As we looked at the first section up to chapter 4 of Zechariah in our last discussion, and now we get to some very fascinating prophecies. And if you read the commentaries that we find out there in the world from various sources, then most of these prophecies they apply only to the time of Israel. But I think it is pretty apparent that these prophecies work their way through to the coming of Christ ~ which could have happened in literal Israel had they fulfilled the conditions of the Covenant ~ but we know that these promises were passed on to spiritual Israel, because Paul says so  in his writings.

So as we look at these prophecies let us see where we can find parallels with the time that we are living in as well, and with the book of Revelation, because much of the imagery that we find in the book of Zechariah we also find in the book of Revelation; so they are linked together.

Di bagian pertama kita menyimak hingga pasal 4 Zakharia di pembahasan kita yang terakhir, dan sekarang kita tiba di beberapa nubuatan yang sangat menarik. Jika kita membaca beberapa komentar yang ada di dunia luar sana dari pelbagai sumber, maka kebanyakan nubuatan-nubuatan ini mereka aplikasikan hanya ke zaman Israel. Tetapi menurut saya jelas sekali bahwa nubuatan-nubuatan ini berlanjut hingga ke kedatangan Kristus ~ yang memang bisa terjadi di zaman Israel literal seandainya mereka memenuhi persyaratan Perjanjiannya ~ namun kita tahu bahwa janji-janji ini dipindahkan ke Israel spiritual, karena Paulus berkata demikian dalam tulisan-tulisannya.

Maka sementara kita menyimak nubuatan-nubuatan ini mari kita lihat di mana kita bisa menemukan paralelnya dengan masa di mana kita hidup sekarang, dan juga dengan kitab Wahyu; jadi mereka berkaitan.

 

 

FIFTH VISION

Zechariah 4:1-3

“¹ And the angel that talked with me came again, and waked me, as a man that is wakened out of his sleep…” we're now going to discuss the fifth vision.  “…² And said unto me, ‘What seest thou?’ And I said, ‘I have looked, and behold a candlestick all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and his seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which are upon the top thereof…” So this is distinct sanctuary language. The plan of salvation is written in sanctuary language. We also find in the book of Revelation where the Author of Revelation, who is Jesus Christ, is introduced. He also stands amidst the candlesticks. “…³ And two olive trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl, and the other upon the left side thereof…” Now we know that in the literal sanctuary there were no olive trees next to the candlestick, so these are symbolic. Some people who want to read this literally will make these individuals. But they cannot be individuals, they are symbolic of the oil that is to nurture the candlestick. 

 

PENGLIHATAN KELIMA

Zakharia 4:1-3

“¹ Dan malaikat yang berbicara dengan aku, datang kembali, dan membangunkan aku, seperti orang yang dibangunkan dari tidurnya…”  kita sekarang akan membahas penglihatan kelima.   “…² Dan berkata kepadaku, ‘Apa yang engkau lihat?’ Dan aku berkata, ‘Aku sudah melihat, dan  tampak sebuah kandil (kaki dian) dari emas seluruhnya, dengan sebuah cawan di bagian atasnya; dan ketujuh pelita di atas itu, dan tujuh pipa (corot) menuju ketujuh pelita yang ada di bagian atasnya itu…”  Jadi ini jelas bahasa Bait Suci. Rancangan keselamatan ditulis dalam bahasa Bait Suci. Kita juga melihat di kitab Wahyu di mana Pengarang kitab Wahyu yaitu Yesus Kristus diperkenalkan. Dia juga berdiri di antara kaki dian (kandil).   “…³ Dan dua pohon zaitun di sampingnya, satu di sebelah kanan cawan minyak itu, dan satu di sebelah kirinya…”  Nah, kita tahu di Bait Suci yang literal tidak ada pohon zaitun di sebelah kaki dian, jadi ini simbolis. Beberapa orang yang mau mengartikan ini literal, menganggap dua pohon zaitun ini manusia. Tetapi mereka tidak mungkin manusia, mereka adalah simbol dari minyak untuk memberi bahan asupan ke kaki dian itu.

 

 

Zechariah 4:4-6

“⁴ So I answered and spake to the angel that talked with me, saying, ‘What are these, my lord?’ ⁵ Then the angel that talked with me answered and said unto me, ‘Knowest thou not what these be?’ And I said, ‘No, my lord.’ ⁶ Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, ‘This is the Word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ saith the LORD of hosts.”

The candlestick, seven lamps attached to it, represents Jesus Christ, the light of the world. The number seven is evidently the number of deity. In the book of Revelation, you have the letters to the Seven Churches, representing a time period. So here we have the Light of the world, we have the olive branches standing next to it, and they are supplying oil to the lamps. And it is clear that it says, “…‘This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ saith the LORD of hosts.” So here you have the controlling power of the universe, the Spirit of God is in control, whether we can see it or not, It is in control.

 

Zakharia 4:4-6

“⁴ Lalu aku menjawab dan bicara kepada malaikat yang berbicara dengan aku, ‘Apakah semua ini, tuanku?’ ⁵ Lalu malaikat yang berbicara dengan aku menjawab dan berkata kepadaku,  ‘Tidakkah engkau tahu, apa semua ini?’ Dan aku berkata, ‘Tidak, tuanku.’ ⁶ Lalu ia menjawab dan berkata kepadaku, katanya: ‘Inilah Firman TUHAN kepada Zerubabel, mengatakan, Bukan dengan keperkasaan maupun dengan kekuatan, melainkan dengan Roh-Ku,’ firman TUHAN semesta alam.”

Kaki dian, tujuh pelita yang melekat padanya, melambangkan Yesus Kristus, Terang dunia. Angka 7 jelas adalah angka ilahi. Di kitab Wahyu ada surat-surat kepada Ketujuh Jemaat, melambangkan suatu periode waktu. Jadi di sini ada Terang dunia, ada cabang-cabang pohon zaitun yang berdiri di sampingnya dan mereka mensuplai minyak ke pelita-pelita itu. Dan jelas dikatakan, “Inilah Firman TUHAN kepada Zerubabel, mengatakan, Bukan dengan keperkasaan maupun dengan kekuatan, melainkan dengan Roh-Ku,’ firman TUHAN semesta alam.”  Jadi di sini ada kuasa yang mengendalikan alam semesta, Roh Allah yang mengendalikan, apa kita melihatnya atau tidak, Dia sedang memegang kendali.

 

 

Zechariah 4:7

“⁷ Who art thou, O great mountain before Zerubbabel? Thou shalt become a plain. And he shall bring forth the Headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, ‘Grace, grace unto It.”

Referring to the “great mountain before”, all the nations were trying to hinder the construction of the temple, and we are thinking here in terms of an end time scenario, in other words, the construction of the spiritual temple, gathering the people of God out of every nation, tribe, and creed, and tongue, and bringing them into harmony with God's Word; and the obstacle is the nation or the nations around them, the mountains of obstacle. But they shall not prevail. 

And the Headstone shall come forth, and the Headstone of course is Jesus Christ. The plan of salvation will be made clear.

 

Zakharia 4:7

“⁷ Siapakah engkau, gunung yang besar di depan Zerubabel? Engkau akan menjadi tanah datar. Dan Ia akan membawa keluar Batu fondasi utama dengan sorakan, menyerukan, ‘Rahmat! Rahmat bagiNya!”

Merujuk ke “gunung yang besar di depan”, itu semua bangsa yang berusaha menghalangi pembangunan Bait Suci. Dan jika kita di sini berpikir menurut skenario akhir zaman, dengan kata lain itu pembangunan Bait Suci spiritual, dikumpulkannya umat Allah yang keluar dari segala bangsa, suku, kepercayaan, dan bahasa, dan membuat mereka menjadi serasi dengan Firman Allah; dan penghalangnya ialah bangsa atau bangsa-bangsa di sekeliling mereka, gunung yang mengahalangi. Tetapi mereka tidak akan menang.

Dan Batu fondasi yang utama akan keluar, dan tentu saja Batu fondasi utama itu Yesus Kristus. Rancangan keselamatan akan dibuat jelas. 

 

 

Zechariah 4:8

“⁸ Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, ⁹ The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this House…” what does the Bible say about foundation? There's no other foundation that can be laid than Christ Jesus, “…his hands shall also finish it; and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto you.”

So we do not need to panic, we do not need to be discouraged. The House will be built even if the obstacles and the mountains of obstacles surrounding us seem insurmountable, it will happen, because God said so.

 

Zakharia 4:8

“⁸ Dan lagi datanglah Firman TUHAN kepadaku, mengatakan, ⁹ ‘Tangan Zerubabel yang telah meletakkan fondasi Rumah ini…”  apa kata Alkitab tentang fondasi? Tidak ada fondasi lain di atas mana bisa dibangun selain Kristus Yesus (1 Kor. 3:11),   “…tangannya juga yang akan menyelesaikannya. Dan kamu akan mengetahui, bahwa TUHAN semesta alam yang mengutus aku kepadamu.”

Jadi kita tidak perlu panik, kita tidak perlu berkecil hati. Rumah itu akan dibangun walaupun penghalang-penghalang dan gunung-gunung penghalang yang mengelilingi kita sepertinya tidak bisa diatasi, namun itu akan terjadi karena Allah berkata begitu.

 

 

Zechariah 4:10

“¹⁰ For who hath despised the day of small things? For they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel, with those seven; they are the eyes of the LORD, which run to and fro through the whole earth.”

It might seem to us that the work is progressing slowly, that we do not see tremendous results of our labors, but the Word of God is like yeast, working its way through the dough. We cannot always discern how it operates and who it reaches. You can get little glimpses, but we need not be discouraged. So this structure, this kingdom of God, this House of God, this gathering of His people will take place. It will be based upon the Word of God. It will be based upon the Light of the world. It will be based upon the work of the Holy Spirit, not our work, not by might nor by power, but by His Spirit. 

 

Zakharia 4:10

“¹⁰ Sebab siapa yang memandang hina hari peristiwa-peristiwa yang kecil? Karena mereka akan bersukaria dan akan melihat batu pengukur (unting-unting) di tangan Zerubabel, bersama yang tujuh; mereka  adalah mata TUHAN, yang hilir mudik di seluruh bumi.”

Bagi kita mungkin sepertinya pekerjaan itu lambat sekali majunya, kita tidak melihat hasil yang berarti dari kerja keras kita, tetapi Firman Allah itu seperti ragi, yang bekerja di dalam adonan. Kita tidak selalu bisa melihat bagaimana cara kerjanya dan siapa yang dijangkaunya. Tetapi kita bisa mendapat kilasan-kilasan kecil, kita tidak usah berkecil hati.

Jadi struktur ini, kerajaan Allah ini, Rumah Allah ini, pengumpulan umatNya ini akan terjadi. Itu akan berdasarkan Firman Allah. Itu akan berdasarkan Terang unia. Itu akan berdasarkan pekerjaan Roh Kudus, bukan pekerjaan kita, tidak dengan keperkasaan maupun dengan kekuatan, melainkan oleh RohNya.

 

 

And now we need to find out what the issue will be. Remember there is a then-time application and there is an end-time application.

Now when we look at the  work of the Reformers, when we look at the Advent pioneers, how did they see these issues? It's interesting to me that they had some very pertinent ideas which we won't find in the general commentaries of the world today. But it's noteworthy that they saw it from beginning to end. In other words, they incorporated the eschatological views that we also find in the book of Revelation right here in the book of Zachariah.

 

Dan sekarang kita perlu mencari tahu isunya akan seperti apa. Ingat, ada aplikasi untuk zaman itu dan ada aplikasi untuk akhir zaman.

Nah, bila kita lihat pekerjaan para Bapak Reformator, bila kita simak para pioner Advent, bagaimana mereka melihat isu-isu itu? Menarik bagi saya bahwa mereka punya beberapa ide yang penting yang tidak akan kita temukan dalam komentar-komentar umum di dunia sekarang. Tetapi perlu dicatat bahwa mereka melihatnya dari awal hingga akhir. Dengan kata lain mereka memasukkan pandangan-pandangan eskatologis dalam kitab Wahyu yang juga kita temukan dalam kitab Zakharia di sini.

 

 

So let's have a look at the issues and see if we can see any parallels. Please note that I am NOT saying that there's the absolute essence of everything in the book of Zachariah,  but we are told that if we dig deeply, God will help us to understand these things, because surely He didn't write it down so that it just should decorate the book. Surely these words are written for us.

 

Jadi mari kita simak isu-isu itu dan kita lihat apakah kita bisa mengenali paralelnya. Harap diingat bahwa saya TIDAK mengatakan bahwa di kitab Zakharia ada esensi mutlak dari segalanya, tetapi kita diberitahu jika kita menggali sampai dalam, Allah akan membantu kita memahami hal-hal ini, karena sudah barang tentu Dia tidak menyuruh hal itu ditulis hanya sebagai perhiasan kitab itu, sudah pasti kata-kata itu ditulis bagi kita.

 

 

SIXTH VISION

Chapter 5, this is the sixth vision and now we're getting to the heart of the issue.

Zechariah 5:1-3

“¹ Then I turned, and lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a flying roll…” flying in the midst of heaven. Does that sound familiar, something flying in the midst of heaven, do we find it in the book of Revelation? Do we find it in the Three Angels’ Messages where we have the angels flying in the midst of heaven? And there is a roll which is a scroll on which there was written.  “…² And he said unto me, ‘What seest thou?’ And I answered, ‘I see a flying roll; the length thereof is twenty cubits, and the breadth thereof ten cubits.’…” so it's a very specific size, it's a massive role that we see flying through the midst of heaven and we need to see whether there are any parallels that we can associate this roll with. But let's first get some more details about the roll.  “… ³ Then said he unto me, ‘This is the curse that goeth forth over the face of the whole earth; for every one that stealeth shall be cut off as on this side according to it; and every one that sweareth shall be cut off as on that side according to it….”

 

PENGLIHATAN KEENAM

Pasal 5, ini adalah penglihatan keenam, dan sekarang kita menghampiri inti isunya.

Zakharia 5:1-3

“¹ Lalu aku berpaling, dan mengangkat mataku, dan melihat, dan tampak sebuah gulungan  yang terbang…”  terbang di tengah-tengah langit. Apakah ini terdengar familier, sesuatu yang terbang di tengah langit, apakah kita melihatnya di kitab Wahyu? Apakah kita melihatnya di Pekabaran Tiga Malaikat di mana ada malaikat-malaikat yang  terbang di tengah langit? Dan ada sebuah gulungan yaitu gulungan kitab yang ada tulisannya   “… ² Dan ia berkata kepadaku: ‘Apa yang engkau lihat?’ Dan aku menjawab, ‘Aku melihat sebuah gulungan terbang; panjangnya dua puluh hasta dan lebarnya sepuluh hasta.’…”  jadi ini adalah ukuran yang sangat spesifik, sebuah gulungan besar yang kita lihat terbang di tengah-tengah langit, dan kita perlu mencari apakah ada paralelnya yang bisa kita hubungkan dengan gulungan ini. Tetapi lebih dulu marilah kita mendapatkan lebih banyak detail tentang gulungan ini.   “…³ Lalu ia berkata kepadaku. ‘Inilah kutukan yang keluar menimpa seluruh permukaan bumi; sebab setiap orang yang mencuri akan disingkirkan menurut sebelah sini gulungan itu;  dan setiap orang yang bersumpah, akan disingkirkan menurut sebelah sana gulungan itu.”

 

 

So this scroll has writings on both sides,  and the one portion of the roll has to do with the dealings of man to man, stealing for example. Where do we find that? Do we not find it in the Ten Commandments? And the other one has to do with swearing, in other words being faithful to your oath.

So here we have the two tablets of stone in the form of a roll, written on both sides just as the tablets of stones were written on both sides. The one tablet was associated with your duty towards man, the other tablet was associated with your duty towards God.

 

Jadi gulungan itu ada tulisannya pada kedua sisinya, dan satu bagian berkaitan dengan interaksi antar-manusia, misalnya mencuri. Di mana kita melihat itu? Tidakkah kita menemukannya di Sepuluh Perintah Allah? Dan yang satunya lagi berkaitan dengan sumpah, dengan kata lain setia kepada sumpah kita.

Jadi di sini ada kedua loh  batu dalam bentuk gulungan, yang ada tulisannya pada kedua sisinya persis sama seperti pada kedua  loh batu yang juga bertuliskan pada kedua sisinya. Satu loh itu berkaitan dengan kewajiban manusia terhadap sesama, loh batu yang lain berkaitan dengan kewajiban manusia terhadap Allah.

 

 

So we need some information regarding the scroll. We have its size, it is 20 cubits, and the breadth thereof is 10 cubits. Now where do we find these dimensions in the Bible? Well, you find them in 1 Kings 6:3 where it refers to Solomon's Temple, and particularly here the dimensions of the porch. 

Now the portico  or colonnade as it was, was on the east side and it says here, “³ And the porch before the temple of the house, twenty cubits was the length thereof, according to the breadth of the house; and ten cubits was the breadth thereof before the house.” So this is the area where many, many, events took place within the temple court. Here was the place within this colonnade where the Pharisees had their quarters, this is where judgments took place, this is where the reading of the Law took place, this is where curses and judgments and promises were relayed to the people. So the porch was a very, very, important part of the temple, and it had a very specific size, and it was on the east, and when you looked into the temple you were looking at the entrance to the Altar of burnt-offering, and to the Holy and to the Most Holy.

 

Jadi kita perlu informasi mengenai gulungan itu. Kita tahu ukurannya, yaitu 20 hasta, dan lebarnya 10 hasta. Nah di mana kita menemukan ukuran ini di Alkitab? Nah, kita temukan di 1 Raja 6:3 merujuk ke Bait Suci buatan Salomo, terutama dimensi berandanya. Nah, beranda atau serambi di mana ada banyak tiang-tiangnya (kolonade), terdapat di sebelah timur, dan dikatakan, “³ Dan beranda di depan bilik Rumah itu, dua puluh hasta panjangnya, sesuai lebar Rumah itu, dan sepuluh hasta lebarnya di sebelah depan Rumah itu.”

Jadi inilah area di mana banyak-banyak peristiwa terjadi di dalam pelataran Bait Suci. Di sinilah di dalam kolonade itulah tempat orang-orang Farisi, di sinilah penghakiman berlangsung, di sinilah Hukum Allah dibacakan, di sinilah kutuk dan penghakiman dan janji-janji disampaikan kepada umat. Jadi beranda itu bagian yang amat sangat penting dari Bait Suci, dan memiliki ukuran yang spesifik, dan letaknya di sebelah timur, dan bila orang melihat ke Bait Suci, orang melihat ke pintu masuk mezbah bakaran, dan ke Bilik Kudus dan Mahakudus.

 

 

And then we find it also in verse 23 that they are dimensions that are the same. And we read in 1 Kings 6:23, “²³ And within the oracle…” this is now Solomon's Temple  “…²³ And within the oracle he made two cherubims of olive tree, each ten cubits high…” It's interesting that these cherubs were constructed of olive wood. “…²⁴ And five cubits was the one wing of the cherub, and five cubits the other wing of the cherub: from the uttermost part of the one wing unto the uttermost part of the other were ten cubits. ²⁵ And the other cherub was ten cubits…”   So you have the height was ten cubits and from the one angel’s tip of the wing to the other angel’s tip of the wing was twenty cubits. So there you have the figures: ten and twenty again.  So the portico or the porch where many of the activities took place, where the judgments took place, where the consequences of the transgression of God's Law were relayed to the people, to the Law itself where the angels, the cherub were the covering cherubs on the Ark of the Covenant. 

 

Lalu kita juga menemukannya di ayat 23 ukuran yang sama. Dan kita  baca di 1 Raja 6:23, “²³ Dan di dalam Bilik Mahakudus…”  ini Bait Suci yang dibangun Salomo,   “…Dan di dalam Bilik Mahakudus dibuatnya dua kerub dari kayu zaitun, masing-masing sepuluh hasta tingginya…”  yang menarik kerub-kerub ini dibuat dari kayu zaitun.   “…²⁴ Dan lima hasta itu panjang satu sayap kerub, dan lima hasta sayap yang lain kerub itu, dari titik paling ujung satu sayap hingga titik paling ujung sayap yang satunya, itu sepuluh hasta. ²⁵ Juga kerub yang kedua adalah sepuluh hasta…” Jadi kita tahu tingginya yaitu 10 hasta, dan dari satu ujung sayap kerub yang satu hingga ke ujung sayap kerub yang lain itu 20 hasta. Jadi kita dapat angka-angka yang sama lagi: 10 dan 20. Maka beranda atau serambi di mana terdapat banyak kegiatan, di mana penghakiman diadakan, di mana konsekuensi  pelanggaran Hukum Allah disampaikan kepada umat, hingga ke Hukum itu sendiri, di mana malaikat-malaikat, kerub-kerub adalah kerub-kerub penudung Tabut Perjanjian. 

 

 

So the scroll is the message of God's Covenant, the Ten Commandments, flying through the midst of heaven, and sending a message to the entire world. In other words it's akin to the message of Revelation of the First Angel, “⁶ And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, ⁷ Saying with a loud voice, ‘Fear God, and give glory to Him; for the hour of His judgment is come: and worship Him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.’…”

So we have a parallel, a message concerning the Law of God.

 

Maka gulungan itu ialah pekabaran Perjanjian Allah, Kesepuluh Perintah, yang terbang di tengah-tengah langit, dan mengirimkan pesannya ke seluruh dunia. Dengan kata lain, ini sama dengan pekabaran di Wahyu dari Malaikat Pertama, “⁶ Dan aku melihat malaikat lain terbang di tengah-tengah langit, padanya ada Injil yang kekal, untuk diberitakannya kepada mereka yang diam di atas bumi, kepada semua bangsa dan suku dan bahasa dan kaum, ⁷ berseru dengan suara nyaring, ‘Takutlah akan Allah dan muliakanlah Dia, karena telah tiba saat penghakiman-Nya, dan sembahlah Dia yang telah menjadikan langit dan bumi dan laut dan semua mata air.’…"

Jadi ada paralelnya, suatu pekabaran tentang Hukum Allah.

 

 

Zechariah 5:4

Now what will this message do? “⁴ ‘I will bring it forth,’ saith the LORD of hosts, ‘and it shall enter into the house of the thief, and into the house of him that sweareth falsely…”  so here you have two aspects, you have the thief, so in earlier time we read here in verse 3, “every one that stealeth” in other words, break the second tablet “Love your neighbor”,  “and every one that sweareth” sweareth falsely. So here you have the relationship to your fellow man and you have your relationship to God. And who would those be that swear falsely? Wouldn't it be the systems that have compromised their faith in God? Wouldn't it be those institutions that bring in syncretism and compromise the Word of God? Wouldn't it be those institutions that set aside the Law of God and its requirements?

So it will enter:

ü    into the houses of the non-religious man who lives in transgression with God's Law,

ü    and it will enter into the houses of worship of those that pretend to be in harmony with God but they swear falsely.

They don't adhere to the Covenant because they are swearing by His name.

Let's lead that verse again. “…⁴ ‘I will bring it forth,’ saith the LORD of hosts, ‘and it shall enter into the house of the thief…” that's the secular man who disregards the Law of God, and his love to his neighbor,  “…and into the house of him that sweareth falsely by My name…” that's the religious institutions which break the Covenant of God and make the Law of God of none effect  “…and it shall remain in the midst of his house, and shall consume it with the timber thereof and the stones thereof…”

 

Zakharia 5:4

Nah, pekabaran ini akan berbuat apa? “⁴ ‘Aku akan mengadakannya,’ firman TUHAN semesta alam, ‘dan itu akan masuk ke dalam rumah si  pencuri, dan ke dalam rumah  dia yang bersumpah palsu…”  jadi di sini ada dua aspek, ada si pencuri ~ dan tadi kita  baca di ayat 3, “setiap orang yang mencuri” dengan kata lain, ini melanggar loh batu kedua “mengasihi sesama”; dan “setiap orang yang bersumpah” bersumpah palsu. Jadi di sini ada hubungan sesama manusia dan hubungan manusia dengan Allah. Dan siapa mereka yang bersumpah palsu? Bukankah itu sistem-sistem yang telah mengkompromikan iman mereka dalam Allah? Bukankah itu institusi-institusi yang membawa masuk sinkretisme dan mengkompromikan Firman Allah? Bukankah itu institusi-institusi yang menyingkirkan Hukum Allah dan tuntutan-tuntutannya?

Jadi itu akan:

ü    masuk ke dalam rumah-rumah manusia yang tidak relijius yang hidup dalam pelanggaran Hukum Allah,

ü    dan itu akan masuk ke dalam rumah-rumah ibadah mereka yang berpura-pura selaras dengan Allah tetapi mereka bersumpah palsu.

Mereka tidak patuh pada Perjanjian karena  mereka bersumpah palsu dalam namaNya.

Mari kita  baca lagi ayat itu, “…⁴ ‘Aku akan mengadakannya,’ firman TUHAN semesta alam, ‘dan itu akan masuk ke dalam rumah si pencuri…”  ini manusia sekuler yang mengabaikan Hukum Allah, dan kasihnya pada sesama   “…dan ke dalam rumah dia yang bersumpah palsu demi nama-Ku…”  ini institusi-institusi relijius yang melanggar Perjanjian Allah dan yang menjadikan Hukum Allah tidak berarti,   “…dan itu akan tetap ada di dalam rumahnya, dan akan memusnahkannya bersama kayu dan batu-batunya…"

 

 

And it's fascinating to me that when you read the scriptures Moses would describe the idols of the people as those having been constructed of wood and stone. Let me give you an example. Deuteronomy 29:16 says, “¹⁶ For ye know how we have dwelt in the land of Egypt; and how we came through the nations which ye passed by. ¹⁷ And ye have seen their abominations, and their idols, wood and stone, silver and gold, which were among them. ¹⁸ Lest there should be among you man, or woman, or family, or tribe, whose heart turneth away this day from the LORD our God, to go and serve the gods of these nations; lest there should be among you a root that beareth gall and wormwood.”

So these houses that swear falsely, these individuals or institutions that break God's Law and do harm to their fellow man, in other words, the transgressors of God's Law, will be consumed  “with the timber…” the wood stands for the individual human beings   “…thereof and the stones thereof…”

 

Dan bagi saya itu menarik ketika kita membaca tulisan Musa, dia menggambarkan berhala-berhala orang-orang itu sebagai dibuat dari kayu dan batu. Saya akan memberikan contoh. Ulangan 29:16 mengatakan, “¹⁶ Sebab kamu tahu bagaimana kita sewaktu diam di tanah Mesir; dan bagaimana kita berjalan melewati bangsa-bangsa yang kamu lalui. ¹⁷ Dan kamu sudah melihat kekejian-kekejian mereka dan berhala-berhala mereka, kayu dan batu, perak dan emas yang ada di antara mereka. ¹⁸ Supaya jangan sampai ada di antara kamu  laki-laki atau perempuan, atau keluarga, atau suku, yang hatinya hari ini berpaling dari TUHAN, Allah kita, untuk pergi berbakti kepada allah-allah bangsa-bangsa itu; supaya jangan ada di antaramu akar yang mengandung kepahitan  atau absinthium.”

Maka rumah-rumah ini yang bersumpah palsu, orang-orang atau institusi-institusi yang melanggar Hukum dan mencelakai sesama manusia, dengan kata lain para pelanggar Hukum Allah, akan dihanguskan  “bersama kayu…” kayu mewakil individu manusianya  “…dan batu-batunya.” 

 

 

SEVENTH VISION

Zechariah 5:5-6

“⁵ Then the angel that talked with me went forth, and said unto me, ‘Lift up now thine eyes, and see what is this that goeth forth.’ ⁶ And I said,’ What is it?’ And he said, ‘This is an ephah…” now here's another interesting prophecy. So first you have a flying scroll, and now he sees an  ephah. And this is the seventh vision. And it's a very intriguing vision. And the pioneers of the Advent Movement had very distinct ideas about this prophecy. You could make it a local application, or you could give it a local application to literal Israel, yes, but I'm concerned and interested in what could the eschatological dimension be. So let's have a look at this fascinating prophecy that begins in verse 5. “…⁵ Then the angel that talked with me went forth, and said unto me, ‘Lift up now thine eyes, and see what is this that goeth forth.’…” We’ve just had this magnificent description of the power of the Law of God associated with His sanctuary service, the holiness thereof, the covering cherubs, the message that goes out to the world, and then we had the warning against the individuals and the institutions that do not adhere to the principles of the Law of God. And then we come to these interesting verses.   “…⁶ And I said,’ What is it?’ And he said, ‘This is an ephah that goeth forth.’…” So what was an ephah? Well an ephah was a standard of measure, and it was used as a dry measure. So grain was sold by the ephah, so it was a component with quite a fair amount of material in it, and it was a standard of measure.  “…He said moreover, ‘This is their resemblance through all the earth.’…”

And now what is this resemblance?

 

PENGLIHATAN KETUJUH

Zakharia 5:5-6

“⁵ Lalu malaikat yang berbicara dengan aku maju, dan berkata kepadaku, ‘Angkatlah sekarang matamu dan lihatlah apa yang muncul itu!’ ⁶ Dan aku berkata, ‘Apa itu?’ Dan dia berkata, ‘Ini adalah sebuah efa…’…” nah ini ada nubuatan yang menarik. Jadi pertama ada gulungan kitab terbang, dan sekarang dia melihat sebuah efa. Dan ini adalah penglihatan ketujuh, yang adalah penglihatan yang sangat menarik. Dan para pioner Gerakan Advent punya ide-ide yang sangat jelas mengenai nubuatan ini. Ini bisa dianggap aplikasi lokal atau menjadikannya aplikasi lokal bagi Israrel literal, tetapi saya memikirkan dan tertarik dengan apa kira-kira dimensi eskatologinya. Jadi mari kita simak nubuatan yang menarik ini yang dimulai di ayat 5.

“…⁵ Lalu malaikat yang berbicara dengan aku maju, dan berkata kepadaku, ‘Angkatlah sekarang matamu dan lihatlah apa yang muncul itu!’ …”  Kita baru saja melihat deskripsi luar biasa dari kuasa Hukum Allah yang terkait dengan pelayanan Bait SuciNya, kekudusannya, kerub-kerub penudungnya, pekabaran yang pergi ke seluruh dunia, kemudian ada peringatan bagi individu-individu dan institusi-institusi yang tidak patuh pada prinsip-prinsip Hukum Allah. Kemudian kita tiba pada ayat yang menarik ini. “…⁶ Dan aku berkata, ‘Apa itu?’ Dan dia berkata, ‘Ini adalah sebuah efa yang keluar.’…”  Jadi efa itu apa? Efa itu standar takaran (sekitar 22 liter), dan dipakai sebagai takaran barang-barang kering. Misalnya biji-bijian gandum djual per efa, jadi itu adalah komponen yang cukup banyak bahannya, dan itu standar takaran. “…Lagi katanya, ‘Inilah kemiripan mereka di seluruh dunia!’…"

Nah, “kemiripan” ini apa?

 

 

Zechariah 5:7-8

“⁷ And, behold, there was lifted up a talent of lead…” now both of these are measures. A talent of lead was a weight that was put onto a scale; the ephah was a measure of volume; and they were are measures of things that were used in merchandise selling. And God was very particular about the size of the ephah and the accuracy of the weights that were being used. No false weights. And God warned against those who make it lighter, or heavier, or smaller, or greater. So God was very precise in how He enacted His issues fairly. So there was a talent of lead over this ephah, “…⁷ And, behold, there was lifted up a talent of lead and this is a woman that sitteth in the midst of the ephah…”  so here was a woman sitting in the midst of this dry measure. Now what is a woman? Well, a woman in prophecy is a church. So if we want to give it a spiritual application let's use the symbols that the Bible gives us. So the standard whereby things are measured is controlled by a woman who sits within this ephah, and she's covered with lead so you cannot see her, you do not know what is the standard. “…⁷ And, behold, there was lifted up a talent of lead and this is a woman that sitteth in the midst of the ephah.  ⁸ And he said, ‘This is wickedness.’ And he cast it into the midst of the ephah; and he cast the weight of lead upon the mouth thereof…”

So for a while the cover was removed and the world could see that the measure that which controls the standards of the world is wicked.  For a moment it was visible, and then the lead cover was put over it again, and it became invisible.

And what happened then? It was recognized as wickedness, it was cast back into the ephah. The weight was put back on top of it, to contain it.

 

Zakharia 5:7-8

“⁷ Dan lihat, timbal (timah hitam) seberat satu talen itu diangkat…”  nah, keduanya itu (efa dan talen) adalah takaran. (1 talen zaman Perjanjian Lama sekitar 34 kg). 1 talen timbal adalah beban yang diletakkan pada timbangan; efa adalah ukuran dalam bentuk volume; dan mereka adalah takaran yang dipakai untuk berjual-beli dulu. Allah sangat teliti mengenai takaran isi efa dan keakuratan berat beban-beban timbangan yang dipakai. Tidak boleh ada beban yang palsu. Dan Allah memberi peringatan kepada mereka yang membuatnya lebih ringan, atau lebih berat, atau lebih sedikit, atau lebih banyak. Jadi Allah itu sangat presisi bagaimana Dia melakukan urusannya secara adil.

Jadi ada satu talen timbal di atas efa ini,   “…⁷ Dan lihat, timbal (timah hitam) seberat satu talen itu diangkat, dan ada seorang perempuan  yang duduk di tengah-tengah efa itu…”  jadi di sini ada seorang perempuan yang duduk di tengah-tengah takaran kering ini. Nah, perempuan itu melambangkan apa? Seorang perempuan dalam nubuatan adalah gereja. Jadi jika kita mau mengaplikasikannya secara spiritual, mari kita pakai simbol-simbol yang diberikan Alkitab.  Nah, standar dengan mana benda-benda ditakar, dikendalikan seorang perempuan yang duduk di dalam efa, dan perempuan itu tertutup oleh tutup timbal sehingga kita tidak bisa melihatnya, kita tidak tahu apa standarnya.   “…⁷ Dan lihat, timbal (timah hitam) seberat satu talen itu diangkat, dan ada seorang perempuan  yang duduk di tengah-tengah efa itu. ⁸ Dan dia berkata, ‘Ini kejahatan.’ Dan dia melemparkannya ke tengah-tengah efa itu, dan dia melemparkan timbal pemberat  ke atas mulut efa itu…”

Jadi selama beberapa waktu lamanya tutup itu dibuka dan dunia bisa melihat bahwa takaran yang mengendalikan standar dunia itu jahat. Untuk sejenak itu terlihat, kemudian tutup timbal itu ditutupkan kembali ke atasnya, dan tidak terlihat lagi.

Lalu apa yang terjadi? Dia sudah dikenali sebagai kejahatan, dia dimasukkan kembali ke dalam efa, pemberatnya ditutupkan kembali ke atasnya untuk mengurungnya.

 

 

Zechariah 5:9

“⁹ Then lifted I up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came out two women, and the wind was in their wings…” “wind” רוּחַ [rûach], spirits,  “…for they had wings like the wings of a stork, and they lifted up the ephah between the earth and the heaven...”

Two women, and they have the wind in their wings. So a woman is a church. Two churches, or two religious systems come, and they lift up the ephah. They have the רוּחַ [rûach], the spirit with them, but they have the wings of a stork. Now a stork is an unclean bird. So why would these women have the wings of an unclean bird?

Well, if you go to the book of Revelation then you will read in chapter 18 of the book of Revelation, well let's go there, let's read from verse 18 chapter 17, “¹⁸ And the woman...” church “... which thou sawest is that great city...” Rome  “...which reigneth over the kings of the earth. ¹ And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory. ² And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, ‘Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit רוּחַ [rûach], and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. ³ For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. ⁴ And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, ‘Come out of her, My people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. ⁵ For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.’…” wickedness! “…⁶ Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled, fill to her double. ⁷ How much she hath glorified herself…” and what does she say? She says, "...‘I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.’…” And then there's the story of all the merchants that are wailing and crying because of her demise.

So this is the effect of the Second Angel’s Message, “Babylon has fallen, has fallen” which is repeated there in Revelation chapter 18. And God's people are called out of these systems that have  made null and void God's Law. And the one, the spirit that actuates them is an unclean spirit.

  

Zakharia 5:9

“⁹ Lalu aku mengangkat mataku dan melihat, dan   tampak dua perempuan muncul yang sayapnya didorong oleh angin…” “angin” רוּחַ [rûach], roh,  “…karena mereka punya sayap seperti sayap burung bangau. Dan mereka mengangkat efa itu di antara bumi dan langit…” Dua perempuan, dan angin sedang meniup sayap mereka. Perempuan itu lambang gereja. Jadi ini dua gereja, atau dua sistem relijius, datang, dan mereka mengangkat efa itu. Mereka memiliki רוּחַ [rûach], roh pada mereka, tetapi mereka bersayapkan sayap burung bangau. Nah, burung bangau itu burung yang najis (haram, tidak boleh dimakan). Jadi mengapa kedua perempuan ini memiliki sayap burung yang najis?

Nah, bila kita ke kitab Wahyu, kita akan membaca di pasal 18, marilah kita ke sana, mari kita baca mulai pasal 17:18,  “¹⁸ Dan perempuan yang telah kaulihat itu, adalah kota besar…”  Roma   “…yang memerintah atas raja-raja di bumi. Wahyu 18:1-7, “¹ Setelah hal-hal itu, aku melihat seorang malaikat lain turun dari sorga. Ia mempunyai kekuasaan besar dan bumi menjadi terang oleh kemuliaannya. ² Dan ia berseru dengan suara yang kuat, katanya: ‘Sudah roboh, sudah roboh Babel yang besar itu dan telah menjadi tempat kediaman roh-roh jahat, penjara bagi setiap roh najis רוּחַ [rûach],  dan  sebuah sangkar untuk setiap  burung yang najis dan yang dibenci,  ³ karena semua bangsa telah minum dari anggur murka zinahnya, dan raja-raja di bumi telah berbuat zinah dengan dia, dan pedagang-pedagang di bumi telah menjadi kaya oleh kelimpahan kemewahannya.’ ⁴ Lalu aku mendengar suara lain dari sorga berkata, ‘Keluarlah darinya, hai umat-Ku, supaya kamu jangan mengambil bagian dalam dosa-dosanya, dan supaya kamu jangan turut ditimpa malapetaka-malapetakanya. ⁵ Sebab dosa-dosanya telah bertimbun-timbun sampai ke langit, dan Allah telah mengingat segala kejahatannya.’…” kejahatan!   “…⁶ Berikanlah kepadanya, sama seperti yang dia berikan kepadamu, dan balaskanlah kepadanya dua kali lipat sesuai perbuatannya, di dalam cawan di mana dia telah membuat campuran,  campurkanlah baginya dua kali lipat; ⁷ Betapa dia telah memuliakan dirinya sendiri…”  dan apa katanya? Dia bilang, “…‘Aku bertakhta seperti ratu, aku bukan janda, dan aku tidak akan mengalami kesedihan.’…”  Lalu ada cerita bagaimana semua saudagar meratap dan menangis karena kematiannya.

Jadi ini adalah akibat dari Pekabaran Malaikat Kedua, ”Sudah roboh, sudah roboh Babel” (Wah. 14:8)    yang diulangi di Wahyu pasal 18. Dan umat Alah dipanggil keluar dari sistem-sistem ini yang telah menjadikan Hukum Allah nihil dan tidak berarti. Dan roh yang menggerakkan mereka adalah roh yang najis.

 

 

So when we read these verses, let's read them with that in mind. And by the way, this is what some of the pioneers believed. So here is the standard of measure, but it is a wicked standard of measure, and it is concealed. And there is a woman controlling it, and that woman according to Revelation is the Roman Catholic system which controls the morality of the world with an altered Law of God. The basis for morality in the Roman system is not the Word of God, but natural law.

 

Jadi bila kita membaca ayat-ayat ini, mari kita membacanya dengan mengingat itu. Dan ini diyakini oleh beberapa pioner. Jadi di sini ada standar takaran, tetapi itu standar takaran yang jahat, dan itu tersembunyi. Dan ada seorang perempuan yang mengendalikannya, dan menurut kitab Wahyu, perempuan itu ialah sistem Roma Katolik yang mengendalikan moralitas dunia dengan Hukum Allah yang sudah diubahnya. Dasar untuk moralitas di sistem Roma bukanlah Firman Allah melainkan hukum alam.

 

 

But interesting, when was the lid removed and she was revealed as wickedness? Well it could have only happened during the Reformation, because the Reformers exposed the system and everybody saw that it was a system which was contrary to the Word of God.

So the Reformers said Sola Scriptura.

And they said, No, no, not Sola Scriptura! Tradition is the context in which Scripture must be evaluated.

So you have two systems of morality in the world:

1.     one controlled by natural law

which is the Roman Catholic way of dictating morality

2.     and one by the Word of God

And the scroll, this message has to go out into the world. And when she was revealed and exposed as Antichrist system, the world knew it.

 

Tetapi menarik, kapan tutup itu diangkat dan perempuan itu terungkap sebagai kejahatan? Nah, itu hanya bisa terjadi selama masa Reformasi Protestan, karena para Reformator membuka kedok sistem itu dan semua orang melihat bahwa itu adalah suatu sistem yang bertentangan dengan Firman Allah.

Jadi para Reformator mengatakan Sola Scriptura.

Mereka berkata, Tidak, tidak, bukan Sola Scriptura! Tradisi adalah konteks dengan mana Kitab Suci harus dievaluasi.

Jadi ada dua sistem moralitas di dunia:

1.     satu yang dikendalikan oleh hukum alam

yang adalah cara Roma Katolik mendikte moralitas.

2.     dan yang lain oleh Firman Allah.

Dan gulungan kitab itu, pekabarannya harus disampaikan ke seluruh dunia. Dan bilamana dia terungkap dan terekspos sebagai sistem Antikristus, dunia mengetahuinya.

 

 

But then came the Counter Reformation. And the Counter-Reformation took the heat off, and the Antichrist was no longer seated in Rome, the Antichrist was some future entity that would arise and rule for some literal period of three and a half years here on earth, while the Church of God had been raptured away. These dispensationalist views are all from the pens of Jesuit Roman Catholic fathers. Cardinal Bellarmine was the one who eventually built it up to what it is today, and what is being spread by Pentecostalism.

 

Kemudian muncul Kontra-Reformasi. Dan Kontra-Reformasi mengalihkan perhatian dari Antikristus, dan Antikristus mereka buat tidak lagi berbasis di Roma melainkan suatu perwujudan yang akan muncul di masa depan dan memerintah selama suatu periode literal tiga setengah tahun di bumi, sementara gereja Allah pada waktu itu sudah diangkat ke Surga. Pandangan dispensasionalis ini semuanya berasal dari pena-pena romo-romo Jesuit Roma Katolik. Kardinal Bellarmine adalah yang akhirnya membangunnya menjadi apa yang ada sekarang ini, dan yang disebarluaskan oleh Pentakostalisme.

 

 

But they had the wings of a storck, “every unclean and detestable bird” says the book of Revelation, and this wind this רוּחַ [rûach], is a false spirit. Now do we have churches today that seem to comply with this? And do they have a relationship with Rome? Unfortunately, this is the case, because the book of Revelation tells us that there are three components to the Babylonian system.

ü    the one is the Beast system

which pertains to Roman Catholicism, in which all the Reformers agreed upon was to be associated with the Rome.

ü    And then there was the false prophet

the one that would perform miracles by which he would deceive the world. So in other words these miracles were being performed by a false holy spirit. And do we have a system like that in the world today? Well, yes, we do. We have a system of Protestantism that does exactly that, that relies on miracles, and wonders, and signs.

And what about the doctrine? What about the truth of God’s Word? They claimed doctrine is not important. God will sort out the doctrine when we come upstairs, they say. So they set aside doctrine. But when you set aside doctrine you are setting aside the Word of God, and you are making the emotion and the feeling the center of what you believe.

So fallen Protestantism is one of those two women.

ü    who is the other one? Well the Bible says it's dragon worship, which means it's Spiritism.

And spiritism believes that there is no death. Spiritism believes the words of the serpent “thou shalt surely not die.”

And by this threefold union, the system, the anti-typical system of Babylon will be erected upon this earth. 

 

Tetapi kedua perempuan itu memiliki sayap burung bangau,

“setiap  burung yang najis dan yang dibenci” kata kitab Wahyu, dan angin ini, רוּחַ [rûach]  ini, adalah roh yang sesat.

Nah, apakah sekarang ini ada gereja-gereja yang tampaknya sesuai dengan ini? Dan apakah mereka punya hubungan dengan Roma? Sayang sekali, begitulah, karena kitab Wahyu mengatakan kepada kita bahwa ada tiga komponen yang membentuk sistem Babilon:

ü    yang satu ialah sistem Binatang itu,

yang berkaitan dengan Roma Katolikisme, di mana semua Reformator sepakat bahwa itu harus dikaitkan kepada Roma.

ü    Kemudian ada si nabi palsu.

Yang akan membuat mujizat dengan mana dia akan menyesatkan dunia. Jadi dengan kata lain mujizat-mujizat itu dibuat oleh roh kudus yang palsu. Dan apakah sekarang ini ada sistem yang seperti ini? Ya, ada. Ada sistem Protestantisme yang melakukan persis demikian, yang bergantung pada mujizat-mujizat, dan keajaiban-keajaiban dan tanda-tanda.

Dan bagaimana dengan doktrinnya? Bagaimana dengan kebenaran Firman Allah? Mereka mengklaim doktrin itu tidak penting, Allah nanti yang akan membereskan doktrinnya kalau kita sudah di Surga, kata mereka. Maka mereka mengesampingkan doktrin. Tetapi bila kita mengesampingkan doktrin, kita mengesampingkan Firman Allah, dan kita membuat emosi dan perasaan menjadi inti dari apa yang kita percayai.

Maka Protestantisme murtad adalah salah satu dari kedua perempuan itu.

ü    Siapa yang satu lagi? Nah Alkitab mengatakan itu penyembahan naga, yang berarti itu Spiritisme.

Dan Spiritisme meyakini tidak ada kematian. Spiritisme mempercayai kata-kata si ular, “engkau pasti tidak akan mati.” (Kejadian 3:4)

Dan dengan kesatuan tiga serangkai ini, sistem itu, sistem antitipe dari Babilon akan didirikan di atas bumi ini.

 

 

So you have:

ü    the system of measure

the standard whereby morality is to be judged, which is a wicked system.

And this system will be set up with the aid of

o     Spiritism and

o     fallen Protestantism, which have signed agreements with Rome that they are back in harmony with the Roman ideologies.

 

Jadi ada:

ü    Sistem ukuran

Standar dengan mana moralitas akan dihakimi, yang adalah sistem yang jahat.

Dan sistem ini akan didirikan dengan bantuan:

o     Spiritisme dan

o     Protestantisme murtad, yang sudah menandatangani perjanjian-perjanjian dengan Roma bahwa mereka sudah kembali serasi dengan ideologi-ideologi Roma.

 

 

So let's read what they will do these women.

Zechariah 5:9-11

“⁹ Then lifted I up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came out two women, and the wind was in their wings; for they had wings like the wings of a stork…” unclean birds, false holy spirit, driving them along  “…and they lifted up the ephah…” the standard of measure, the standard of morality, in opposition to God's flying scroll  “…between the earth and the heaven. ¹⁰ Then said I to the angel that talked with me, ‘Whither do these bear the ephah?’…” Where are they going?  “… ¹¹ And he said unto me, ‘To build it an house…” a house? What is the house? A religious system!  To build it a house, to give it stature, a religious system, and where are they going to build this?  “…in the land of Shinar…” and where is Shinar? Shinar is Babylon,  “…and it shall be established, and set there upon her own base….” not upon the base of the Bible, not upon the Cornerstone which holds the building together which is Jesus Christ. No! It denies the atonement. It denies that Jesus Christ died for you. It denies the righteousness of Christ ~ as we saw with Joshua and the Angel of the Lord, that imputed and imparted righteousness. It will be set on its own base, its own morality, and it will become the system that governs the morality of the world.

 

Jadi mari kita  baca apa yang akan dilakukan perempuan-perempuan itu.

Zakharia 5:9-11

“⁹ Lalu aku mengangkat mataku dan melihat, dan   tampak dua perempuan muncul yang sayapnya didorong oleh angin karena mereka punya sayap seperti sayap burung bangau…”  burung yang najis, roh kudus palsu, yang menggerakkan mereka. “…Dan mereka mengangkat efa itu…”  standar takaran, standar moralitas, berlawanan dengan gulungan kitab terbang Allah   “… di antara bumi dan langit. ¹⁰ Lalu aku bertanya kepada malaikat yang berbicara dengan aku, ‘Ke mana mereka ini membawa efa itu?’ …”  Ke mana mereka pergi? “…¹¹ Dan dia berkata kepadaku, ‘untuk mendirikan sebuah rumah baginya’…”  rumah? Rumah itu apa? Suatu sistem relijius! Membangun sebuah rumah, memberinya wujud, suatu sistem relijius. Dan di mana mereka akan membangun ini?   “…di tanah Sinear…”  dan di mana Sinear? Sinear itu Babilon,  “…dan itu akan didirikan, dan akan ditempatkan di sana di atas dasarnya sendiri…”  bukan atas dasar Akitab, bukan di atas Batu penjuru yang mengikat bangunan itu menjadi satu, yaitu Yesus Kristus. Tidak! Dia menyangkal pendamaian. Dia menyangkal Yesus Kristus mati bagi kita. Dia menyangkal kebenaran Kristus ~ sebagaimana yang kita lihat pada Yosua dan Malaikat Tuhan, kebenaran yang diperhitungkan dan yang dibagikan itu. Ini akan didirikan di atas dasarnya sendiri, moralitasnya sendiri, dan itu akan menjadi sistem yang menguasai moralitas dunia.

 

 

Do we see movements like that in the world today? Absolutely! The Pope has asked for a one-world religion, and they came together in Seoul Korea where they signed the document of the unity of religion agreement, and the Protestant world has signed away its faith in righteousness by faith, by signing a document which has such obscure language, that it actually supports Roman Catholic doctrine and not Protestant doctrine.

 

Apakah kita melihat gerakan-gerakan seperti itu di dunia sekarang ini? Tepat sekali! Paus sudah minta dunia dengan satu agama, dan mereka datang berkumpul di Seoul Korea di mana mereka menandatangani dokumen kesepakatan persatuan agama, dan dunia Protestan dengan itu telah membuang imannya pada pembenaran oleh iman, dengan menandatangani suatu dokumen yang bahasanya begitu samar-samar yang sesungguhnya mendukung doktrin Roma Katolik dan bukan doktrin Protestan.

 

 

Let's just have a look and see what we can find in terms of what some of the pioneers believed regarding this issue.

One of the early members of the Advent Movement was a man by the name of Christian Edwardson and he wrote a book Facts of Faith. It is a marvelous book if you can ever get hold of Facts of Faith then read it. And he has some interesting things to say. He says “…’a woman that sitteth in the midst of the ephah’ (Zech. 5:7), a woman in prophecy symbolizes a church, and in the book of Revelation this woman is called the ‘mother church’ which is ‘drunken with the blood of… the martyrs of Jesus’. It is also represented as ‘that great city’ on ‘seven mountains’ (Revelation 17:5, 6, 9, 18). This woman is said to be trading in all kinds of ‘merchandise’, linen, silk, wine, flour, sheep, chariots, souls of men. (Revelation 18:12-13). A more striking picture of the papacy could hardly be given, for no advantage in the business world escapes her vigilance. She always seeks to place her members in strategic government positions and at advantageous labor posts…”    He says,  “…‘Two women’ are next seen who ‘lifted up the ephah between earth and heaven’…” referring to Zechariah 5:8-9. “…That is after the true nature of the papacy has been concealed, the miracle-working power of Spiritism in some Christian form  and fallen Protestantism (these two women) will raise the papacy to the sky…” (Facts of Faith pg. 310.)  I can only concur if this is the only logical sense in which we can apply this prophecy to the time that we are living in.

 

Mari kita simak dan lihat apa yang bisa kita temukan sehubungan dengan apa yang diyakini para pioner mengenai isu ini.

Salah satu anggota mula-mula Gerakan Advent adalah seseorang yang bernama Christian Edwardson dan dia menulis sebuah buku Facts of Faith. Ini adalah buku yang bagus sekali, jika kalian bisa mendapatkan Facts of Faith ini, bacalah. Dan ada beberapa hal yang menarik yang dikatakannya. Dia berkata,  “…seorang perempuan yang duduk di tengah-tengah efa (Zak. 5:7), seorang perempuan dalam nubuatan melambangkan sebuah gereja, dan di kitab Wahyu perempuan ini disebut ‘ibu gereja’, yang ‘mabuk oleh darah para martir Yesus.’ Dia juga digambarkan sebagai ‘kota besar itu’ yang ada di ‘tujuh gunung’ (Wahyu 17:5, 6, 9, 18). Perempuan ini dikatakan berdagang segala macam barang dagangan, linen, sutra, anggur, tepung, domba, kereta, nyawa manusia (Wahyu 18:12-13). Gambaran yang lebih jelas daripada ini untuk menggambarkan kepausan nyaris tidak ada lagi, karena tidak ada keuntungan di dunia bisnis yang luput dari pengamatannya. Dia selalu berusaha menempatkan orang-orangnya di posisi-posisi strategis dalam pemerinthan dan di pos-pos buruh yang menguntungkan…” Edwardson berkata,   “…’Dua perempuan’ berikutnya terlihat ‘mengangkat efa itu antara bumi dan langit’…”  mengacu ke Zakharia 5:8-9.   “…Setelah sifat alami sejati kepausan disembunyikan, kuasa yang mengerjakan mujizat dari Spiritisme dalam semacam bentuk Kekristenan dan Protestantisme murtad (kedua perempuan tersebut) akan mengangkat kepausan ke langit…”  (Facts of Faith pg. 310.) Saya hanya bisa setuju jika ini adalah satu-satunya yang logis di mana kita bisa mengaplikasikan nubuatan ini ke masa di mana kita hidup.

 

 

It's also fascinating to me that the counter to this, God's truth, God's measure of righteousness and justice and true merchandise, is the scroll that flies. Remember that scroll was the same dimension as the porch. So let's just talk a little bit more about the porch and get some interesting parallels about the porch.

In Ezekiel 8:16 we read, “¹⁶ And he brought me into the inner court of the LORD's house, and, behold, at the door of the temple of the LORD, between the porch and the altar, were about five and twenty men, with their backs toward the temple of the LORD, and their faces toward the east; and they worshipped the sun toward the east.”

That is a rather startling statement. They were worshipping towards the east. They should have been facing the temple but they were facing the other way, and these were the leaders of Israel, they were facing the other way. And I'm afraid we will find parallels of that even in our time, because this system, this Babylonian system, is so indoctrinating, it is so hypnotic, that it has even crept into the ranks of God's people, and many pay more adherence to that than to the Word of God, and to the Testimony of His Word. So they are facing the east, following this system.

 

Yang juga menarik bagi saya ialah lawan dari semua ini, kebenaran Allah, standar kebenaran dan keadilan dan dagangan Allah, ialah gulungan kitab yang terbang. Ingat gulungan itu punya dimensi yang sama dengan beranda Bait Suci. Jadi mari kita bicara sedikit lebih banyak tentang beranda/serambi itu dan menyimak beberapa paralel menarik tentang serambi itu.

Di Yehezkiel 8:16 kita  baca, “¹⁶  Dan Ia membawa aku ke pelataran dalam Rumah TUHAN; dan lihatlah, di pintu masuk ke Bait TUHAN, di antara serambi dan mezbah ada kira-kira dua puluh lima orang laki-laki, dengan punggung mereka menghadap Bait TUHAN dan wajah mereka menghadap ke sebelah timur, dan mereka sedang menyembah matahari di sebelah timur.”

Ini pernyataan yang cukup mengejutkan. Mereka sedang menyembah ke arah timur. Mereka seharusnya menghadap Bait Suci tetapi mereka menghadap ke sebaliknya, dan ini adalah para pemimpin bangsa Israel, mereka menghadap ke arah yang berlawanan. Dan saya khawatir kita akan menemukan paralel dari hal itu bahkan di zaman kita, karena sistem ini, sistem Babilon ini, begitu mengindoktrinasi, begitu menghipnotis, sehingga itu bahkan sudah menyelinap masuk ke dalam jajaran umat Allah, dan banyak yang lebih mematuhi itu daripada mematuhi Firman Allah dan Kesaksian FirmanNya. Jadi mereka sedang menghadap ke timur, mengikuti sistem itu.

 

 

Now let's have a look at what happened in the porch other than that.

In John 10:23, “²³ And Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon's porch…” This is where Jesus was doing most of His teaching. So there you had the Pharisees teaching one thing, having their own standard of righteousness, which they'd written in their construct of the Law; and then you had the Teacher of righteousness walking in the same porch, teaching the people. And there was conflict.  Verse 24 chapter 10 John, “²⁴ Then came the Jews round about Him, and said unto Him, ‘How long dost Thou make us to doubt? If Thou be the Christ, tell us plainly.’ ²⁵ Jesus answered them, ‘I told you, and ye believed not. The works that I do in My Father's name, they bear witness of Me. ²⁶ But ye believe not, because ye are not of My sheep, as I said unto you. ²⁷ My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. ²⁸ And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of My hand. ²⁹ My Father, which gave them Me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of My Father's hand. ³⁰ I and My Father are one.’ ³¹ Then the Jews took up stones again to stone Him.”

So these teachings took place in this temple porch, and the conflict between truth and error is associated with the porch. The dimensions of the porch is the same as the dimension of the flying scroll. The dimensions of the angelic beings above the Ark of the Covenant is associated with this exact size.

 

Sekarang mari kita lihat apa yang terjadi di beranda/serambi selain itu.

Di Yohanes 10:23, “²³ Dan Yesus berjalan-jalan di Bait Allah, di serambi Salomo…”  Di sinilah Yesus memberikan kebanyakan pengajaranNya. Jadi di sana ada orang-orang Farisi yang mengajarkan satu hal, dengan standar kebenaran mereka sendiri yang telah mereka tulis dalam versi Hukum mereka; dan ada Sang Guru kebenaran yang berjalan di serambi yang sama, mengajar orang-orang. Dan terjadilah konflik di sana. Yohanes 10:24, “²⁴ Lalu datanglah orang-orang Yahudi mengelilingi Dia dan berkata kepada-Nya, ‘Berapa lama lagi Engkau membuat kami bimbang? Jikalau Engkau Mesias, katakanlah terus terang kepada kami.’ ²⁵ Yesus menjawab mereka, ‘Aku telah mengatakannya kepada kamu, dan kamu tidak percaya. Pekerjaan-pekerjaan yang Kulakukan dalam nama Bapa-Ku, itulah yang memberikan kesaksian tentang Aku, ²⁶ tetapi kamu tidak percaya, karena kamu bukan dari domba-domba-Ku, seperti yang Kukatakan kepadamu. ²⁷ Domba-domba-Ku mendengar suara-Ku, dan Aku mengenal mereka, dan mereka mengikuti Aku. ²⁸ Dan Aku memberikan hidup yang kekal kepada mereka dan mereka tidak akan pernah binasa, maupun ada yang mencabut mereka dari tangan-Ku. ²⁹ Bapa-Ku, yang memberikan mereka kepada-Ku, lebih besar daripada semua; dan tidak seorang pun yang dapat merebut mereka dari tangan BapaKu. ³⁰ Aku dan Bapa adalah satu.’ ³¹ Lalu orang-orang Yahudi mengambil batu lagi untuk melempari Yesus.”

Jadi ajaran-ajaran itu terjadi di serambi Bait Suci, dan konflik antara kebenaran dan kesalahan diasosiasikan dengan serambi itu. Dimensi serambi itu sama dengan dimensi gulungan kitab terbang. Dimensi malaikat di atas Tabut Perjanjian diasosiasikan dengan ukuran yang sama ini.

 

 

We read in Joel 2:17, “¹⁷ Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, ‘Spare Thy people, O LORD, and give not Thine heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them.’ Wherefore should they say among the people, ‘Where is their God?’

 

Kita  baca di Yoel 2:17, “¹⁷ hendaknya para imam yang melayani TUHAN, menangis di antara serambi dan mezbah, dan hendaknya mereka berkata, ‘Luputkanlah, ya TUHAN, umat-Mu dan janganlah biarkan milik pusaka-Mu Sendiri menjadi cela, sehingga bangsa-bangsa lain memerintah atas mereka. Mengapa mereka harus berkata di antara bangsa-bangsa, ‘Di mana Allah mereka?’…"

 

 

So the porch is a very prominent place in the Bible. It is a place of decision making, it is a place of choosing between the blessings and the cursings.

So the message in Revelation chapters 13 to 17, in fact the whole eschatology as is expounded in the book of Revelation, is identical to what we see here in the book of Zechariah.

ü    So they were going to take the standard of measure,

ü    they were going to build a house, a religious structure for the uplifting of the Roman standard of morality,

ü    and they were going to become a religious system to control the minds of men.

 

Jadi serambi (beranda) itu adalah tempat yang sangat penting di Alkitab. Itulah tempat pengambilan keputusan, itulah tempat untuk memilih antara berkat dan kutuk.

Jadi pekabaran Wahyu pasal 13 hingga 17 bahkan seluruh eskatologinya seperti yang diungkapkan di kitab Wahyu, itu identik dengan apa yang kita lihat di kitab Zakharia di sini.

ü    Jadi mereka akan mengambil standar ukurannya,

ü    mereka akan mendirikan sebuah rumah,

sebuah bangunan relijius untuk meninggikan standar moralitas Roma,

ü    dan mereka akan menjadi suatu sistem relijius untuk mengendalikan pikiran manusia.

 

 

We have choices to make. We have to either choose between the blessings or the cursings. If we transgress God's Law, we will transgress on a man-to-man level or on a man-to-God level, and there is only one standard of righteousness. We have a choice to make.

 

Kita harus membuat keputusan. Kita harus memilih antara berkat atau kutuk. Jika kita melanggar Hukum Allah, kita akan melanggar pada tahap manusia ke manusia, atau tahap manusia ke Allah, dan hanya ada satu standar kebenaran. Kita harus membuat keputuan.
