to Me."
That's
why the Sabbath is the seal of God
and Sunday is the mark of the Beast.
It's a sign of whom we will be loyal and obedient to. The only difference
between the beginning and the end is that at the beginning the test of
obedience was a tree. At the end the test of obedience is a day. Are you
understanding this? So we know now what the mark of the Beast is.
Apakah kalian
memahami ini? Jadi sekarang kita tahu apa itu tanda Binatang.
But
now we need to ask the question, what is the
image of the Beast? Very important to know what the image is. The mark is not the same as the image. So,
don't miss the next exciting episode this afternoon.
Tetapi sekarang
kita perlu mengajukan pertanyaannya, apa itu patung Binatang?
Sangat penting untuk mengetahui apa patung itu. Tanda Binatang
tidak sama dengan patung Binatang. Jadi jangan melewatkan
episode berikut yang menarik sore ini.
